Fantastic experience: I stop here today for some nice nostalgia. When browsing I bought a Christmas-themed Capybara plush with a super cute design. A gentleman named Sohomski was very helpful. He maintained a professional attitude while taking my order but wasn’t afraid to share his pleasant opinion. He was well-informed about the GameStop Pro program, breaking down the details in a simple way and making sure to ask if I had any questions during my visit. He demonstrated excellent customer service. I’ll definitely come back and visit more often to check on the plushes and bags. I highly recommend this store. It was also very clean and incredibly well organized.

Negative experience: Never answers the phone at the location. Been to the store several times in person. It is always empty from customers never going. Why can they not pick up phone calls at this location?

Negative experience: Shockingly terrible place, shockingly bad prices. Went in to purchase a single switch joy-con usually priced at $40, they only had a refurbished one which he was trying to charge $45! For a used refurbished one! More expensive than a brand new one?! I had just been to another game stop where they were selling a refurbished one for $35! This is not the first time - they seem to make up the prices… IF (and I seriously do not recommend) you go into this GameStop check online first and also check best buy which is next door, also a better GameStop is in the Santa Anita mall

Negative experience: Drove 30 minutes to make a purchase and this guy was closing at 6:17PM when on Google Maps shows they close at 7PM, update your hours so you don’t waste people’s time.

Negative experience: This store is trash. I went in to get the promotion that if you spent $15 on pokemon product you got a game stop stamped card, but was not able to because the overweight lady, Casey, was only saving them for her regulars. She claimed it was specific to her store. Babes, it's a corporate store. We don't live in a fantasy world where you make up your own rules. Terrible customer service.

Negative experience: I don't know about this location, I was raised in Pasadena so I've always used this location but it's always been a coin flip whether you're gonna get good service.I used to drive out of my way to go to the Duarte location because their service was so good But Sadly that location has shut down. It so hard to get ahold of someone on the phone.i just wish this location was was more on top of it

Negative experience: Sell extremely scratched unplayable used games. Gas isn't cheap to be driving back and forth to return. Should be inspected and tested before sold.

Negative experience: I will never again set foot in a Game Stop. My kids and I found some games we wanted, sticker prices were good, but when they rang us up the prices didn't match. I was expecting about $35 for the two games but the total showed around $70. Manager said they go based on the website prices. Either don't put price stickers on your games or be sure to update them when prices change.

Gamestop is a joke, $25 per box X 4 boxes but end up 15 boxes plus wasted gas for driving 15 places and fill up gas twice of $145. Gamestop company should be ashamed themselves for destroying customer pockets. Guys are fine, just policy is dirt

Positive experience: My nephew wanted an X BOX ONE for his birthday. Best buy had one for $300. Game stop had a used one for $159 so we got it and a game. The kid couldn't be happier. Also, the people are nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Kym greeted me as soon as I went in and when I mentioned I just purchased my console she congratulated me. I asked about pre-owned games and she recommended several titles that I might enjoy. The store itself is rather small, but you don't really need a whole lot of space for this kinda thing. Parking should be relatively easy, especially on a weekday, try the Metro parking garage just south of Foothill on Halstead if you otherwise can't deal with it.

Fantastic experience: Originally I purchased a faulty used controller and expected the store to be a stickler about getting my cash back due to internet horror stories about gamestop. Turns out they were super understanding and the store leader ( I feel so bad i forgot her name) was super kind and helped me get my money back, definitely will come back again soon!

Positive experience: It's small and a bit cluttered. Otherwise it's just a standard GameStop. Nothing special unless you love brick and mortar stores for buying games.

Positive experience: Great location, and not always the most helpful or friendly or knowledgeable people on games or systems. Price wise on used games, can be pricey. But for the new stuff, they aren't any cheaper then the competition.

Positive experience: The ladies here knows the games pretty well. They know their stores inventory and is able to tell you first hand whether or not they have a product. The store is pretty small so the assortment isn't that big. Nothing out of the ordinary here, just another standard game stop.

Positive experience: Went in to ask if the store stocked the Nvidia Shield. The girl at the front looked bored and uninterested in helping me, and was curt when asked a simple question. - Which in turn made me wonder if she was capable of good customer service, or if she was maybe ill or on the rag, or maybe there was perhaps troubles in her virtual sex life. A mystery we may never solve. (Seriously, save yourself the trouble and buy vidya games on amazon you fool.)

Negative experience: Wow, this particular game stop is so crooked, that I can't bear going into the place. Since my son has loved other game stops in the past, I'll let him browse here, but he is strictly required to actually purchase his items at the Best Buy next door. Problems in the past: 1. Salesmen state that the Wii Motion Plus controller is available with Sports Resort ONLY IF you preorder. 2. Prices higher than at Best Buy next door, usually on the newest games. 3. Preorder ScribbleNauts to receive the chicken hat. 40 people have preordered, only 10 chicken hats delivered; the remaining 30 people are SOL. 4. Salesmen promise to "look into things and call" and never do. The list goes on and on... We've shopped at other Game Stops for many years without a problem. Avoid this Game Stop in Hastings ranch at all costs. Buy at any other Game Stop or at the Best Buy next door.
