Fantastic experience: Wanted to look for a brand new VR for my cousin, as his birthday was coming up in a few days. I was looking around first, just because the collection was amazing, recognizing countless different games that I used to play when I was a young chap. I spotted one, read the name to my buddy because we both wanted to take a look when the guy behind the computer loudly said “it’s not for sale”. I was just looking, and explaining to my friend that I loved this game, “Modnation Racers” as I used to play it on my ps3 when I was younger. A bit startled and uncomfortable by this, I brushed it off because I thought maybe people asked that frequently, but I was just checking it out and wasn’t gonna ask him if it was for sale because I was there to purchase a VR. All and all I saw one for around 100$ with tax, and thought it looked good. I questioned the young lady if everything was working and fine. She replied everything worked cosmetic wise, which wasn’t what I asked, but she said “it should work”. Not to be rude, but before buying something you would think it would be verified if it was functioning or not. I purchased it, went home, and it told me it was already paired, probably to the original owner or whoever was testing it. I was upset because my cousins birthday was only 3 days away, and the vr wouldn’t let me use it even after factory reset. I would rate this place 2 stars, because both of the employees there were unsure, and the male that was counting inventory or on the computer was cussing and kids were in the store. I took it back the next day, and asked to speak to a manger. Bradley, told me I could trade that one for a working one. Needless to say, he provided excellent customer service, and even gave a charger as the previous employees did not. Bradley if you are reading this, you made this 2 star review into 5 stars. The Vr was working perfectly, and no issue prevailed. Thank you Bradley for being a Legend.

Positive experience: This was a cool place and it has all the vintage games it's a little small on the inside but still very cool!

Positive experience: I might going back due to they giving me the wrong game by mistake or not I already have the same game that they give me it ok store lots of stuff but not much of switch games.

Negative experience: Might be good for someone who is just looking for a few games but for serious collectors this place is trash: everything is so dirty and the prices are insane. I found some of the same games that were cleaned and refurbished for less than a quarter of the price online. Please don’t go here.

I’ve bought a Wii and some games (ps2, ps4, Wii) and they have great prices on used consoles. Everyone I’ve met up there so far is very personable, great job

Fantastic experience: Chris Putt lied about that situation. The staff is always upfront and honest with their merch that they sell. He is upset that he wasn't paying attention when they explained to him the warranty and that the model he grabbed was not able to play ps2 games but every ps3 can play ps1 games.

Negative experience: I went there to get a Playstation that could play at least PS2 games. They didn't have a PS2 but said the PS3 would. I bought it and learned this version of PS3 wouldn't. When I took it back, they would only give store credit. I said that was unacceptable since they said it would work. I tried to contact a regional manager but have not heard back. So basically beware as they will FLAT OUT LUE TO YOU TO SELL SOMETHING!!!

Negative experience: Not off to a great start they open at 10 am and I purposely got here at 11 am to not be that guy Its only 10 minutes away from my house however still bothersome to pull up and light be on but the door is locked There was another guy who got here at 1020 and he said he has been waiting as well !

Positive experience: Id like to start with the positives there prices are fair and that's it now the negatives everything is dam near dirty stains and dust it smells weird and some of the games I've bought have not been able to work now i have bought quite a few of them so it's not that bad and customer service is OK can't complain there finally all these items come with multiple price tag that are annoying to peel of maybe not your fault but it's still a pain

Negative experience: Very densely packed store with extremely narrow aisles. A lot of junk packed up against the storefront windows. Their inventory was pretty stale. I purchased an item that was marked at $19.99, but it rang up for $24.99. When I informed the employee, I had to return the item and purchase it again and she gave me a $5 store credit slip for the price difference. The item ended up not working and I had a difficult time returning it at another location due to the way she resold me the item under the same tag that already showed up as being returned in their system, so I got weird looks when I returned it at another store. The employees were really weird and awkward and apparently one of them was a manager?

Negative experience: I'm a long time gamer and I know what I'm looking for when I come in the gaming stores. What turned me away was the customer service. This was nearby so I thought I would pick something up instead of ordering it online which is pretty easy to do nowadays but I like to support the gaming stores. two younger staff behind the counter need to work on their engagement skills, I asked if they had two items in stock, which I'm sure they had both and they didn't even make a reasonable attempt to look. One of the items was for sure in the display case I was looking directly at where it would have been but all they said was "sorry we don't have either" not to discredit the business but you know these little things will always make me walk the other way not that hard. got to do better on training staff with product knowledge and placement. If you see something in this store you're going to have to point it out to them in order to get it. If you need help finding something you're better off Elsewhere based off my experience.

Negative experience: Update: Super upset. They did not give full store credit when returning controller. And they pay pennies on games that are pristine. The place is a little grungy. But they're knowledgeable and friendly. 15 games for xbox 360 and 5 for Xbox one. $10!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service and the employees on staff had very explicit language and disregard for customers. I gave 2 stars because ONE of them was cleaning the shop and it was a pretty good selection in store. But I felt uncomfortable.

