Negative experience: Went in today and the place was completely empty. Only one person was working. Asked for help but he was busy. Waited 20 minutes. Walked right out. Disappointed experience.

Fantastic experience: Inconspicuous video game store that’s actually huge inside. Games from every platform available for purchase, tons of sealed copies too. I met the owner who was a really cool guy and he let me know that they frequently do events and tournaments there. I’ll definitely check it out sometime.

Fantastic experience: Come by here when they were having some event back in July. I could tell it was pretty hectic and the staff were quite busy. but even still they took the time to help me find what I wanted and have a friendly conversation as they rang me up. Prices were pretty fair so I have no complaints on that. but overall just because of how polite and welcoming the staff were, even during an event, I'd absolutely say it was worth it.

Negative experience: I was visiting from out of town and really looked forward to checking out this video game store. We arrived around 5 PM — a full two hours before their listed closing time of 7 PM (according to Google) — only to be met almost immediately by an employee who told us they were closing in a rude and dismissive tone. Although we were technically allowed to look around, the employee made it very clear we weren’t welcome. He rushed us the entire time, which made it impossible to properly browse or see what the store had to offer. The whole interaction felt unprofessional and uninviting. As someone who genuinely wanted to support a local business, this was a disappointing and frustrating experience. If your hours have changed, update them. And if you’re still open, treat your customers with basic respect. I’d recommend calling ahead if you’re thinking of visiting — and maybe being ready to walk out.

Fantastic experience: I love the people here specialty the community . It has an event in tournaments video games and voice actors and actress sign autographs, has cards tournaments and devs from video games inside and out about their upcoming video games. Support this company video game at the block in burbank. They do have video games swap meet events as well from awesome vendors.

Fantastic experience: Game Realms customer service is next level. I'm not local to the area but I've worked with them buying signatures from their voice actor events multiple times. The customer service and communication they provide is actually amazing and I can't say I've had many similar experiences working with a local store before. They go above and beyond and I can't recommend the store enough.

Fantastic experience: The only store in Burbank, with video games, family friendly events and swap meets. Game Realms has a wide selection of decently priced video games, console accessories, and game merch. They also host events like the retro swap meet, signings, smash bros tournaments, street fighter tournaments and more. They have social media that is consistently updated and even showcase pictures of awesome events and merchandise- if you're someone who loves video games and wants to get merch or signatures from your favorite voice actors, I highly recommend checking it out!

Fantastic experience: Fun spot for retro games and events! Maggie, who was working when we stopped in, was eager to help and happy to talk shop. The store layout makes it easy to browse and they have just about everything laid out so it's easy to see. Prices are marked on the box / cartridge and they also keep accessories and plushies for folks who like those. Their selection was pretty solid and had a fair bit of popular titles including modern games. They didn't have anything remarkably rare when we were there, but Maggie was really helpful in recommending other stores which might have the titles we were looking for. Overall, great customer service and their involvement with the local gaming / fandom community is awesome to see

Fantastic experience: Bought Paper Mario for Nintendo 64. My son's Paper Mario collection is complete. Employees were very helpful and friendly. They tested the game in their testing area, which was great before we decided to buy it. We had purchased the game elsewhere, but it didn't load up when we got home and had to return. So I'm glad they tested it for us

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Maggie for giving a great lesson on the Persona series and all around wonderful service. Really enjoyed talking to them and loved how much knowledge they had to share.

Fantastic experience: Pretty rad place for vidoe game needs. What set this place apart from game stores around the area is the space its slightly bigger then most places around the San Fernando Valley. They have a variety of games, retro, modern and even indies which is a nice touch. Aside from that they host a variety events. Examples being Meet & Greets with voice actors, a card playing day, small artist pops up and of course the fighting game tournaments that occur on Fridays. They also host Valley game swap which is basically a swap meet but with video games. As you can see there is a lot of variety and its a great place for a community to get together.

Fantastic experience: I was here for the voice cast signing of Spider-man 2 game, and it was a fun event. Well organized and very friendly staff. Tony Todd was super nice, and so was Yuri. JD, one of the organizers. He was super attentive and very accomdating with my sprain ankle. If you have special needs p, ease let the staff know. They will help you.

