Fantastic experience: Look it’s a family owned business. You need to have patience. This place is a godsend for gamers especially with nostalgia. I recommend going in and talking to them. They are very patient and if you listen they are always willing to help. This truly is the best place to come get anything video game related fixed! Some of the They also have a bunch of retro video games of all console types.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend, easy to find location, Brian was awesome, has a great collection of games and gear. I got a great deal on some Wii games I sold there, overall, a five star establishment! Rocking!

Fantastic experience: Went in to repair my wife's Dreamcast with a disc read error. He fixed it and now she's enjoying her games she used to play as a kid. I love supporting small businesses like this so I will be coming back for any additional repairs for other consoles.

Negative experience: Just all around rude and unprofessional service vent in there to fix my left stick on my elite controller 2 waited for a week came in again just rude and unprofessional towards the customer said my controller will be ready in 20min came back AGAIN finally it's done came home just to find out mu right stick now is getting stuck I don't expect nothing out of it just hope it helps some people when choosing the place to go.

Negative experience: We called to get a quote for an Xbox Series X HDMI replacement. The woman we spoke to quoted us one price then when we got to the shop they gave us a different more expensive price because she claimed to have quoted the wrong console although we told her which one it was when we called. We live on the southwest side of town so we drove half an hour out for her to just nonchalantly state she gave us the wrong price. We literally left out home within 10 minutes of the call and when we got there the time frame of the repair also changed. We will never do business with this place, so unprofessional and inconsiderate of people's time.

Fantastic experience: Staff(or owners?) were knowledgeable and uniquely playful. We very much enjoyed being in their store for the maybe 10 min that we were. They were able to swiftly diagnose the issue we were having and let us know it was a quick fix. That was very kind of them.

Negative experience: Only reason it's not one is because the kid who helped me was very kind, but in all honesty the guy who runs it is awful the way he talks to customers and employees. Go somewhere else because this man deserves to be out of business for the way he interacts in a customer forward business.

Negative experience: Owner is super rude and egotistic. I tried to get my console fixed here and the owner was VERY close-minded about the issue. Right away he said he couldn’t help me and dismissed anything I said. He chucked everything up to his 30 years experience, but I went across town and got the problem fixed with ZERO pushback. Please be careful going to Gaming Repair.

Negative experience: Won't be coming back.. just walked out went inside asking about nintendo 64 games asked a young employee about returns when a rude old man who I assume is the owner interrupted us and said if there is an issue with the game it's your counsel instead of just advising what the return policy is. After brushing it off I was still looking at games when another worker there (some sweet old lady) was having issues with register and began asking him for help he acted like she was a nuisance that old man seems miserable.. after that I walked out I can give another local business my money. Learn customer service probably yells at the old lady when no one is there

Fantastic experience: I came in there to get my PS5 HDMI port fixed, and the guy fixed my console within 2 days! I've gone months without my console, and now can finally go back to playing cause of this place. Totally recommend!

Fantastic experience: The man who owns this place has been in the business for over 34 years! It's crazy because I've been to his older location when I was still in grade school. He doesn't just repair, he sells games and consoles too. The prices are good, I just bought a used DSi from there and it works great! Will do business again based off his knowledge on hidden retro gems.

Fantastic experience: Brian and his wife are amazing. I have taken multiple nintendo switch here for repair. They repaired a screen, a fan and even the controller drift. He does it all! I love their back story about how it all started seriously they are and winderful couple! I enjoyed wholesome conversaton while getting repairs. Brian spends time finding the solution to the problem and if he can't he is honest and refers you to nintendo.

They also have tons of games and accessories. I bought a new faceplate for my controller and it looks brand new. I can’t express how much I love businesses like this. Negative experience: So I called for some help with my Xbox series X the lady answered and handed the phone over to what I assume is some technician or knowledgeable guy, so I say the fan replacement I researched isn’t very difficult and I could do it myself so I’ll like a low price to just change the fan because I’m like wanting it fixed today instead of waiting for the fan to arrive He scoffs and goes well I get paid 75 an hr and it will be 25 for the fan or whatever so 150 In a very douchebag type of way I’m just writing this because I want others to know don’t get fooled or treated like that just go somewhere else, it’s not like they are fixing your car 75 an hr is insane for something I could do myself in 5 minutes

Fantastic experience: This place is a rare find! The owners customer service is very friendly and product knowledge is amazing. The deals in the store are the best I've seen in any store. I just found my twin sons new gaming store even though it's a bit far from our house we are willing to make the drive! Thank you so much and glad we found you guys!