Negative experience: I bought this game today at this store, they have a great selection of games , and lots of used controllers and different other game memorabilia. One thing I couldn’t get passed tho, is how insanely dirty everything is!! Some of the used games and game controllers are caked in dirt , grime and idk what else, like seriously, would it hurt to clean some of the used controllers?! There was 5 employees in the store all just sitting behind the counter doing nothing , barely greeted some customers as they came in. I don’t know who runs this store .. but they could seriously curate their inventory better. Just my opinion and experience.. I hope you guys is better than mine!!

Negative experience: Went in looking for movies. Asked the girl working for help. She just point to where I need to go and that's it . Can't find anything I was looking for. Went to car ordered it all online at Walmart. Shmm. No customer service.

Negative experience: Worst game store in the city! It smells like feet as soon as you walk in, the kids that work there are usually unprofessional and lazy. Trade in value are very low but they resale high for crappy used damaged products. On top of all that, some of their products don’t even work and they do NOT sanitize anything. They will sell you a controller with stains and crumbs in it for a taxed price. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Negative experience: 45.99 for a used ps4 controller?? That’s crazy and it still had neck beard cave crust all caked into the joysticks and buttons. Definitely passing this place.

Fantastic experience: I recently purchased a retro console from across seas and was uncertain if I needed to purchase an A/V converter since I couldn't get it to display on my tv at home. Came in and explained the situation to Xavier, he welcomed me to bring the console on for testing. So I came back in with the console, he was tied up with another customer, so Luna stepped in and assisted me with the testing of the console. She went above and beyond to ensure that I left with an answer. Thank you both! Will definitely be back to see them both.

Fantastic experience: Me and my kids probably go there once every two weeks, pretty hard to find a place like that now that carries new and used games and accessories

Negative experience: The time was Monday March 24, 2025. I was trading in some item with a young man who wouldn’t give me his name. He was young Black Male about 6 feet. He seem like he didn’t know how to do his job and was just giving basic prices. Was rude, very very slow, distracted and very unprofessional. It seem like this store has this issue before. When I explained to him that he had me thinking I would get a certain price for my item I was confused. Then he passed the blame to me as I was at fault. Not wanting to cause an issue I left. Very bad service . Please learn to hire better.

Negative experience: I've had two experiences with this location and neither has been stellar. If you are willing to do your own research before hand and are fine with over paying this place will do just fine in your book.

Negative experience: Visited the store and was not greeted by the employees. There were people waiting to check out and the employees were not acknowledging them and were chatting amongst themselves, one was sitting on the glass display cases with his back turned to the customers. We shopped and looked around for about 30 minutes, prices were horrible and way too high. I'm surprised they sell anything. Once store was pretty much empty of customers employees started badmouthing the previous customers and were saying rude things about them. The store also smells like sweat and mold. We asked a question about an item and got a snarky answer so we put up the items we were contemplating to purchase and left. Completely unprofessional place. Will not be going back, expect to have rude comments made about you the second you leave the store, employees are not as knowledgeable as they act.

Positive experience: Today, January 4th, I visited the store to organize my Pokémon cards. The black gentleman who helped me was very patient, helpful, and respectful. Unfortunately, the two white gentlemen, one with gothic rings and the larger gentleman, were very rude and rolled their eyes repeatedly. I kept my cool and did not let their behavior bother me, but I believe the manager should address this issue to ensure that customers receive respectful service from all employees.

Fantastic experience: Called in on Christmas Eve to see if they had a game I couldn't find anywhere. The guy that answered looked for it right away and held the game for me at the check out. I was in and out in no time and my son was able to have the game he wanted for Christmas. We will definitely come here for games more often

Fantastic experience: Lots of retro games. Was an amazing trip down memory lane walking through the well organized aisles. If I wasn't on a business trip, I would've bought one of the many Funko pop or figures that they had in stock.

Fantastic experience: The employees here were talkative and friendly, definitely knew what they were talking about, and clearly have a real passion for video games. The prices are also fair, I knew what the price of everything that I was interested in should be, at least market wise, and sure enough, everything I asked about matched the price I had in my head. They also have things I didn't expect at a store like this, like vinyl records.

Fantastic experience: Had one of the craziest experiences of my recent life here. I'm not from Dallas and was trying to find a game store near where I was staying to browse around. I found this place and headed off. As soon as I got to the store, my phone died and the car I was driving was so old that it didn't have any ability to charge my phone. The guys behind the desk let me charge my phone up to an acceptable amount and talked to me about old games for about 30 minutes. Ended up picking up a copy of NES Remix Pack for $15 too. Great game store with great employees.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here was friendly and ready to help. They had a niche game accessory that was exactly what I was looking for. I browsed around, and they have a fantastic selection of older games, consoles, and trading cards. Will definitely be back here.
