Negative experience: Alright where to begin first off employee was extremely rude Secondly they tried making the warranty less valuable and tried forcing me to get a used controller of way less value to what I bought so either GameStop just said screw our customers or there wrong either one looks bad on GameStop

Negative experience: Maybe it’s because I’m past a certain age that the kids working in the store would think I didn’t need any help at all. I was just in the same store two weeks ago brought my wife a switch and my son-in-law a video game about 600 bucks for Christmas. I believe the guy then at the time was the manager. He was super helpful even got me to sign back up for my points today unfortunately that was not the case. These kids are just talking amongst themselves while I’m looking over selections for like five minutes. I came in looking for a particular game and as I googled while I’m sitting in the store. I realize it’s not even out yet. I asked the girl at the counter if they had it before I googled it. She tells me she only has it on PS five even though I specifically said I want it for switch. I go back over to search for another selection for my wife find a game and approach the counter. I wanna trade in a particular game for in-store credit while I purchased this other game. The lady informed me that even though there’s three stickers on the face of his game saying it’s $50 it’s actually $59 really not a big deal but given the way that I’ve been treated I’m like yo is that my problem that it’s mislabeled because anywhere else you shop at you’re gonna get it for that $50 she tells me that’s what’s in her system with some weird smirk on her face and says it’s gonna be $59 then after viewing that it made me physically upset because I’m like man what has this world come to? This chick is gonna ask me a dude with gray in his beards and the rewards program that I already gave you my phone number for to give ID so that we can complete the transaction even if that is the policy man the way I feel handled in there. I literally grabbed my game walked right back out of there and went to the other GameStop on Mississippi and Havana. It’s already weird for me going into a video game store well into my 40s, so if you don’t want to feel like this, make sure you avoid that store cause that’s exactly how they made me feel too old for the club and apparently my business was not needed.

Fantastic experience: I really do like going to every and any GameStop that I can in the state of Colorado and seeing what they have and don't have. This GameStop is fair but the guy working there was really trying to sell me things I didn't want. And overall he acted as if a "new" game without the shrink wrap is still "new" and I had to explain to him if I buy a game sealed. And open it and try to resell it. It's no longer new. Yet when you do that it's still considered "new" and he wanted to argue. I just told him if I'm paying for a brand new sealed game that's what I want.

Fantastic experience: So I came into the store today and the girl who was helping me out with an Apple Watch trade in and didn’t quite know the process for doing a watch trade in. I’m assuming he’s in a managerial position or at the bare minimum a senior game advisor, I wanna say Johnathon or Joseph was his name bout a 5 foot 10 black kid, he was absolutely awesome. Not only did he help empower his co-worker to learn how to take on an Apple Watch Trade, he acknowledged me, helped 3 customers with excellent upselling tactics and knocked out 2 boxes of inventory like an absolute pro in the 10 minutes I was there. Excellent customer service skills, as a store manager for a major wireless retailer, if I wasn’t fully staffed I’d honestly be trying to poach him to be my employee. Knowledgable reps with good people skills are so rare to come by at GameStop, as a former ASM/SGA 10 years ago I can attest that GameStop does not treat their employees well, when companies treat their employees bad, it almost always trickles down to the customer, but not with this kid, he’s an absolute rockstar with a fantastic attitudes, killer sales instincts, and I can spot a top performer when I see one from a mile away, keep on kicking ass kid, this 5 star review is for you and I hope corporate recognizes this because it takes a lot for me to care enough to take the time to acknowledge an employee on a google review. Keep that great attitude and you’ll succeed at any sales job and I highly HIGHLY suggest trying your hand at something like wireless, furniture, jewelry or car sales where you can make a commission on top of that hourly pay. Real recognize real my dude, if upper management don’t recognize that you should be running stores, then find somewhere that does. Great work and k see a bright future for you if you stay in the world of sales. Give this kid a raise, before you lose him to a better company GameStop corporate.

Negative experience: Must have came into this location on a bad day or something, I was looking for a PS4 most recently this week and the employees were not only entirely unprofessional and had an air like neither wanted to be there,They had a ps4 in stock and the employee refused to get the console as he claimed "It was too high up" among all the SWITCH 2 consoles. I was done by then. Will not be coming back to this location again.

Negative experience: Called today to ask if a game was available. John told me to hold because he had a store full of customers. He left me on hold for 13 mins. I eventually hung up and called back. It took him less than a second to tell me they had one copy left and couldn't hold it for me. I understand policy but after everything leaving me on hold I won't be doing business at this GAMESTOP!

