Negative experience: It says the store hours are from 10am to 9 pm i for here exactly at 11 am because I wanted to buy my nephew a gift for his birthday which is coming up and the person working and opening up the store took her set time

Negative experience: If I could rate 0 stars I would. Very unprofessional. This store does not honor the CLEARLY stated (on packaging AND receipt) 30 day exchange policy of a pre owned item. The manager Jackie (who was not there) was extremely unhelpful when we spoke to her on the phone. I contacted the Game Stop hotline and the representative said the store SHOULD honor the exhange. The rep even spoke to the employee Gabriel and his response was " his store is under stress and if he exchanges it...his store would get flagged." Don't even bother with this store. Take a small drive down to the Monterey Park location...no problems there what so ever.

Negative experience: I wanted to make a trade in. I have 4 games their cost more then $20 and I wanted to trade for 1 game that costs $15. Person who works on this store counted my games for $8 and suggest me pay $9 for change. Eventually my games cost $6.

Negative experience: Well, they don’t answer calls, I suggest to not even try. When go into store is not even busy.

And maybe the new hire would be a better fit for Manager as my interaction with him was very pleasant and professional dispite the fact he was training. This store needs to revamp there crew.

Negative experience: I'm out of state and placed an order for pickup for a friend who lives local to this Gamestop. Tried multiple times to call to cancel the order since it turns out friend already had the game. They never pick up and seems like the phone is off the hook the other times, so I guess my only option is waiting for the order pickup to time out in a week. Very inconvenient around the holidays. The Gamestops in my area always answer the phone and I've never had this issue.

Fantastic experience: I have received great customer service every time I have been to this location and love looking at all the collectible stuff. Parking lot is small so you might want to find street parking.

Fantastic experience: This particular branch has some of the friendliest employees I've met! They listen to customers and may even have small talk, which makes the experience very comforting. The store itself has been renovated and looks better. As with any branch, limited customers are still allowed inside at one time, but that goes for most in-store visits. There is also only one register working for the time being, just for future reference, which means more wait time...though not too much. I can recommend this branch to anyone wanting to visit Gamestop, especially considering I've been visiting this one for over eighteen years!

Negative experience: The guy who “helped” me really doesn’t care about the customer. Even though everywhere online and talking to other stores they said they Price Match this guy says they don’t. Then conveniently they all of a sudden don’t have the game even thought there are two on the shelf, the other store I came from said they had 3 as well as online and now this. The lady manager is super dope and always willing to help but they goth looking dude there is the worst. GameStop already has a bad rep…. This dude adds to it.

Negative experience: Attempted to contact this Store multiple times as we were told by other stores that the Cesar Chavez location was the only one that had Both Game and Kontrol Freeks we were looking for. Not once did they answer, we kept getting the answering service which states they were busy with other customers. I've had issues with this store in the past as well so I figured they were just ignoring the phone as usual. When we got to the store it was EMPTY... so why couldn't they answer the phone?? Once we got there more customers came in and a Man and Woman finally came out of the back room. Like seriously you were back there the whole time, the store was empty and you couldn't answer the phone I'm only giving this place 2 stars because they had what I needed but I will never Order or Pre-Order anything from this store. They are truly unprofessional this is also based on my last experience with them which was a pre-ordered item which I got almost 2months after the initial date I was supposed to get. They had said to wait for a call which I never got. I had to go talk to them in person 2 times since they never answer, to ask about my item until I finally got it...2 months later! If you are going to buy something they have at the store at the moment that's ok but do not pre-order. Also the parking is not the greatest just if you were curious about that.