Fantastic experience: I've been a customer at this store for half my life & it is hands down the BEST little mom & pop game shop in all of Vegas. They are also some of the nicest people I've ever met. The other shoppers are also always worth chatting with about games. First time I walked in was in 2000, he had a lot more hair back then. I remember I bought some Dreamcast games. I've only needed a few small repairs here & there over the years & they handled them all. One Xbox 360 controller I did have to bring back a couple of times to get working but that's it. Never had any issues with trades or orders either. I'd recommend just checking it out if you're nearby, & always recommend them for repairs if you need any.

Negative experience: Horrible, rude customer service. Asked the owner (?) if he could help with a handheld, and he just rudely said nope, and walked away. I asked some other questions and spoke to the back of his head the entire time. I was there 2 minutes and couldnt leave fast enough. I had planned to buy a new set of cards for $120 from there, but I can't support rude people. Might be good on fixing "some" electronics (certainly not "all things gaming" as is claimed on the website), but 30+ years in business hasn't taught him ordinary human interaction courtesy. Want to know why Amazon thrives? This guy! Take your business elsewhere. (I rarely would post these kinds of reviews, but I'd want to know this ahead of time, so passing it on)

Fantastic experience: I had a lovely experience here. I needed a battery replacement for 2 Gameboy color games. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly/helpful!

Negative experience: me and my mom been coming to this man for a year and everytime he claimed he fixed my game i check to see the hdmi port wasn’t loose and it was the game was still working but it was loose and ended up goin black again i toon it too him and he gave me a hard time and was not working with me at all nd being really rude to me and my mom saying why i keep breaking my game when i told him it works it was just still loose and gave my pregnant mom a really hard time go to ubreakifix much better

Negative experience: I came to this place to get my sons ps5 fixed, his hdmi was broke and they “fixed” it so they say but I was back there in less than a month because the hdmi went black again. So it was not fixed I take it back to them they gave me a 10% discount I was upset but I said watever mind you the price was 125 with the discount i paid 110.00$ now here I am here again because the hdmi is loose and keeps cutting off. The guy was so combative wouldn’t let me speak I never said it wasn’t working I wanted to tell them it’s loose, he goes on to tell my son why does he keep breaking it! Like why would you say that? I’ve been coming here for years never a issue but I will not be coming here seems like they fix things enough to show you it’s working for you to come back, bad business, rude customer service and just disgusting how me and my child was treated.I’m On my way to Ubreakitifixit to get my sons ps5 fixed the right way for 140.00 and it comes with a warranty. Don’t go to game repair you will be ripped off.

Negative experience: Sold me a faulty game but it's okay I got in store credits. The lady is very nice and genuinely helpful (she gave me the credits) however the guy working there running the place isn't very nice. He Yelled at the sweet lady for trying to help a Costomer instead of scamming them. All in all two stars only because the lady was kind.

Negative experience: This rude guy who claimed he was the micheal jordan of fixing electronics almost costed me 600$ telling me he couldn’t fix my ps5 I called Sony and they fixed the issue easily

Fantastic experience: I had 3 games that were scratch up and I entered the place with no expectations. They got my games with little to no scratches I try the games and they work after a good hour of gameplay. I recommend coming to this place if your old games don't work. Just a little reminder it is not guaranteed to work it will depend on how badly the games are scratch.

Fantastic experience: I've been here twice now. They are amazing people, so friendly and answer pretty much any questions you have. Came in today to see if they could check out my N64, it wasn't too busy so he did some troubleshooting and I got what I needed to get back to playing! No pushy sales or pressured to but more than what I came in for. Definitely worth the visit if you are into retro systems or need repairs done to be up and running.

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer of Game Repair since they had their store on Nellis. I remember going in there when I could to see all the games and consoles I wish I had. I went in for repair of two Xbox controllers. One of them was a gift from my wife that she designed for me on Xbox's controller lab and it had drifting on the left analog stick. The other was a Xbox One controller which wouldnt allow the left analog stick to click down into the controller. When I got there Bryan and his wife diagnosed the issue with their equipment. I had seen they had custom controller face shells and colored sticks. I quickly got my repaired controllers back and they worked and felt better than before. The best experience was telling him how many memories I had of him fixing my Nintendo console back in the day around 1990 I was 10 then, I am now 42. Get your system and accessories fixed by the Pros with over 30 years experience.