Negative experience: Called for a nintendo switch 2 they said they had a few left in stock, i said I would be there in 15 minutes and he said hurry just for him to sell the last nintendo switch 2 right in front of me to a couple that already has a nintendo switch 2 already... i know this because hearing them talk in line saying she might be getting the last one for him when she has one already... missed out on all pre orders everywhere due to them instantly sold out and just tried to get one for my son. Wouldn't ever leave a review but this time I actually am because it's already being sold out everywhere instantly, and mostly to scalpers or to more then one per house hold. After this game stop had my hopes up after rushing there right after work I called target and walmart and other gamestops and all are out too. Disappointed in this gamestop for telling me to hurry just to get there and watch them sell the very last one to the couple that has one and telling me to call or come back in Saturday to check stock... I apologize to this gamestop but I will never trust your words here and I will not be returning anytime. As for me getting a switch 2 for my son that will just have to wait. Again I never leave reviews but this time I had to due to how everything happened.

Positive experience: Update: Shea is a lifesaver, went in to try to get the situation fixed again, the guy in store today Shea, did the swap out no problem, knew what needed to be done and even better, was willing to let me pay the difference on getting a new item, employee like this are what make these stores worth going to Went in to swap a controller out that I had a warranty on, was told that even tho I bought the controller new 2 months ago, it had to be replaced with a used item, that was fine. Got home and started to play with the “new” item, it’s even more defective than the one I swapped it out for. Went back to hopefully get a replacement or even the controller I had originally, nope, was told I’m SOL and stuck with the defective one. No refund, no offer to do anything except send me home with a broken item. I will not be buying any warranties from GameStop again and will probably stick to buying my gaming accessories from Sony directly from here on out, shame that brick and mortar stores like GameStop are doing everything in their power to put themselves out of business.

Negative experience: Store closes at 8, and employees have "been on break" since 6:50 and it's 7:15. Waste of time. Edit: store finally reopened and there's 2 employees scrambling to get everything going again. Common sense would say one worker could have taken a break while the other assisted customers, but I guess that's too inconvenient. Won't be back. Too many locations to choose from.

Fantastic experience: Wow! My son is 12 and getting into video games. I am not a gamer and the employee, Zach (He/Him), who helped us was soooooo helpful. He answered every question we had and spread his time between us and other customers who entered and needed assistance. We were there for over an hour as my son browsed, processed, and asked questions. If he did not have an item or could not help with a process, i.e. repair, he knew where we could go. 10/10 would recommend this location.

Negative experience: Store declined a transaction for an online and in-store order but kept almost 500$ in funds anyway, Hoops to jump through are insane and so far every employee involved in the dispute process as re-routed to someone else rather than making right. Going to the bank to resolve it. Don't order from gamestop and certainly don't do it in-store at this location.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had the experience of having to deal with Rebecca at this location. I've been partial to this location since working for the company in the past, but had a rude awakening and experience that will lose my business at this location permanently. Having pre ordered an item, the box arrived late AND had some damage. Instead of offering any sort of help, understanding, or solution she proceeded to give me attitude based on the fact that I keep my items/collection boxed. It is my belief that gamestop should cater to all gamers, and I find it incredibly unwise, and unprofessional to try to dissuade collectors, long time customers, and avid gamers with alienating comments and attitude. With these types of hires it's easy to see why this company is on the verge of bankruptcy.

Fantastic experience: In this crazy time of people being forced to stay in their homes surrounded only by people who drive them crazy on a regular basis, hobbies and crafts, games and video entertainment are, in my opinion, vitally important to maintain a positive frame of mind as well as giving families things they can do together. I support GameStops desires and attempts to remain open to provide this essential, moral boosting service. Thank you for at least attempting to give people a way to distract and entertain themselves in this time of fear and uncertainty. I am disappointed in the people who turned tattle tale, trying to force this store and others to close and deny others a way to ease their minds because they feel the need to exert control over something that causes no actual harm and may help others greatly just so they can feel a tiny bit better about themselves because they want to make others feel out of control too. Negative experience: Been here many times and every single time I'm disappointed and end up going to another location. Been denied using my points, told I cannot trade in a game even when I have the quote saved from their website, and the manager is the least helpful GameStop employee I've ever met, not sure why he got the position. Take the extra few minutes to hop up to Tower road, they are an amazing store with a friendly helpful staff. Avoid this location until they hire new management, at the least. Never have I had so many issues wanting to give a location my business. Avoid the hassle!

Negative experience: It was awful. I waited around for someone to help me. Some guy came out of the back room and they were smoking hookah or something. TERRIBLE!

Fantastic experience: Great experience came in looking for a pre owned rainbow 6... Sujan greeted me walking in saved me money and got me out in under 2 mins no extra bs... Awesome employee very intuitive
