Fantastic experience: Went in today for along shot game that I can not find anywhere but ebay and in France lol (x men maximum collection for nintendo switch). The person at the front counter was extremely helpful and helped me find a few other games in the mean time that matched my specific genre of game play. They looked stuff up for me at other stores and even helped me get signed up for there subscription. Over all it was an amazing experience and I got what I wanted and needed and will be notified as soon as any information comes in about my rare game request lol.

Fantastic experience: Came to gamestop for shadow of war but I had forgot my card at home, I was only 41 cents short and since no other gamestop around me had those game it would've been a 10mi trip back to my place. Well Isaac who was working the front register didn't even blink and he said I'll cover the change for you! It was so generous and courteous when I was just ready to walk out. A special thank you to him and this store!

Negative experience: Ceaser W was super rude ! Went in to purchase a Nintendo game and we were not aware the games are in alphabetical order sorry for not getting there and trying to figure out your organization system before looking through games. When we found the game and went up to pay he walked away from register and went to grab a stack of games we had went through . he then said “you know games are in alphabetical order and you are making the employees jobs very difficult by not putting them back exactly where they were” we apologized and explained we didnt know it was in alphabetical orders and thought we were doing the right thing by putting the games back on the shelves . He then continued and said we were not very courteous for “shoving them back on the shelf where only the display games were. It’s people like him that make you not want to come back to shop.

Positive experience: Had a rocky start, nobody could find my order but it ended up working out. One of the employees seemed blase and aloof but the guy who ended up calling me back seemed more attentive. Not sure what to say about the store.

Negative experience: Staff doesn't know their own policies. I bought a switch 2 from here and it ended up being defective and the employee told me they couldn't do anything despite it only having been 2 days since I bought it. I didn't ask for a refund I wanted a flat exchange for a new one. I asked to speak to the manager and he corrected the employee and told me they would exchange it. Main non-management employee is extremely short, rude, and unprofessional. I still didn't go back to this store. I will never go back to this store. I exchanged it at the gardens on Havana store. Much friendlier guy and understood right away that it was defective.

Negative experience: I bought the Switch 2 Bundle from here and my download of Mario Kart World had already been redeemed. It had to have been an employee who took the console out of the box, signed into their account, reset the console, put it back in the box and sold it to me. Be weary of buying stuff here especially since one of the employees might’ve already stolen your game.

Negative experience: Update: Prepare for an attitude from the guy who works here if you don't want Pro. I traded in some games and my total had me getting my game with a few bucks extra credit coming back. Dude added the Pro to my order which I would have then OWED money for, and went through his whole shpiel about why it's a good deal. My dude I did my math before coming in and I have no desire to spend extra money to pad your numbers, or have extra products I didn't ask for tacked on to my order before I even get the chance to see my total, and the attitude needs to be left at home. When I told you I wasn't interested and told you I don't like point of sale pressure tactics, the response is to say okay and move on not getting moody and rude. Poor new girl is learning from the worst. With managers like this at theost popular game store, is it any surprise gamer boys have a reputation for not understanding "no means no?"

Negative experience: I recently pre-ordered a copy of legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom from this store and was told a copy would be ready for me on launch day. I got a call on launch day and was told that FedEx failed to deliver the games to the store, although that was annoying I appreciated the heads up and was told to expect a call when it was in. Fast forward to just a moment ago, 5:45pm 9/27/24 and the associate who picked up told me they got it in yesterday. I explained to him I was told I would receive a phone call when it was available and it never happened, he offered no apology nor understanding. I tried to set that aside and asked what time they would be open tomorrow. The associate then said "9? 10? 11? I don't know." I asked perplexed, "how do you not know what your business hours are?" He got defensive and replied "you can check the website" Rather rude but then he gaslit me saying I was being rude when I said "I'm trying to understand how an employee doesn't know their own business hours" and hung up on me. Needless to say I will never shop GameStop again, thanks for the 20+ years of memories but customer service has gone into a crap heap, this game was a gift for my wife and your store has made it bad memory. ‍♂️ I'll pick my order up in the morning and after that, good riddance

Negative experience: Came to the store 3 separate days at around 630pm and the store closes at 8pm. All 3 separate occasions, they had their gate down and doors locked. Tried calling l multiple times and they never answers the phone. When I call them when outside the front door, I see the employees hanging out inside the store, not bothering to answers the phone calls. If they are going to be closed like that every time I visit this location, might as well adjust the closing time so that we wouldn't waste our time going out to this GameStop location.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a GameStop. Josh not only helped us get a PS5 but was so patient with my son. He is a threenager with special needs so he was living his best life running around the store. Josh was so understanding and compassionate towards him. I truly hope Josh is being compensated for the hard work they put in, cause I will be returning because of that top notch performance.

