Positive experience: Nice little game store. Decent selection of board games and warhammer minis. A few other select mino games are available. For RPGs it's all D&D and nothing else. They sell CCGs, but not being into those I can't say much for their selection. Staff is friendly and mostly knowledgeable, but they do tend to hover and keep checking in no matter how many times you say you are fine and don't nees help.

Fantastic experience: Awesome staff , competitive prices and huge selection for the size of the store. Bought several mtg decks from here and I'm super happy with all of them. Never felt pressured to buy or spend more than I wanted to. If you're there for MTG precons, look here and ask for Emily if she's there. She has helped me choose and purchase several precons and her extensive knowledge of the products has made it so much easier for me as a new player. All of the staff rules and whether you're there for magic, pokemon, yugioh, Warhammer or any other tabletop or tcg , there's somebody there who is an expert on what you need to know.

Fantastic experience: Amazing selection of all TCG. I mainly go for Pokemon and One piece, but the amount of other games is crazy, not to mention accessories and table top games. Everyone is friendly staff wise, but the community they have built in terms of in store play and trading is awesome! I always feel welcomed and am stoked to see the employees and chat with them. Mesquite is lucky to have such a sweet TCG store!

Fantastic experience: My first visit here this evening was nice. The store is well organized and clean. Great selection of cards, games, and accessories. There is a fairly wide selection of TCGs including Yu-Gi-Oh which can be less common to see. They also have a wide variety of supplies for other table top games and figures. The woman at the counter was nice and very aware of what they had in stock and online. The cashier was very friendly and she didn't mind us taking our time to make our selections. We brought in our two girls who are learning to play and they enjoyed the store as well. Gaming going on in the main area of the store when we visited but we still felt welcomed in to shop and explore. A quick visit but we will be back.

Negative experience: I came to check out this store as i'm starting to get into gaming. I immediately felt uncomfortable in the store as they were hovering over me the entire time, I attempted to engage and ask questions since they were already following me around. The answers I received were condescending and it seemed like they wanted me to get out of their store. I do NOT recommend this store at all. They are RUDE and UNFRIENDLY.

Fantastic experience: Little brother and I visited this location today. Right off the bat the gentleman at the counter greeted us and struck a conversation with me. Felt much more welcoming than a card shop that’s only 5 minutes away. This shop is 25 minutes away from me but I will gladly make the trip! They also had a great amount of inventory, Pokémon cards, tabletop games, funkos and even video games for newer and older consoles! To my great suprise they also had a great inventory of yugioh products, which is rare for me to see nowadays as other places I’ve gone only had structure decks or nothing at all while they have a great deal of other card games. Here though there were booster boxes, sleeve, mats, figurines and I finally found a box of the Legendary Collection 25th anniversary, all reasonably priced! Friendly staff, great inventory, clean store. I would definitely recommend to anyone in search of a card shop! Will definitely be returning to shop again and take part in tournaments once I’ve got my deck ready!

Negative experience: There are barely any retro games as of 2023. Just comic books and diy figures

Fantastic experience: Update: Nothing but great things to say. Many people come in to trade with others, events are hosted. Great vibes all around! Great store for anything card game related! I've recently gotten into Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon, and I only come here for my cards. The employees are wonderful, always checking in with you to see if you need to see anything behind the counter, etc. They are knowledgeable on answering questions about their inventory and even update it as new stuff rolls out on their discord server. Attached are a few items I've bought here over the last month or so.

Fantastic experience: There's not a single negative comment I can say about this location, staff are very communicative, they know what they doing, every single question I had it got responded in the most professional way, I bought few products in the last 2 weeks from them, and it was great. Prices are even cheaper than online,. I notice that they were training new members and their patience and compromise to help them learn it's just priceless. Location it's clean and enough parking spaces.i highly recommend this guys.i surely be back soon.

Negative experience: The staff is nice, but the blatant price gouging of pokemon products has driven me away. The vip program is not worth paying market price plus for sealed products.

Fantastic experience: Walked into GameNerdz for the first time and immediately fell in love. You walk in and see a great selection of Warhammer 40k Models, Board Games, and even some video games. They have a great dice selection and a fantastic miniature selection as well! Staff was friendly and even had a great conversation with them! Felt right at home!

Negative experience: Wow, they are changing their business model, not too impressed any longer. They really had a niche now they are going more towards their game-nerd side.

Positive experience: I've gone every now and then for a handful of years for many things like old games, TCG, accessories, the game room and such. Haven't been in awhile and looks like they are going through changes. Not sure what is going on in the game room as it was quite messy. Many old games are now gone, just newer consoles games are there. They have lots of Warhammer now and TCG, and many funko pops. Though it's a bit of a hassle when looking through their shelves.

Negative experience: This place use to be amazing where you were able to save money on tcg but now someone thought it would be smart to mark up the prices to scalper prices double to triple msrp. Now at this point you’re better off supporting your small brick and mortar local game store that can’t afford the same inventory like gametrade/gamenerdz have.

Positive experience: Has a lot of games. The gaming room is very nice and comfortable and they also have bathroom and a vending machine in the back. It's only like 4$ an hour.

Negative experience: Bought an item from this place that turned out to be a counterfeit. Tried to call and get a refund and can’t get in contact with anybody. Please be careful when purchasing from this place.

Positive experience: If you go here avoid having Dustin help you. He has poor customer service and gets an attitude with you. He's easliy distracted while he rings you up and takes forever to get you out of the store for trade ins. Please look for Esmeralda when you go. She's a sweetheart and excels in customer service. She is also very quick when helping you. Maybe she could re train Dustin.

Negative experience: We bought a brand new handheld game system for my child there that was told by the employee it was preloaded with MARIO and it was not. Called up there and the guy that picked up the phone said we were never told that then asked us who told us that and he said no he didn’t. Then he went over and picked up the box and said I am sorry I was wrong it says it on the box. Then he said no returns on new open games if I have any issues call Nintendo. I said no worries I will also never walk in their store again after being y’all to like this . I just wanted to help out local small business but I will just go back to game stop.

Positive experience: It was ok. The store was dim. Pet peeve was the fact all the Nintendo cartridges where facing backwards so couldn't even tell what they had. And another down side was they where pretty pricey on the games. Especially games I know you can get for a lot cheaper. Plus side is the place was pretty clean and. It cluttered.

Fantastic experience: Our grandson turned 13 our #1 babyboy his parents couldn't have chose a better place to celebrate his special dayso many tv's and consoles for them to play video games staff on point.

Negative experience: I go to the store often and I love everything they have. A wait is expected, but they help every customer with full detail and I appreciate that. My only concern is that every time I enter, I feel unwelcomed. I don't necessarily look like someone who plays video games. I get that the employees are making sure that there's no theft happening in the store, but I'm making this review after the way they treated my younger brother. The employee who assisted him looked afraid and was very cautious when he was browsing around the store. I don't mind being watched over, I get that they're only doing their job. My brother is literally a kid, and it concerns me that he was treated differently for looking different. I digress, I'm still going to shop there, and I still love the products they have.
