Fantastic experience: I found litteral gold at this location, i fould a gamecube demo disc for 70 dollars. 10/10 would recommens if you want rare or hard to find games

Fantastic experience: Literally saved our newborn son, I kid you not. Most relaxing, friendly nostalgic environment!! Nick and his crew are the absolute best, they helped find games we couldn't remember the name of off the most random description of having a frying pan for a weapon. Huge selection, passionate, absolutely coming back again and again!! Also, Nick did 24 years of martial arts just cool as heck guyz!! Love this place ♥️♥️♥️

Fantastic experience: I came in with 100+ 360 games I needed to sell and tbh I thought they'd unpack the boxes I brought in and quickly eyeball an offer for me. Rather than that the guys working there took the time to scan and check in every single game to get an accurate dollar figure before they gave me an offer. It took them about an hour to get through everything but I ended up getting close to double what I expected and I'm SO grateful for the time they spent going through everything to document and price everything I had brought in. Super professional, very very helpful, and I'm looking forward to my next visit whether buying or selling. Highly recommend a look if you're into gaming, modern or retro, they have absolutely everything

Negative experience: Purchased Mario Party 6 for the gamecube. Arrived home put it in had to make 10 or so attempts before it read. I went back asked if they could maybe clean it on their machine. They did it still did not fix it. I called and asked about a refund to which they said only store credit. They stated they don’t test all the games. For $65 you’d hope they at least made sure it worked.

Negative experience: This place has the worst customer service, it never gets addressed. The owner hides away and never responds to the complaints and no changes are made.

Negative experience: I bought some games from them on Halloween and they have a 7 day return policy I came back with on the 6 day saying there games didn't work on my system so they just said it's because of my system and they wouldn't honor there return policy so now I am stuck with game that don't work I hope they there busines go under

They have an amazing disc cleaner that can take unplayable discs and make them look brand new and playable! Also, they consistently go above and beyond, making real connections with their customers. This is such a fun and friendly place...highly recommend!

Negative experience: I asked where the 3DS games are (Normal question, i've never been to this store) and the employee gave me attitude right away. The collection was 3.5/5 and that wasn't an issue. I asked if they had any more in the back and the dude gave me even more attitude. And from looking at other 1 star reviews I can't understand why this place is a 4.5 on google. That dude can bite it tho. Hope they get better employees who don't have a chip on their shoulder.

Fantastic experience: Over the last few days my wife and I have been going through our old things and found a collection of old games and consoles. We are downsizing things at home and decided to take some games in to Fallout to see what we could get for them. The experience can only be defined as what I'd expect the industry standard to become. Max was incredibly friendly, helpful and even didn't bat an eye when we came back in again today to sell the remainder of the collection. There was another gentleman working with him today, I didn't catch his name but he was also very friendly. My typical experience going into "competitors" always left me feeling like I got ripped off and received customer service on par with a cloud of upselling mosquitos hellbent on a giving me membership malaria. Not the case with Fallout. If you have a passion for retro gaming or modern gaming, go there first. Their prices are way more fair than you'll find around. They also offer incredibly fair trade and cash for the items that no longer bring you joy. Thank you Max and team, you've restored my faith in gaming store humanity. Negative experience: Be weary of scams whilst selling, advise you look elsewhere. Got told my playstaion couldnt read silver disc's whilst trying to sell it. They were nice enough and offered to buy it for a whopping 5$. Took it home, poped one of the SILVER game disc's I was trying to sell with the console in, and whatdoya know, it fires right up. Continued to try it on all 246 silver playstation disc's I have. All of them worked. Oh, and 3 other customers were helped during my selling process that made the already obnoxiously long wait even longer. Ive sent my wife up here to get a quote on an origonal pokemon yellow cartridge that i bought as a kid and knew it was legit, and she was told it was a reman. Just moved to the area and I have a large retro collection ive been looking to sell. Unfortunately will be doing business elsewhere. Whether genuine accidents or purposeful, this is unacceptable. For such a highly rated game store within the community this is NOT even 3 star experience. Gamestop 2.0 lol.

Fantastic experience: Nick and Max have been my go to for years for console, games, and overall industry gaming knowledge. I recommend going out of your way to visit this specific location. Huge stock of games, always friendly, and will help with all types of questions. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Negative experience: Came in here you trade some switch games, accidentally put the wrong game on one of the cases. Instead of letting me know, they took it and then when I asked for them to take out the credit I was given for it I was met with a swift "no I can't do that but I'll sell it back to you" scummy shady business also the Xbox they sold me disc drive didn't work

Negative experience: When i got there to sell one of my old consoles dude with hat and pimple face took one look at me and said "No no no leave the store" and im like why not give me an explanation and just shrugged me off. Came off prejudice, rude and bias while he was flirting with another girl on the clock.

