Fantastic experience: Expert help
Negative experience: Came in to buy two used games totaling $30. When the gentleman at the desk rang me up he tacked on a pro membership and 2-year guarantees for each game without asking me and my total was $65. I told him to take them off, but it felt sneaky and I did not appreciate it.
Fantastic experience: Eos was Amazing!!! It was very busy and he acknowledged everyone. He was very knowledgeable and helpful made our experience a so much more. We will be back to this location.
Negative experience: bad experience unfortunately. won't be shopping games at game stop in the future.
Positive experience: one of my favorite gs stores. many options and great customer service. probably why it's one of the busiest stores. they were very professional and kind when someone brought in a product but they insisted on getting cash rather than store credit when the item didn't fully have a complete package. kudos to them for being patient and professional in a very uncomfortable situation.

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite Gamestop just because the staff members here are SO friendly. It is not even in my neighborhood, but I visit this area at least once a week, so I pre order games at this store unless i need it digital. Game wise, it is a decent sized store with popular games in stock. The parking lot is huge, i am glad i dont need to worry about parking at this store. Hope gamestop doesnt go out of business or something because i do enjoy coming to gamestop stores, chat with staff members and get my physical copies of games.
Negative experience: They need to do something about the employees saving pokemon event cards for themselves or friends because there is no way they ran out so quickly yesterday when I stopped by around 11am
Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at this store. I spent over $600 in one visit, including a pre-owned Nintendo Switch OLED. The staff was friendly and explained the versions and I chose the OLED, but what I actually received was the LCD version, I noticed it two days later after watched a youtube video. When I contacted support, they basically said there was nothing they could do. So I lost money, even with the receipt in hand. Very disappointing and unfair — I expected honesty from a company like GameStop, but instead I was left at a loss.
Positive experience: Not good with customer service when I walked in the store but was a bit helpful when I was in front of them..don't know if it was the way I looked or what..but if you are going to be kind with people walking in be it with everyone else don't pick and choose thanks...

Negative experience: I went to this store to buy the GameCube game Lord of the Rings: Return of the King to play on my actual GameCube. I also asked for a GameCube-specific controller so I could play it in multiplayer mode. Despite clearly requesting a GameCube controller, the staff sold me a Nintendo Switch controller and assured me it was compatible. When I got home and opened the box, I realized it was not compatible, and there was no adapter included. I called the store immediately and was told to come back the next day when a manager would be available to help. I returned the next day, only to be told they couldn’t do anything because the box was opened—even though I only opened it because they told me it would work with my system. They knowingly sold me the wrong item and then refused to refund it, despite the fact that I explained the mistake was entirely theirs. It feels like intentional deception. They took my money under false pretenses and then smiled as they told me they "couldn’t help." This is dishonest, unethical, and unacceptable.
Negative experience: Well, their policy need to change and fast, I came to buy a game for a friend ( I do not have knowledge in video games) in game cube console and they gave me a great game (LOTR) also I was asking for a controller for the game cube and they were so nice to say that they have it. I have it to my friend as a b-day gift but the controller was for switch and not for the game cube which I asked for specifically, even though the box is brand new wasn’t used and only open they can’t take it back even if it was their recommendations. So sad GameStop , the only store with apparently non-return policy. Will never buy there again and will never recommend.

Negative experience: I bought a used Nintendo Switch at this GameStop about 3 months ago for $250. I only used it once and took great care of it. Today, I came in to trade it in, and they refused to accept it — no explanation, no real help. It was frustrating, especially considering I originally bought it from this same location. I expected at least some flexibility or clearer communication. Disappointed with the service.
Negative experience: I’ve been Calling this store for 2 days straight and not only did they never pick up, they unhooked there phone so now my calls aren’t going through at all! I’m trying to get help with pick up order! I want to cancel it and for some reason it’s not letting me do so on the website! This is my last time ordering everything from GameStop online or otherwise! The customer service is trash and I better get my money back
Positive experience: The worker was very nice and she fixed the problem but everytime i come into this stop there is always trouble for me or other customers, she added waranty to my order even after i said i didnt want anything else, never asked if i wanted it, i know its only a dollar or so but still.l, i give this gamestop a 3 stars closer to a 2 then a 4
Negative experience: None of the employees know anything about anything they’re super unprofessional and like chit chat when your in the middle of trying to talk to them like they all seem mentally ill - meanwhile i buy a game and they tack on the warranty without asking me they are so pushy about that stuff at the store - i ask them to return it and they say no it’s too late - so they just straight up steal from you and ask you if you want to be a member like 50 times. Gamestop is so horrible now - they also wouldn’t take my online return until i spent an hour on hold with online in the store and then they suddenly COULD take my return.
Negative experience: I took an Xbox in there they only gave me $53 for it, wow friend of mine who is part of the LGBT community went in and got $115 for it advise you not go to this location they pick and choose who they want to help
Negative experience: Tried calling 25 minutes before close to let them know I was likely to pull up 1-2 minutes before close, but I knew exactly what I wanted. They didn't bother to answer the phone at all, and by the time I rolled up at 7:55pm, the door was locked, and gates were pulled shut. Bad way to be available for what little loyal following they have left.

