Positive experience: Employee was very helpful. He answered some questions. This older person here wanted to play classic games that are hard to get help me navigate what I need to do which was buying a combination of stuff from GameStop and some stuff from Amazon refurbished options I will be a GameStop person for future stuff for gifts or anything like that. That was a pleasant experience and I wish I knew the employee’s name. It was an older gentleman not a kid.

Negative experience: They don’t know how to talk to people with respect

Negative experience: Horrible customer service, walked in and was not greeted by any employees as two of them looked right at me as I stand waiting at the check out area both employee persist to ignore me. While one is on her cell phone and the other one continued to stalk games on the shelf. One of them walked into the back for about five minutes and then comes back out to say oh do you have a question. This kind of customer service reminds me why I don’t go to GameStop

Fantastic experience: All gamestops in general stopped being good since probably 2018 Walmart and Bestbuy are the best places to buy games *edit* i got switch 2 midnight release without a pre-order so ima give it 5 stars also cute girls working here

Negative experience: I was just at the game stop on civic center and lake mead here in Las Vegas Nevada. 2119 E lake mead blvd north Las Vegas 89030. Online it says that this game stop had 5 prismatic binders sets left. I went in and asked and this employee had no idea what is was at first. Then when I showed him he said that this game stop was the only one in Las Vegas that didn’t release it. When all game stops were suppose to release this binder set on 5/24/25 when they opened. This employee was also not presentable. He didn’t have no name tag, smelled like he hasn’t not showered in days and no game stop clothing what so ever. I believe this employee was holding them for someone or the other employees. It’s not cool that all the game stops here in Las Vegas are doing this kind of stuff to make some extra money or whatever they gain from it. I’m very disappointed in game stop and wonder if I should keep buying from this company.

Negative experience: John Carlos who claims to be this locations GM, lied to my face and said that the Pokémon cards my child was looking at just came out. He said they came out 8 days ago. After leaving I remember seeing them 3 weeks ago there and googled it and they were over 15 months old. I immediately try to return them and JC said I couldn’t. Luckily I recorded the whole interaction cause he seems like a dishonest kid. This was blatant fraudulent misrepresentation. I will be filing a report BBB, State Attorney General, and FTC.

Positive experience: Giving it four stars service was amazing products were available. Staff member went above and beyond to provide stellar service.. the only thing that concerned me was the lack of security. There was only one employee in the building and they appeared to be working alone on a closing shift. This was written on Saturday June 15,2024 around 8:57p.. whoever is managing this store do better to keep your employees safe….. other than that 5 star service.

Negative experience: They're system was down so i couldn't even make a cash purchase. And the previous time I was there the guy tried to upsell me on a video game I purchased online saying he didn't have it but had another one for a few dollars more then I called their corporate number and suddenly he found what I ordered online.

Fantastic experience: First I’m excited that I stay literally down the street from GameStop... But what got me amped was the positive vibe I felt entering the store, plus the customer service and hospitality that was displayed as well. I was blown away! I was barely inside the store and felt like I was being helped when the employees was helping other customers... I only came in the store to ask about the Xbox series S and PS5 pre-order but ended up renewing my power up account, buying 2 PS4 games and discussion the epic move Microsoft made with Zenimax and Bethesda. Overall this store made my day and I’m looking forward to many more visits and purchases... but more so encouraging a lot of people to come to this store for that great experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this GAMESTOP.

Negative experience: I stood in line for 8 hours as the 8th customer for the 8 Xbox’s they had..was clearly noted on the door the store had 8 preorders available. Whoever opened said he made a mistake and there’s only 7. He basically kept 1 for himself. All GameStop’s said it was impossible to not have the 8 or miscount ..I need more than an apology
