Negative experience: Google maps says they open at 11:00 They open at 10 but holiday hours are 9 a.m. I said they only have one person working and they have about 12 customers I had to leave and go to another store

Negative experience: Was sold a pre owned controller when asked for a ps5 controller with no mention of it being preowned. They said could add on a pro member reneweal for 5 dollars after discounts. I went to return the controller to get a new one instead and the employee put all the discounts to the controller instead of pro membership so when I try to return this controller I just bought yesterday they say they can only refund the money that went towards controller and not pro account, in essence screwing me out of 20 dollars. Tried to just return and cancel the whole thing and they said was nothing i could do about the pro subscription except call a customer support that was closed. Arthur if you see this, you really screwed me over the way you rang the transaction different than what you said. Just goes to show you double check everything before walking out of a gamestop. Meticulously go over that receipt to make sure youre not being screwed.

Negative experience: Their hours are wrong on Apple Maps, it says they’re open until 9. I walked in at 8:01 and the girl on the register was rude as hell. Gave me attitude so bad that the people in line looked shocked. I walked out and will not be returning, I’ll find another GameStop in the area.

Fantastic experience: Arthur is the entire reason for this rating. His service was exceptional, stellar, A1!! I stopped by to look at games for the Nintendo Switch. He greeted me as soon as I walked in and gave me time to look before asking if I needed assistance. He helped me find an age appropriate 2 in 1 game, explained the benefits of the Nintendo membership, and recommended a fix to get more space on the switch. I could have saved money by getting a micro SD card from Walmart but, Arthur's service was so great, I had to buy it there!
Positive experience: Update stock would be nice
Negative experience: Tried to do a even traid in a brand new never opened game for a different system, they said it would cost $2 but after opening it still with the original seal they tell me it would cost me $59 for the game it was $2 only for the traid what a joke never going into a gamestop again

Positive experience: Great place to find all your gaming equipment. Also has a good selection of gaming memorabilia. Prices are a little high, but the customer service makes it worth the added cost. Always has what I need. Store is clean and in order.

Negative experience: One girl working doing a trade which apparently means she can't do anything else at the same time. We were ready to check out and stood there for 25 minutes Waiting. Guess they don't pride themselves on multitasking here. Won't be back again. Fall Out games for the win.

Negative experience: "Over all just not a good vibe or experience" This is 1 of the 3 gamestops closest to my house. We have gone here maybe twice and one time was to pick up a product our favorite one didnt have in stock. The associates don't greet you kindly like the one we have come to prefer. They actually kind of ignore you unless you approach them for something. Over all just not a good vibe or experience. If you want a store that gives positive vibes, helpful suggestions and no pressure just go a few blocks over to 51st and cactus

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I came here. The other day my son and I entered the store looking to purchase a controller due to his no longer working. Abby was so helpful and professional. She answered all of our questions and also told us about some the promotions and deals for their store. Which were actually beneficial being how often he plays. Negative experience: This place is freakin sucks. Today I buy copy of Twilight Princess I take it home and does not even work. When I return it I just get credit not my money bag. The people were nice and place was clean but why I don't get my money bag instead of credit? Maybe I don't want to buy something else if is not going to work.

Negative experience: Lost my receipt, purchased ps4 pro a few months ago. Still needed proof of purchase. Called store on 5/12/19, didn't get the name of the mouthbreather who was absolutely useless and couldn't say anything other than "we don't keep copies of receipts", and couldn't comprehend that a proof or purchase could be different from a receipt. Hung up, and googled the gamestop website and how to get Proof of purchase and found the form.
Fantastic experience: Great experience. The 2 gentleman there (Tye and I cant remember the others name) were very helpful. I'm a mom that has no idea what's good and not so much. They really helped me and were very knowledgeable. The store was very well kept! Thank you!

Positive experience: Surprisingly small used games selection. Middle of the store is basically all merch, rather than games. Used DS cart case is basically impossible to see into due to being really close to the ground and the carts not being in cases. Store was clean and staffed pretty well.

The staff is AWESOME, (Adrian and Steven are always friendly and understand our POP addiction!) And 3. It always smells like pizza. We always feel so welcomed here and it’s pretty cool the staff recognize us every time. Such an awesome team of people! This location will always be our #1 Gamestop.

Negative experience: So I went in I went online made sure repeatedly that I reserved the correct item and submitted then drove to the location ask the associate 3 times to see of this indeed is the 1tb xbox one console he didnt really check just confidently said yes even though no where on the description did it say 1tb xbox one. The tag read original black xbox one console I trusted his word and confidence get home it's a 500GB. I understand mistakes but things can be avoided if people would not be lazy and just simply check I work at lowes as a supervisor I would never not check if someone insisted. Now I have to go back Monday and see what they can do as far as getting me the correct item.

Negative experience: Went in to pre-order RDR2. Asked about what each edition had. The worker just gave me a paper to read about what each edition had. Was reading the paper for about 5 minutes. Worker didn’t even ask if I had questions. He just asked if I had made up my mind. Worker was yawning while I was reading. He really didn’t want to be there. I was expecting a little bit more excitement in hyping up the game. Asked him what time they would be releasing the game. The worker just answered “Probably after 9.” Wasn’t really a sure answer. On top of that. I had told him I had a 5 dollar credit for another game that I had preordered that I never picked up. Just now realizing he didn’t give me the $5 credit. I would’ve gone to another GameStop. But I don’t think it’s worth going to a store that’s farther away from my house when I have a closer one that will have the same game.

Negative experience: Stopped by on 2/24/18, it was Pro Day. I came to buy a couple of things, in which they were sold out of the one game I wanted. So, I still bought an item that was on sale. The assistance was great, however the employees are HIGHLY opinionated, and get very carried away in conversation, which can hold up the line for a while. On another note! They didn't even let me know about their Pro Day promo's. I then proceeded to a different gamestop, to find out about the promo's, and purchase the game. All in all... The assistance was good. but quite poor professionalism.

Negative experience: GameStop is not your friend, the employees are salesman, not gamers. Most have an air of superiority that they are coaxed to perform in front of customers in order to throw the average customer off guard and increase sales due to confusion, but then again that's what happens when you monopolize the gaming industry. The next time you talk to a GameStop employee, the eyes are a dead giveaway.