Positive experience: Store overall is nice, alot of games to choose from. Aswell as alot of da and 3ds games. I'm rating it a 3 star because of the service. I had asked for a game and the employee simply said "well do you see it there" So I just left.

Positive experience: Great store and experience overall but 100% should say on the website trades stop at 6:30. Drove out of my way ready to sell/trade games. Arrived at 6:39 and was told trades stop at 6:30. This information should be posted on the website.

Negative experience: I walking in the other day and I was looking for resident evil 8 so I could give to my son as a birthday present and the employee there after I asked him for resident evil 8 gave me apparently resident evil 7 and my son when I got home said that it was the wrong game so I came back a day later and tried to get a refund and the employee said that people like me were taking advantage of them and said sir we are busy. That is why I will never return to fallout games.

Negative experience: My wife and I have liked coming into this store for a few years now. The prices are relatively the same as eBay and they are good at telling you when they think game discs are too scratched. However, I have to recommend not purchasing controllers from Fallout Games. I picked up a crystal blue dualshock controller that felt great in store. When I tried using the controller on my PS2, there was extremely bad stick drift and buttons would randomly trigger, unusable. When I went to take this controller back I was met with a rather rude employee who seemed like he just wanted me out of the store as quickly as possible. They wouldn't exchange the controller for store credit because "too many people are taking advantage of them". They grabbed a random black dualshock, plugged it in, mashed all the buttons for about 5 seconds, handed it to me and told me it was fine. After I expressed I only bought the controller because of the crystal blue design the employee told me that's all they can do. The replacement controller technically does work but it feels terrible! And again, I didn't want a black dualshock to begin with and I'm apparently stuck with it! Unfortunately, we have decided to no longer shop at this location and most likely all Fallout Games locations. I doubt the owner or their employees care about our decision but we do. We really did enjoy coming into the store and picking up a few games most visits but if these policies are really how this store wants to operate, we are no longer interested.

Negative experience: I normally make the trip from Downtown Phoenix all the way up here which I did today and I wanted to inquire about a discount over a sports game I told them that sports game typically sit on the shelves for years and this was last year's Edition and the guy got so butt hurt he said that they don't negotiate and I accepted it out slowest level LOL but I will leave my feedback if you wont negotiate. this place is highway robbery you are better off downloading your games online or going through eBay I personally will never come here again

Negative experience: As a small business owner myself we wanted to support these guys over Gamestop. My husband called about a trade in and the employee did not check the value, and just threw out a number. When we told him that gamestop said it was a little more than he had quoted he had the audacity to tell us to "go there then" We spend a lot of money on games and consoles between my Husband and son. Unfortunately we gave our business to gamestop yesterday instead of these guys due to the lack of customer service and disrespect from this employee. I hope for the sake of your business you don't keep that guy around who is turning your business else wear and giving the worst customer service. Do better.

Fantastic experience: Really cool game store, has a ton of retro games. The staff is very friendly, be cool to them and they will be cool with you mentality not a “customers always right” type of store and I respect that. So anyone complaining about staff more than likely were acting entitled. Oh and for the ones complaining about not getting high enough trade in value, you do realize no one is forcing you to trade in your games there, right? Also this is a business, they have to make money on your trades, overall it’s up to you if you want to trade it in or not. So quit your complaining for a choice that you made. Anyway, this is a very nice retro games store if you are into retro gaming and I’m sure you will find something you enjoy and maybe some nostalgia as well

Negative experience: My husband and I started coming to Fallout games when we were in our teens. As we’ve grown older this specific location has become a bad taste in our mouth. Some of their employees are lacking customer service and just overall have a shitty attitude/personality. No need to rain on other people’s parades with that negativity. We’ve started purchasing at their other locations in the valley even though this location is only two minutes from our home which is really disappointing .

Negative experience: Bought two games here, one copy of Legendary Starfy for DS and a copy of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for 3DS. The DS cartridge turned out to be a fake, and made both of my DS consoles unable to read my real games. Now I need to try and fix my consoles myself.

Fantastic experience: These guys are great, their prices are fair for what it's worth and their staff is very helpful. This place also has one of the biggest stock of PS2 games if you're in the market for that. I bought a rare mint ps1 game that was CIB for a good price. Very much recommend these guys

Been surprised a few times just finding good PS2/1 games sitting on the shelf. Also they offer cleaning/resurfacing discs.

Fantastic experience: These guys have always been very good to me. I have made many purchases from here and have been satisfied every time. Today when I went in with my younger daughters, these guys at the store showed my girls amazing kindness and were able to help find the Paw Patrol game that they wanted! Negative experience: I’ve come here twice this week and each time has been very unpleasant. The staff seems irritated that you are in there, let alone asking to look at any of the products. I do not recommend.

