Negative experience: I booked a send-in service with them, but one guest canceled. They promised to refund the amount I paid, but I never received it. I haven't received an answer in the last two months either. I even reported it to the Internet Crime Complaint Center, but still no answer. It’s crazy how bad the support is, especially after they promised me last year that the poor support was only because of how busy they were at the end of the year. Now it’s worse, and I've been waiting for my money for six months. I am only willing to give them two stars instead of one because the part of my order that I received was quite good. However, the six-month wait time and poor customer service were awful. EDIT 12 April 2026: They blocked me on all their accounts because I asked in the Instagram comments when I would receive my refund. It's literally a scam now. So please be careful. That's why I changed my review to one star.

Negative experience: As the other user mentioned, I too, tried to go in the store during there opening hours, only to discover it was closed. No one let me in despite it being. I called them asking if they were open despite the doors locked, they said yes. When I told them why it's locked, despite them telling me it's open, they responded rudely to me. I would like to give them another chance, but with that rude attitude, it just made me bummed. I'm gonna look for some other game store, as others should.

Fantastic experience: I stopped by OG Collectibles in Downey the other day and honestly, it was a really good experience. The shop is clean and well-organized, which makes a big difference when you’re digging through cards. They’ve got a strong mix of stuff: current Pokémon and Magic sets, plenty of sealed product, a decent vintage section, singles in binders, some sports cards, and even a bunch of Funko Pops lined up. The guy working there (long hair, laid-back vibe) was helpful without being over-the-top. He didn’t hover, but when I asked about a couple specific cards I’ve been looking for, he actually checked the back and came out with them. No pressure to buy, just straightforward. The woman behind the counter was friendly too, answered my questions about grading and pricing without making me feel like a total newbie. Prices seemed reasonable for the area, nothing crazy inflated like some spots in LA, and better than what I’ve seen online for certain things after fees and shipping. I ended up grabbing a few singles and a booster pack, spent more than I planned but walked out happy with what I got. It’s a legit, no-nonsense collectibles shop with a chill atmosphere. If you’re in the Downey area and into cards or pops, it’s definitely worth checking out. I’ll probably swing by again next time I’m nearby. Solid spot. 5 stars, no complaints.

Fantastic experience: OG Collectibles!! Is the kind of place that makes your inner 10-year-old and your grown-up collector brain shake hands and nod respectfully at each other. Walking in feels like stepping into a shrine built by people who actually care, not some sad shelf of bent blisters and overpriced nonsense. The selection is stacked. Cards are clean. Figures are legit. Displays are tight. Everything screams “we know what we’re doing.” The staff knows their stuff without talking down to you or hovering like mall security. You can ask real questions and get real answers, not vibes and guesses. Prices are fair, the atmosphere is chill, and the passion is obvious. This isn’t a shop trying to squeeze every dollar out of you. It’s a shop trying to build collectors for life. If you’re into cards, collectibles, nostalgia, or just enjoying a store run by humans with taste and standards, this is the spot. OG Collectibles isn’t just a store. It’s a safe haven from bad resellers, dusty junk, and disappointment. I’ll be back, and my wallet already knows it.

Negative experience: I bought a bunch of stuff online from him and they sent me only 1 item (a wii manual?!) that i didnt even order. when i asked about it, they never responded.

Fantastic experience: I've met Anna Jay, Sting, Saraya and Trish @ OG Collectibles. The events might lasts 2 to 4 hours. You have to buy admission. You buy time. Then you buy auto/pic/both. You can buy ahead of time or buy day of. Cash/card/Google wallet/pay is accepted. Paying with card/Google pay/wallet will add extra to the overall price. Unless you buy the opening time, which is the most expensive, you will not go at your time, especially if you buy GA instead of front of the line.

Negative experience: This place sucks and when I tried to go in it was closed and no one was letting me in even though it was open

Fantastic experience: Came from out of town for a autograph signing event and it was a fun experience the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me for my disability they have fair pricing and have an awesome array of pops cards and other collectibles I was told you can do psa certifications through them which I will definitely go back for soon. overall I strongly recommend anyone that was not sure about attending the events here to go ahead and make it happen you won’t be disappointed!

Their signings are some of the best in the area, and it's worth visiting. You can't find business owners who are as professional and cool to interact with. Best service! Never had any issues with their signing events.