Fantastic experience: Friendly cashier or employee. I wanted them to fix my ps4's hdmi but he said it would be fixed in 5 or more days. I needed it fixed in 3 because I was leaving town. It wasn't his fault I understand there are other customers before me. I'm just rating five because of his customer service. Btw the HDMI was going to be cost $79 to fix.

Negative experience: The owner is very rude and conceited. He says that he is ‘best videogame repairman’ on the planet. His wife however is very polite and was nice to me. I came in with an issue I have already had diagnosed. I explained the issue to him, which was a DSi needing a replacement screen. He ignored what I said, and continued to go on about how its the motherboard, even though it is not. I explained again, and he asks me ‘how do you know that?’ there has been many repairs for the same exact issue, and replacing the broken screen fixed the problem. Sarcastically, he says ‘yeah people on the internet know way more than me’, and sticks to his wrong diagnosis about it being the motherboard. Funny enough, I bought a replacement screen elsewhere and fixed it myself.

Fantastic experience: Great store! I called around a bunch of places and were the only one I contacted that still does repairs on ps2's. My ps2 was taking 10 to 15 minutes to boot up a game and now it loads almost immediately. Very fair prices as well.

Fantastic experience: They've been in business longer than I've been alive. They had what I needed (SNES Multitap and an extra controller) and helped me pick out a 4P game for a gathering I was having. Thank you for the help! Everything worked great!

Fantastic experience: This really nice couple helped us on the person. Our NES and 64 weren’t displaying properly and they took the time to diagnose the issue for free and only charged for the special cables. Not too expensive either.

Negative experience: Called this location for a repair on my nintendo switch lite. They said straight up that they can't repair it if its the right side of buttons. Weird specification for a repair even if its a repair shop? At least the lady on the phone was honest about it though, just weird how they cant repair it if its that specific side.

Negative experience: There's this old bald guy who runs the place and he's by far the worst owner i've seen like most gaming stores in Nevada don't shop here. Unless you want to get dirty overpriced games and be treated worse than a warehouse worker during the winter season.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and value. They repaired my son's PS4. Service was done onsite. Their estimate included a new fan assembly but after a thorough deep cleaning, the part was not needed and was deducted from my final bill. This honesty increases their credibility as professionals. I will always go to them from now on for our gaming needs.

Fantastic experience: Went there today with an Xbox One that had a few issues. They reviewed the repair options with us and recommended using a different port rather than spending the money to repair the broken one. They also recommended what we could do to avoid having the same issue in the future. I'm so happy to find a local store that I can trust for gaming system questions and purchases. Negative experience: Horrible customer service. I brought my PS4 in and let the know the problem. They told me to purchase the internal hard drive and I could do the repair myself. I completed the removal of hard drive but sim still having the same problem. I called them to let them know and the guy acted like he didn’t care. And now can’t help me fix my PS4. I will never go back.

Fantastic experience: Bought two SNES games from game repair today. Store has a great selection of new and classic video games. The best part of the store is the owners - husband/wife couple that are extremely friendly and honest. One of the games wasn't working on my SNES, husband cleaned it up for free and actually took the time to clean some of my other games and gave me some tips on how to clean the console. Everything works like a charm now. Will visit often in the future when in town to browse their selection. Highly recommended for anyone needing repairs on old or new video game systems.

Fantastic experience: I read some of the negative comments on here before coming to the place and me being myself assumed it was just people being sensitive like usual in today’s time and man it feels good to be right. If you lack extra skin and cry when you scraper your knee then this place isn’t for you but if you want conduct business with professionals who know what they’re doing and tell you how it is, and have conversations as if you’ve known them your whole life this is the place to go. I had a great experience coming here and would suggest this to everyone but I know everyone isn’t built the same anymore nowadays. Fantastic experience: Needed a new Xbox power supply for an issue I was having. Called them up and confirmed they had it in stock. I came in they were very clean/wearing masks, distancing measures. When I went to go buy the power supply I described the issue and they were able to confirm that was what was needed (stuck orange light basically the supply died). New power supply did the trick! Recommend over Gamestop tbh support your smaller businesses. Great customer service!