"Mike" was amazing, he's the only one there and the place was pretty full of people, he was being torn in every direction and STILL managed to get my rather large trade in done quick. Fantastic experience: I come here with my 11 year old son about once a month or so and everyone is always incredibly patient with him. They always go above and beyond when we come in and answer all of my son’s questions and there are always many, many questions.

Fantastic experience: Really awesome place !! I’ve been here before and it never disappoints. The service here is always amazing and the selection is awesome. It’s honestly a place I’ve recommended to all my friends who are ever looking for a game or controllers. They sell everything from Nintendo 64 games and controllers and systems to the Wii dance dance revolution floor button mat. It’s amazing how much they have. I came in to replace the battery on my PSP and they had some new ones I could purchase. The prices are also very fair and know that when you purchase here you’re keeping a small business in business and helping the rest of the community have access to games in a fun and welcoming place.

Negative experience: This guy named Max was really rude I didn't know it was closed didn't check the time but the door open and got a rude response saying we're closed. So I just told him I needed to get a controller real quick and I actually got yelled at. So that's how you treat customers. Never coming to this location again.

Fantastic experience: A little busy when I arrived, but perfect customer service, amazing selection, and no issues with a very old used PS3 I bought. Even came with a warranty and OEM controller. Highly recommend fallout games.

Negative experience: I had originally given this place a 5 star review 6 years ago, but dang this place has changed. The staff here now is terrible. They have this cocky attitude to them, it's like they've reached high virgin status by working here I guess. I love coming here because I enjoy the atmosphere of video games but the staff just ruins it for me. Everytime I take trade-ins they're rude and make me feel like I'm inconveniencing them. The games and consoles are actually pretty well priced but in all honestly that's not enough anymore to keep me going back. I think I'll just buy my games online now like a majority of people. I'm not telling anyone to not go here, but if you want to be treated kindly and genuine I would recommend going anywhere else. Also they're very wasteful here. I wanted to be nice and donate some game cases and manuals for possible loose games they may have and the curly haired white dude with glasses literally just threw them away in front of me. Pretty sad.

Positive experience: Great little shop that has amazing nostalgic gaming systems, wires, controllers, gameboys and ps1-5. If u can think it, then it is most likely there. Would have given 5 stars except the manager is very miserable and not a people person, which is very much needed when dealing with games that make ppl happy.

Negative experience: Review score would be higher because they have genuinely good selections and deals on retro games, except every time I go in, and deal with the manager, (Keith?) He always seems very dismissive and like he doesnt like his job. I've only made a few purchases but each visit has left kind of a bad taste in my mouth. The first time i visited, ,I asked him to hold a game till the next dat, which he did, which was great honestly . I asked if I needed to let another employee know he was holding it for me, and got a little snippy saying that he was the manager, acting like I should have known. Today 1/4/2024, he did discount a game for me. because the case for it was gross, but not before telling me it was priced wrong in their system and seeming upset about that. I Even offered to pay for the actual price of the disc, and he just looked annoyed. Unsure if ive just gone in on some bad days, or something but its super disappointing to not feel welcomed and doesnt make me eager to go back.

Fantastic experience: Really good inventory of all generations of video games. Lots of consoles and accessories. The most transparent transaction I think I've ever had buying used games. One of the games I was going to purchase had a disc and case that were different variants of the same game. Most people probably wouldn't care but I do and he told me before sneaking in a non matching disc. I really appreciated that. Most people would just throw a disc in there to make the sale. I really appreciate the transparency. Would definitely go again.

Positive experience: Usually friendly, sometimes can have good conversation. Occasionally staff will be snotty, but not always. They really get bent out of shape if you have any negative experience with hyperkin, and sometimes their advice isn't always the most accurate. Otherwise, the game selection has good rotation and occasionally you get good deals when they sell something they don't know the value of.

Has a bunch of games...... no consoles for them especially Gameboys and ds.also selling a very horrible condition 2ds for 100$ looks like a toddler had it which I find ridiculous. Clerk stated I won't find it cheaper anywhere else when I asked if they can do 80 for it , tbh I did find it cheaper somewhere else. Will never stop by again. Maybe you guys should negotiate your used consoles better then maybe you will have better reviews.

Fantastic experience: I stopped by to sell some games. This was my first visit. I was taken back the the number of games there were, new and used. So many games and consoles. The employee that helped me was very nice, polite and helpful and explained how everything works. The whole process took about 20 minutes. He was pretty fast and knew how to process everything. So I was happy with what they offered me and I was out the door with money and receipt in hand. I will definitely go back next time I have more games to sell and or shop.

Positive experience: Bought a game and found out it was defective, wouldn’t play. Brought it back the next day and was given store credit instead of a refund. I understand store credit for returns but the item was broken it should’ve warranted a full refund. The workers were very kind and helpful other than that.
