Negative experience: This is the scammiest location in Denver, even by Gamestop standards. Employees here are relentless with pushing Pro membership and will try and convince you by signing up, youll save money on what you came in to buy (you won't). When you ask why the price is the same, their manager will come up and "explain" how your receipt isnt showing your true savings because they "can't give you something for free". While this condescension is insulting, its not as bad as their employees outright lying about Pro rewards being eligible for eShop cards(they aren't) and later tell you they said Pokemon cards (they didn't). They also intentionally slowroll lines on release days. Save yourself time and go to any other Denver metro Gamestop
Fantastic experience: Shout out to Arben!! guy rocks! he's hooked me up so many times, always a pleasure to see him whenever I come into the store Arben makes it worth coming in every single time, great guy!
Fantastic experience: I love this game stop, been my to-go-to game stop. Never had a reason untill now to write a review but this will now be the only game stop I will be buying at, I went to a few other ones and they sold me products ( especially the one with the barns and noble connected to it) with out knowing anything and the people at the Stapleton game stop helped me a lot!! Love this place!!
Positive experience: Any question i had the employee did an awesome job of answering them. For being a video game store still a physical location that says something in itself.
Negative experience: Purchased a product that didn't work with there own gamestop stamp on it wouldn't let me return it said I need a receipt 4 proof of payment went digital found proof of payment still wouldn't take it It's a cooling fan 4 ps5 don't purchase garbage customer service below zero be careful of these scammers

Fantastic experience: This was a completely new GameStop we went too. They had a good selection of all consoles and it was well stocked. The employee was nice. And they had a good selection of magic the gathering cards! But for some reason GameStop is getting to the point of sclapers prices when it comes to pokemon and magic
Positive experience: The cashier was great, store was a little messy. The amount of money we got for a PS5 controller with slight drift was 8 dollars which was disappointing.
Fantastic experience: I would like to say thanks to guys who work on Sunday 11-02-25, I really appreciate the new oculus 3. To go along with my other collection. The Alien case was nice as well .so me it looks better then one oculus has and the one you get if Amazon. Maybe y’all let people order personal pictures for there box . Clearly you can see which nice looks better.

Negative experience: Super bogus that bc I came into the store with my boyfriend, I couldn’t also get a game code for the new pokémon event. Screws over families with multiple children and couples who like to game together, beware!

Negative experience: Same day delivery does not exist. Payed for same day delivery. They do not delivery on weekends. Target will deliver within 4 hours on a Sunday!
Fantastic experience: Awesome experience preordering, trading, and picking up a new Switch 2
Negative experience: I went to trade in a few games for the 40% additional trade in credit towards the Switch 2. When I walked in I first mentioned this was my intent and get the additional trade in credit. After he scanned the games it came to be 13 dollars less than what I calculated and I asked what the values came to be. He said this went up from 6.00 to 6.60 etc. Which is not a 40% increase and sounded like the 10% pro member credit. I mentioned again and was absolutely confused. Then another worker says that the 40% comes during the purchase of the Switch 2. Which the I was like ok sure and signed the pad. I went to the car and did some research and found that the credit is only towards Switch 2 games, not for the console itself. So I went back in and asked if I should have done the credit towards a game instead and both shrugged. They said it basically doesn't matter now it is all finalized. So I'm SOL. They said yep. Clearly they don't know what their own promotions are and don't listen to the customers needs. Terrible interaction and service.
Negative experience: They closed early because I called and spoke to Jorge. I said I was going to try to make it in before they closed and so they made sure they closed before 8. Gamestop just lost a $1000 sale.
Negative experience: They sold me a messed up ps5 that turns off after 1 hour of play they just got lucky I don't play it as much so I didn't notice till after the 30 days now I'm stuck with a broken piece of shit that I paid 500$ for
Fantastic experience: Spent some time recently at this shop and was blown away by the kindness and great conversation with Jorge and Arben. Really friendly guys and they worked hard to give me the best possible trade-in prices for the great I brought in to the store. Will definitely shop here again based on the customer service.

Negative experience: Asked about pokemon cards and was told "I wouldn't be able to get any ever".. no advice about when try when they restock.. Pretty sure the staff claim and take all the pokemon cards as soon as it's delivered.
Negative experience: Came into the store for the first time in my entire life just wanting to see if they had Pokémon cards in stock and was immediately met with a sly remark. I don’t get why people who have terrible customer service work in a customer service field.

Negative experience: Don't bother with this location if you need anything beyond a simple purchase (and no returns). I ordered a pre-owned console on 1/18 and it arrived 3 days ago (1/24). According to the return policy on GameStop.com, pre-owned consoles ordered on a regular account can be returned within 7 days of delivery (15 days if you have a pro account). Meaning, I have through 1/30 to return the item. After finding my account and my order, the first store associate told me the system wouldn't allow the return because the return window expired on 1/27 (which happens to be the date I was there). I clarified that the item was delivered on 1/24, which means returning today (1/27) should have been well within the return window. Then he called his co-worker over, who didn't even bother to take the time to look at my order details or my info. The immediate response he provided was basically "We can't really do anything about it except an even exchange." I asked him to confirm that the return policy allows returns within 7 days of delivery, to which he replied "You have 7 days from the date of **purchase** to return the item." ??? Not only is that incorrect (as confirmed by another GameStop store + online customer service), but it didn't make any sense based on the info they had. They told me the return window expired on 1/27, which was **10 days** after the purchase date... not 7... Needless to say, it was very clear that these employees were intentionally misquoting their return policy to fit their narrative and not help. Gross. I called a second location who was kind enough to confirm the policy and even went as far as to confirm that their POS would issue the return before I arrived.
Negative experience: 3 people working, 2 of them didn't know what rog ally was. Pretty sad they don't sell anything good there beside ps5 how are these place still making money? They recommended best buy so maybe that's where we always go skip game stop cause it's bullshit.
Negative experience: The store was packed; they had boxes in front of products so that I couldn't see what I wanted to buy (I mean there were 5 boxes on top of each other) and then there were things thrown around on shelves, so it was hard to see (I am handicap so I can't bend to see things without help) and no one offered because they were too busy talking about other stores getting products! When I finally purchased, I got my new membership renewed, but never was offered anything else, like what comes with it (my membership had lapsed for a bit). I was very disappointed in this store.

I go in, I still got a game but didn't look new, no plastic and a finger print right on the disk, questionable on how new it really is. Got a call and all they said was they will be holding it for me, never mentioned it will be re sold after two days. I can only imagine what would have happened if no copies were left. Very disappointing to pre order months in advance to get to this.

Fantastic experience: Just went in to get a new Nintendo switch today and the service was amazing. Answered every question I had without making me feel dumb or clueless. Talked to me about a payment plan and offered to help me through it! As I looked at new games for my switch he told me about the deals and how he could help me find what I'm looking for . Negative experience: Selling defective controller, I bought a controller as a gift, and when my brother opened it - one of the button wouldn’t work, so I went back and tried to exchange another controller within 30 days, then the staff said since it’s opened I cannot do an exchange. So I asked him if my brother didn’t open it, how would he know it’s defective? He just said well you should’ve bought my protection plan. Total scam & unbelievable rude service.
