Fantastic experience: I went in with a big bag of things to trade in today. Darin was super patient and even helped me get the most out of my trade ins! He also helped me purchase my new switch 2 with a game and accessories with the trade in credit! Even with the things, they couldn't accept, he suggested what to do with them too. Great customer service!
Negative experience: rude employees ♀️ told us he was going to follow us home and was mad we made two transactions instead of just one. said it’s not his job to help out customers even though it literally is ? why work somewhere you hate and hate the customers equally as much..
Fantastic experience: Jake helped me save trading in my old Xbox for the Series X. He made sure I got the best deal and they were open even in the winter storm! Great experience, will be back again!
Negative experience: Hours say open at 11. Have the shop a few minutes to open up and no one is there. No sign either to let you know if location is closed or not.

The guy with glasses and long hair kept trying to to argue with a 14 year old boy, all we wanted was the Ps5 and he told my little brother “ to stop thinking about Fortnite and buy other games” why does he even care about what my brother plays? So rude and disrespectful hope they can fix the issue

Fantastic experience: I bought a PS4 game for my little brother's birthday
Negative experience: Everytime I walk in this gamestop the workers are rude, snarky, and short. Several times i’ve walked in and asked a simple question and without being able to even finish my sentence I am cut off and met with attitude and rudeness. I spend less than a minute every time in this store to find out what I need but that is enough time to understand how terrible the workers are. Even workers who aren’t helping me making snide remarks on the side. Do not go here. All you will get when you go is an attitude.
Fantastic experience: Worked with Jack trying to get rid of an old console, didn’t expect much for it, but he made the process amazing and fun. Very nice worker! Would highly recommend this store for especially if he’s working!

Negative experience: Bought an Xbox Series S here. Not only did the controller have stick drift, but the dude who was working was incredibly rude to me. I kid you not, he called me an idiot several times for wanting to buy this console, as well as a “baby” because of the games I wanted to play on it. He kept assuring me that I was stupid and making the worst decision of my life, then was incredibly disrespectful when it came to me not wanting to buy a warranty. I get that he’s very passionate about video games bit this encounter ruined my night and GameStop nearly lost my business after this.

Negative experience: I called several times to check if the store had what I wanted and they never picked up. I went to the store and the employee was rude, forcefully sold me a membership I did not ask for, claiming I would receive a 25 dollar discount and then tried to overcharge me by not applying the discount. Now I see why there are so many bad reviews.
Negative experience: Don't bother with this location you'll place a pickup order with items worth over $500 just to get there for pickup and the store be closed 4hrs early without any signage up
Negative experience: I'd give negative stars if I could. Long story short, I'll never buy anything from gamestop again. And this particular store is to blame. Sold me a broken controller, and wouldn't take the return. I purchased a pre owned refurbished PS5 controller from gamestop online, this store was the closest one to have it. All the way across the metroplex for me. Finally make it home and it's broken, the thumbstick has me spinning in circles. Update doesn't work. Pissed, but I'll just take it back tomorrow. Phone rep says you have to take it to the same store to return. So today I walk in to return and they tell me we can't take defective items back, on this day only, for inventory reasons. In fact, they said no gamestop can take back defective items, on this sunday only. Tomorrow you can return. Now, I'm really pissed. This controller, that was only 10$ less than new has now cost me gas money for 2 back and forth trips and 2 afternoons. Out of curiosity, I call another gamestop. He says, I am not sure why they would say that. We can gladly help with your return. I go, it takes 2 mins and I'm out the door. NOW, I am to believe this store lied to me. So not only did the store sell me a BROKEN 60$ controller, refuse to help me return it the next day, but also lied to me. The most ridiculous waste of time. I'll never spend another cent at gamestop again.

Fantastic experience: Great store, great service, staff are very friendly, nice and always ready and willing to help. I bought my Ps 5 from this store and few months down the line it broke. Luckily I got a warranty on it so I went back there to get it replaced. It was a smooth process I got my new Ps 5 console back on no time. Anthony was very helpful with the whole process and it was such a great pleasure working with him. I will recommend this store 10/10 and anytime you go there ask for Anthony he will sure get you together.

Negative experience: My wife and I went to the store looking for evolving skies booster packs and the new promo card. The store leader Antonio told us that the store was sold out on Pokémon cards but shows us a full box of the Duralodon promo cards. We asked him since the store didn’t have any cards to sell, he can honor the promotion with the preorder that we did for Celebrations (more than $200). He didn’t wanted too. If you didn’t have cards to sell and that customer is spending more that $200 dollars in cards why won’t you keep that customer happy? Also, how can you have that box full of promo cards when you are suppose to be giving them since Friday and you confirm that you sold everything? Is just seems unfair and sketchy that the promos are still there while the store doesn’t have any Pokémon card to sell. We are very disappointed with this and we really understand why this is a dying industry. If you want to still keeping people to visit your store, just keep them happy.
Fantastic experience: Very pleasant experience today. I went in looking for PS5 accessories and they hooked me up with what I needed. Had a pleasant conversation with the staff as I browsed the PS4 games looking for something eclectic. Bonus points for not even mentioning the pro rewards membership! I know it used to be really high pressure back in the day, but today I decided to re-join on my own because I do enjoy the Game Informer magazine—they even hooked me up with a couple of past issues they still had laying around. I’ll definitely be back to this location in the future. Staff is friendly and respectful and didn’t ignore or dismiss this female gamer.

Negative experience: Staff is lazy, doesn't want to interact or help customers. When you go to the counter, they barely seem like they want to do their job. One woman is always there clearly does not want to work and always is being told what to do (even to bag a product after being forced to check me out). Didn't care to wear her mask either. The only time I had a really awesome experience here is when a floating manager was visiting for the evening I happened to be there.

The location is at Timber Creek Crossing 6176 Retail Rd suite #300 Dallas, TX. You also can't go wrong with the Gamestop in Northpark Mall or the Gamestop at 53304 Ross Ave #350 Dallas TX!

Positive experience: Good selection of used games. Also contains pop figures and other geek focused toys. This location was clean, decently stocked and had courteous staff. My only complaint is that gamestop's prices can be a bit high, but they do scratch that itch for immediate purchases.

Negative experience: I was disappointed that an old item they said was available for in store pick up on the web site was not in stock. Then the store looked it up on their computers and said it was at a store down the road but when I got there they also no longer had it in stock. Needless to say they nees to work on their inventory software.
Negative experience: First off I'm a previous employee at gamestop I have personally worked at this gamestop before also Never I have I ever had someone deny me service at any gamestop. I came in with my Nintendo switch system explaining to the employee that I had just purchased this system from someone and wanted to get it tested out. The employee looks at his manager Mike and asks what he thinks about it. Mike looks at him and asks him if he thinks they have time to test the system out. The employee and Mike look around the store to see how many people were in the store. This is where I'm mind blown. 4 people in the store and none are at the counter asking for any help. Both the manager Mike and employee are at the registers. Anyway the employee proceeds to tell me that they had no time right now because they were busy. I'm seriously irritated at this point. First off they both were NOT helping anyone out. So at the end of it all I ended up driving to another gamestop 20min away to get my system tested and to tell you they had at least 10+ people at their store and still managed to help me out. Seriously gamestop work on your customer service. This is unacceptable. Being a previous employee myself never have I ever had to experience this anywhere else.
Positive experience: Associate could have been a lot less moody at 1st but I can't complain too much because she was helpful in the end. They had the item I was looking for and gave good advice later on after we talked a bit.