Negative experience: Screw this place. I left two POPs here for a signing event, I picked them up and realized that one was damaged. I knew this damage happened at their store because I took pictures of the mint condition PoPs when I dropped them off. The owner Oscar tells me that he has some spares that were signed but I would have to come back for them. He tells me to come back on another day that is another signing event. I come back on that day and try to explain to the staff that I’m not here for the signing event I’m just here to pick up some pops, the staff very rudely tells me to get into a very long line.. again I was not there for the singing event. Eventually I make my way to the front and explain that I’m following the owners instructions and just coming back to pick up a spare PoP since mine was given back to me damaged. After some more confusion eventually I am let in and told to come back another day. I didn’t see the owner Oscar that day.. So again I come back, this time I do see the owner Oscar and he gives me the spare signed pop although it was not the signature I originally requested. The owner then proceeds to tell me that one of his employees told him I was being rude and making a scene and I that because of that I am banned from any future events. I was shocked to hear this.. sure there was some confusion but I certainly never made any scene. The irony here is that this could’ve been avoided if the owner didn’t tell me to come back during a very busy fan event. So, bewildered by what he is saying I ask him.. What exactly did someone say I said or did? And he couldn’t even answer that question lol So let me get this straight… Your staff damages a Pop I left at your store for a signing event… then you tell me to come back to pick up a spare during another extremely busy fan event.. when I get there your staff is very rude to me and nobody is willing to understand that I’m not there for the fan event but to pick up… so after being inconvenienced twice now you ask me to come back again.. and when I do I end up with a pop that has a different quote signature than the one I originally requested that your staff damaged then you tell me I’m banned from future events… but you cannot tell me exactly what I said or did to justify being banned? And prior to this I had several interactions with you and your staff where I was perfectly polite LOL screw you! and this store.

Negative experience: Now the reason I give these gentlemen these 2 stars is I’ve brought numerous electronics for repair a gameboy pocket, xbox1 controller, Pokémon silver, starfox64 and the white ps1…now out of all that I only received the controller and mind you guys this has been now over a year the weekend before Carlos got married. The brothers are very fair business men pricing is ok but every time I go to the now it’s empty that’s why I longer go as often but guys hopefully this sees you and you guys decide to fix this if not ill take the loss if your store ain’t doing so good let know.

Positive experience: I came here looking for Supernatural pops and I was actually surprised they had 2 diff ones in stock. Of course I bought them but I do admit I paid more than I'd thought to pay. The guy there did have to go back to the computer to check "the price." The guy was friendly and mentioned they get new stuff everyday though. Place has alot of Funko Pops, Pokémon cards, some VHS, and some anime stuff.

Negative experience: Don’t get me wrong this place is cool and all but what’s annoying is when you go in store and see something you’d like and ask about a pricing and the employees or the main owners of the place respond is that they don’t know or having to look for a price for the item… why have it out on the shelves and not in the back room it’s just ridiculous

Positive experience: Decent shop so far only issue was when i called to see if they have skate 2 xbox 360 ive done CSR but when a customer names the game and console they prefer not to be offered a trash alternative ( skate 3 ) employee couldve said no but tried for a sale with a god awful recommendation 3 out of 5 cause they did not do this when i searched for my copy of GH3

Fantastic experience: Last month, I used the send-in service that OG Collectibles frequently has for voice actors. Everything went awesome on their end, but the postal service ended up losing my package (surprise, surprise). The owner was very helpful and aware of the situation despite how busy they were. In the end I was issued a refund. I give them 4 stars just on communication and helpfulness alone. Would be 5 if USPS didn't lose my package. Edit 9/12/23: Changed my rating to 5 stars, the package somehow arrived, and it's exactly what I wanted! Def check this place out for their send-in service. Fast and efficient!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to events at OG Collectibles for over a year now and I seriously wish other places would take note. Yes, they have a super cool store front with lost of great products like funko pops, pokemon cards, video games and other nerdy trinkets, but they have made a name for themselves as THE store, that host the best autographs in SoCal. From the sheer amount of signing events (which seem to happen every 3-4 week's which is wild) to the ease of not having to wait hours in line and to the professional and friendly team who make sure to take things seriously, without taking it TO seriously, they've made a system where every Anime grapher in the area knows and respects them. Even their drop off and send in option is handled with great care. They've helped me complete some posters and prints that I've been working on for years, so I always look forward to announcements. Let's hope they continue to grow and do bigger and better things! I'll be there! THANKS OSCAR AND EVERYONE AT OG :D

Negative experience: DONT SELL YOUR STUFF HERE!! They will rip you off! They’ll buy your stuff give you close to nothing for it. They will then put on their shelves for unreasonable prices. One of the brothers that own the shop has such a bad attitude as well. This shop fell from grace, use to sell their products for a decent price and buy stuff for a decent price. Ever since they got voice actors coming in their ego and prices sky rocketed! Use to be a customer who comes weekly. Never returning unfortunately.