Positive experience: Well, for an inner-city Gamestop, at least it actually had a few games in stock. Plus they had rare amiibos in stock. Definite score, there. Kind of grundgy, though. The shelves looked caked in some greasy film that would probably need some good cleaning. Like Gamestop saw a Nirvana music video and got inspired for the wrong reasons.

Positive experience: Really great location, though today I went to see about getting a controller and when I arrive the store was closed?! They usually close at 9 pm on weekdays. Their was no sign saying anything other then their security shutter exposed and doors locked. Not sure if they’re short staff or some holiday? Even says on google map that their open. Very sad to see they close early with out a sign saying something, but I do always get good customer service.

Negative experience: I’ve come here 3 times this week and ever time I come there is a sign on the door that says they have had to step away. They NEVER answer the phone. Fantastic experience: My account was recently hacked and my login email was changed. My payment information was stolen and I had to freeze my credit cards. After spending days being ignored by GameStop customer service through phone and email, I got in touch with Caesar from this location. He did his best to try and track down a solution for me, going above and beyond to research a resolution. I still don’t have access to my account, but Caesar is the only one from GameStop who has made any effort at all to fix my situation so far.

Negative experience: I went to this location at 7:30 PM. There was a handwritten sign on door that read, " Gone to lunch 7:30_8:00" No big deal bc everyone needs a lunch break. However, 8:30 rolls around and still nobody shows up.Finally, at 8:45 TWO employees show up and tell me they're about to close and I'd have to come back tomorrow because they stop trades at 8:30. That's pretty frustrating because of could've made it to another location.

Negative experience: Their customer service is probably the worst ive ever experienced at any gamestop. Ive never been into a gamestop that prejudges and assumes more than this one. I am a gamestop credit card owner and per gamestop rules and regs you can use the card to buy giftcards which include gas cards. I doordash and uber eats so gas is something i absolutely need. This specific gamestop never allows me to use my credit card and mind you i have both my id, the card and obviously my social. This is the ONLY location ive ever had problems and as a result i wont step foot in there regardless of distance from my home. Why this company still hires sacks like this is beyond me but it is what it is. Just know before you step foot in there what you are getting into. Id give 0 stars if i could

Negative experience: This game stop is ok I'd call first before just showing up to get something you'd think they already have because both times I've been there they didn't have what I was looking for. Also if they tell you that you can't exchange out your controller for the 10 dollar warranty because you don't have the sticker or box that's not completely true all they need is your number that was used to purchase it and they can do it. Apparently this game stop doesn't have any ps4 controllers left they happen to be the only one in the city who can't get any shipments because of covid-19. Lol sure fella. Thanks for not honoring my warranty like you're required to. Sad my suggestion would be to spend your money at a different gamestop.

Negative experience: snobbiest workers of all time made me feel unwelcome as soon as i came into the door wouldn't even replace my controller that had stick drift even though i had warranty and the receipt. I won't return to this location or any other GameStop ever again to anyone that's reading this review buy your games or controllers at best buy at least they cover your things for two years instead of one.

Negative experience: I purchased a PS4 for my son last year Dec. 2018. His system started overheating, and I needed to have it serviced. I went to my local Gamestop, at Gateway Mall and spoke with one of the Reps. He was very helpful to say the least. He advised me after he pulled up my information by my phone number to bring the system in, so they could exchange it for a new one. I'm sure you you didn't see me mention anything about receipt. I was so happy he could pull up my info and the warranty that I had purchased along with the system. I bought the PS4 back and swapped it with a new one fresh out of the box. My only issue was that I had to purchase a new warranty for the new PS4. I have to admit, it's way cheaper than buying another system for my son.