And then in the back they have a bunch of game cubes and tvs where you can actually game up for FREE! It’s a new thing they are doing I was told. Man I wish I lived in Burbank. Positive experience: It's a nice place to come and buy stuff but to sell they will give u very little money for the games like 25cents for a game that is worth 10 or a bit more but to buy games is good place to come two and worth it nice place especially when they have there events

Positive experience: The place is rather large inside with a lot of open space like a roller rink. Plenty of retro games, and limited run/special versions for sale. Occasionally have swap meets in the back which are fun to visit.

Fantastic experience: The store is very wide and open. Was looking for Dreamcast stuff mainly and they didn't disappoint. The fact that they have the maraca set for Samba de Amigo blew my mind. Something you never really see that often.

Negative experience: Walked an hour here just for the store and it was closed despite the open times online and in the window.

Fantastic experience: WOW Earlier I went in there earlier to pick up a game called “New Super Mario Bros Wii”. When I went in there earlier there was a lot of old consoles and I was pretty surprised and I love how there were all refurbished and had limited merch and amibos and someone told me about the console backstory and I learned how I can play Game cube games on the Wii and I never saw old console game’s this small. I hope I get to work here one day. Awesome store

Positive experience: Their selection is pretty great when it comes to their retro games selection. They also have really fun tournaments in their side room and every month they hold a video game swap meet. I have attended some of both and they are really fun. If your in the area you should stop by if they are having in event. I do have to give them a 4 stars out of 5 because their prices can be steep for some of their products.

Fantastic experience: Excelente estabelecimento para comprar jogos antigos, em especial os da Nintendo da geração 8 e 16 bits. Eles tem uma grande variedade de cartuchos disponíveis, há várias pérolas como Ninja Gaiden, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, entre outros. Inclusive trouxe o SMB3 para a minha coleção. Também há jogos para Xbox e Playstation. Outros itens incluem controles, cabos e consoles. O atendimento é muito bom, os preços são justos. Recomendo.

Negative experience: Decent selection (though N64 is lacking). Some things priced reasonably, others quite expensive. Usually positive and helpful, minus the time I was scolded for holding something that was totally out in the open and intended to buy as I continued to browse (How dare I do such a thing!). Instead of just informing me of the (strange) policy and asking if they could help me just check it out, they demanded I hand it back and them scurried off to the back with it. Left feeling like a scoundrel for doing something that is completely normal in 99% of stores. Unfortunately left a sour taste in my mouth.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 6 stars, I would! Staff is extremely friendly and courteous. I called inquiring about a phat model PS3 and spoke to Will. He was very generous with his time and didn't mind me asking a million questions. I went to the store and took my kids with me. They were very kind to them. Em, Joey and Maggie were fantastic! They're very knowledgeable about video games and the like. I was ecstatic with my purchase and will undoubtedly be back to purchase more product! Keep up the awesome work guys!

Positive experience: super cute store with awesome events and lots of cool video game merch! I really wish they had more retro Nintendo games (GameCube/Gameboy/DS/N64 in particular), but their selection is pretty limited. If they had more stuff then did then I would be there all the time haha. but it's still fun to go in and look around!

Negative experience: Staff was rude, I’ve never been treated like that at any game store I’ve ever gone to. Also, wanted to give us 12 cents for good games and $5 for an entire console - don’t waste your time.

Also I didn't really think it would be smart to engage with the staff after some girl who works there screamed at me for carrying around a framed street fighter artwork. I didn't realize everyone is considered a shop lifter who goes in there. Clean your cartridges.

Positive experience: Cute little game store with all sorts of fun stuff! They hold meet and greets every once in a while, so it's good to stay on top of the news. It can be expensive, more expensive than other stores nearby, but it's also a small local business that imports a lot of things from Japan. There's a lot of only one of a kind things that you can get in this specific store.

Fantastic experience: A large clean building that sells various video games from different consoles. I came to look for N64 game but the selection was small compared to the other types. However, they do have a large inventory of other Nintendo games, Xbox, and playstation games. They do appear to carry new releases as well. Game Realms also has a small selection of video game related merchandise including posters, soundtrack vinyl, T-shirt, pins, and plushies. The employees are very kind and helpful. In short, Game Realms is a wonderful used game shop.