Positive experience: I have procured many a packs from this establishment and have unsealed a great many as well, yet not a single grand prize "hit" hath been revealed unto me from any such lot, this all being in matters pertaining to Pokémon.... Verily, I find myself sorely disheartened by these most lamentable results! "Yet, in the matter of sheer abundance, I must confess that I have indeed amassed a most prodigious quantity of Pokémon cards from this very place—an amount most worthy of note. However, as fate would have it, from the time of Christmastide until this present hour, there hath been a most grievous and vexing dearth in the Pokémon department, a scarcity so dire and unrelenting as to border upon the realm of a nightmare itself. I do bestow upon this establishment a rating of three yellow stars, no more and no less, for such is the measure of mine esteem. Nevertheless, I do extend my recommendation to those who would seek to procure their wares here, yet I bid thee exercise due caution in thy dealings.

Friendly guy and remembers the first time I met him carrying a new tv in one hand while purchasing my ps4 and placing it under my injured arm so could get home to play it! Each visit thereafter is a thrill for me because of it! He tells the tale about me to staff and patrons which is cool in my opinion

Negative experience: Bad experience. Went here after work. Wanted to pick up a game. The very friendly worker looked up the game on their computer. He said the store to the north, in Lancaster several miles away has it. I drove 10 minutes out of my way. I got to the store, only to find out the the Palmdale location worker searched for the wrong game. Gamestop wasted over a half hour of my time. I ended up buying thr game from Amazon. Forget Gamestop, Amazon is now my go to place.

Fantastic experience: Raymond with the Mullet was super helpful. After being denied my warranty by some kid at the location by Wilshire/Vermont; They told me to come to this store. Not only did they honor my warranty. He double checked and called customer service and verified that we did have a warranty on my controller. Only went to the other place because it was closer but will be coming here from now.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here today. I came in looking for a new Xbox headset and DANIEL helped me out. He took his time and answered all my questions. With him being the Lone Ranger on the floor he crushed customer service during the lunch rush. Give that man a raise. Having worked retail I know the pressure of being alone on the floor during the rush and he handled it perfectly. He’s a prime example of how GameStop employees should conduct themselves. Will be back again!
Negative experience: I see this game and paying i was told price is $69.99, of course i cancel the other games. Months ago i saw prices on internet for the store and i was told the price is only valid online. Now i mostly buy online. If this continue Gamestop will keep losing costumers.

Negative experience: Came in today around 8:12 pm (9/5/2023) and Supposedly they don’t accept trade ins after 8 pm. Pretty disappointing, I had multiple consoles and a lot of games to trade in, and was ready to drop at least $700 on a new xbox series x and some games. I guess they don’t want business so I won’t give it to them. Won’t be coming back to this location. I didn’t know the employees were allowed to make up store policies because I don’t see anywhere that they stop accepting trade ins at 8 pm.
Negative experience: Called before purchasing a PS5 and they confirmed they could assist me before closing. I arrived at 4:58 (5pm closing time) after racing over and they said they couldn’t let me in since their policy is no sales after closing and they still had two transactions in front of me. He then suggested I try Best Buy. Not happy with the experience and super frustrated. I’ll spend $500+ elsewhere, thanks for the recommendation.

Negative experience: Went to the front desk to ask if they have a particular game in stock. Two employees behind the counter, were just standing around gossiping. They quickly said no they're out of stock. I went to another game stop to try and see if they had it, they did a computer stock search, turns out this location had about 60 copies of the game I wanted, and they didn't even bother checking.
Negative experience: Preordered a pop and they gave it away before I could get there to pick mine up. Employee seemed really smug about it and laughed.
Fantastic experience: Every member of the team at this store is knowledgeable and friendly. The policies at GS are better now also. They have a 7 day return for trade offer on used games if you dont like it.
Fantastic experience: Very cool knowledgeable staff! Carlos has a great team of people that care about satisfaction of the customer. The store is clean and has a following of regular customers including myself that shop there. A very convenient location demographically placed in a high traffic sidewalk plaza. Plenty of choices in the plaza to find a quick bite to eat. My favorite store within walking distance. Have been shopping here for more than a couple of years now and have never been disappointed with each visit. *Update - I was able to call ahead to see if a particular game was in stock like I have always done in the past. The representative Jessie was able to find me a copy and place it to the side for only a very short time until I arrived. I happen to live less than 5 minutes away and because he remembered me was able to help me and my daughter complete our transaction. I love the service and all of the staff who work there. It is always and enjoyable experience whether I'm just browsing or there to purchase. They also have added more cool collectibles to choose from. And from many different genres too!❤

When finally checking out, game stop tells us that the items we have chose are not for sale but why were they for sale in the first place. They had Monday's sales still up and it's Thursday. Fantastic experience: I wish I knew the employee's name who helped me out but this is definitely a good spot to get all your gaming needs met. They answered all my questions and told me about their special deals, offers and trade-ins. Also the gentleman at the counter had many suggestions for me on how to sell all my items that they no longer accept due to it either being incomplete or out of date. I really can't complain and I'm grateful for the attention to detail that was given to all of my needs.
