Fantastic experience: I went to get 2 PS5 Controllers repaired, both had bad stick drift. Each cost $35 dollars and they only accept cash for repairs, just as an FYI. The staff was so kind, and they communicated with me very clearly the costs and time to complete the repair. It took a day to complete the repair, and both controllers are working perfectly! They told I have a 3 month warranty, which was a nice surprise! They also had a bunch of other cool classic games and systems! I also ended up buying a Nintendo DS Lite as a gift, and it works perfectly. That I was able to buy that with a credit card. I will 100% go back for any future repairs and if I ever want to buy something classic.

Negative experience: Didn't even want to try to fix my switch which is crazy I asked her if there was any way but she offered me to buy a used one instead, they have lot's of things but I'm just not happy for what happened.

Negative experience: had so many broken items that she was trying to sell, and when I asked her about the return policy that was on the back of the computer she started to lie about it, a lot of the Ds and PsP were overpriced as well to a crazy amount: but the chargers were rusted and clearly not going to turn on. I asked some questions about the products and got super technical about them to make sure I was buying something properly and she started to lie to me and talk bad about me in Korean to her husband saying I was too nosy but i understand Korean 100% so that was really rude: other then that a vary cute store has a lot of rare things that are hard to find but the prices can be crazy and be careful when asking questions she will get a little sassy and mean

She's the only person I know who does specifically d-pad repairs for PS4 controller in LA at a very reasonable price and she has tons of video game accessories for both old and new generation consoles to boot. Fantastic experience: I was referred to this shop from UBreakIFix because they claimed that their controller repair service would be more expensive compared to Game & Video. I went ahead and gave it a chance. I wanted my RT trigger and both joystick drifts repaired on my Elite Controller 2. I paid $80 for the repair. ;-) I know, it seems silly considering I could easily get the Core Elite controller or the regular XBOX controller (or maybe two of the regular XBOX controllers, depending on the sale!), but that controller I had fixed is important to me. I'm glad to have gone there! Maybe next time, I'll try the World-8 nearby and check out the price comparison. ;-) Great job on the fix!

Negative experience: Not exactly sure what's going on here. Previously I brought my switch in. Because it needed a new battery. They charged me $65 to replace the battery (they provided the battery) Ok cool. Fast forward to 6 months later. I brought in my PS Vita. Because one of the joysticks broke. They quoted me $95 to replace one joystick. $125 if I replaced both The worst part is I brought my own parts. I ordered new replacement joysticks and brought them in. And they still wanted $95. Which is insane. They must have thought I was dumb or was trying to rob me. No way I was going to be them $95. For ONE joystick replacement. And I supplied the part. I could buy another vita for $120. Why would I pay them $95? Just stupid all together I took the same vita and replacement joystick down the street and it was done for $30.. same day Never coming back here again. Greed and probably a bad gambling debt made them lose a customer. No thanks

Positive experience: This post is for price transparency purposes only. PS Vita single joystick repair without parts (parts were already purchased) is $95. Was able to get it for $30 plus an extra $20 for a rush job. Took an hour and the joystick works great. Do your due diligence and don't let a 4.9 rating have you thinking this is the only place to get repairs done

Positive experience: I got a PS5 controller, PS4, and PS5 cleaned and repaired here. I can say fully I’m happy with how clean the systems are and how they work however my PS5 came back to me with VERY noticeable scratches and scruffs. The white plates on the PS5 are not the hardest thing to scuff up but these scratches are deep and some scuffs go down to the black plastic/past the white coating. The services weren’t a bad price, and they were fast but I have to think that if they could mess up the outside so easily on a system that ONLY needed cleaning and never left my apartment what could have been done to the inside. I’m not super upset about the plates, I’m more upset that it wasn’t addressed and the doubt casted on of there is damage like that to the inside. Gina was very friendly!

I got my Nintendo switch charging port fixed in just a couple days. Honest about the cost from the start. I wanted to repair my old PS2 but was told by the woman (I regret not getting her name but she is lovely!) it wasn’t worthwhile since the laser seemed to be broken so I ended up purchasing another used one and she made sure it worked and everything. Wonderful customer service and will definitely be going back for some old games! Definitely recommend for your nostalgic video game needs!

Fantastic experience: Super satisfied with their customer service and speedy fixes! My pup got ahold of my dual sense edge and I thought I was doomed to spend another 200$ for the controller. Reached out to multiple stores and everyone said that they did not reshell any of the more premium controllers. Until Game & Video saved the day. They told me that I would be the first DSE controller they’ve repaired but they were willing to research on the repair and took my number to reach out to me when they felt confident about taking it on. They did an amazing job with reshelling the controller and repairing my R2. Would always recommend them to anyone in the west lake/ktown area!

Fantastic experience: Hello everyone I have to say I enjoy going to games & Video. Been a loyal customer for a good couple of years or so. Two days ago I went in for a repair job for my PS5. A picture frame slam into the HDMI plug ruined my ps5 HDMI. So my PS5 no longer showing any pictures. I was getting different amounts on how much it will cost to repair this thing. At that point I was like debating if I should just buy a new PS5 and just give up on this one. if I send it to PlayStation themselves, they were asking 330+ tax and other places were asking for 250 to 300 for repairs. The owner of shop that was running the shop and she gave me an amount for $180 for repairs. Not only that they even throw in a cleaning of dust buildup and replace the thermal liquid in my PS5. I gave my PS5 on Thursday doing the afternoon and she gave it back to me on Friday night! I was expecting to wait maybe Saturday or Monday. A fast repair and return time! I am quite satisfied since last time I came here for a repair job. They fixed up my PS4 pretty easily for $100 for a damage laser reader for the disc drive. They also have a good amount of games that some people might enjoy having, ps4, ps5, Xbox 360, Wii, switch and many more. I highly recommend coming by in and looking around. I highly recommend swinging by and checking out their huge collection of games and offers. Even last week, Ingot myself a copy of Stella blade for them! Please check them out as it’s the few video game stores in LA isnt a GameStop.
