Fantastic experience: MATTHEW is the GOAT , This man has been carrying the store on nellis for at least two years since i first went in and had an experience that stuck with me . This guy has Heart & personality, i don’t go that often i would say i go once every few months but every time i go and he sees me he remembers exactly what i bought the last time and always asks me how everything that he has sold has worked out for me . District Manager, or anyone higher up who sees this ; you can’t afford to lose this guy the connections he has with his customers is just through the roof . And every time i’ve gone in he’s never asked / pressured me to leave a review . people leave reviews for him not because he ask for them but because that’s the type of satisfaction he leaves them. ✌️ He’s sold me (2) ps5 (1) keyboard (2) mouse (3/4) head seats and plenty more . HES THE G.O.A.T

Negative experience: Waste of time waste of money waste of everything
Negative experience: Never answers the phone, I have tried to contact them since opening through numerous calls allocated through the day just to give them the benefit of the doubt that perhaps they are busy, however after 4 and a half hours of numerous calls spaced apart they did not answer a single one. This isn’t the first time this has happened either where they do not answer calls, I’ve even seen it happen in store where the associates will just let the phone ring. Absolutely ridiculous.
Fantastic experience: I only come to this GameStop because of Matthew. Every single time I walk in, he goes above and beyond, not just for me, but for everyone who steps through the door. You can tell he genuinely cares about people and takes pride in what he does. He always remembers what I’m looking for, gives honest advice, and never tries to just push a sale. Most other GameStop stores I’ve been to leave a sour taste in my mouth.. you feel rushed, ignored, or like just another number. But here, it’s the complete opposite. Matthew makes the experience feel personal and enjoyable. He treats customers like friends and creates the kind of environment that actually makes you want to come back. It’s rare these days to find someone who truly puts in that kind of effort, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. If every store had a Matthew, GameStop would be on another level.
Fantastic experience: Went here to buy a controller for my PS 5 and was on pre owned budget. Well they had several factory refurbished ones available. So I picked a cool color and got the 1 year warranty all in my budget. Then here is why I give this place t stars, the manager that assist me did not sell me a warranty, he got it in my budget. This kind of business is unheard of these days and wait here it comes, my new controller was a bad refurb, it happens. What does not happen is that the very next day I went back in and after a test that same manager honored that warranty and also checked the newer controller out before I left. Amazing service and I will only buy here from now on. Love the newer controller it feels and works like new !! Thank you
Negative experience: Online it says they close at 9pm. I came to buy a charger for Playstation at 8:10 , ye said the registers were shut down. Update the times. I showed up for nothing.

I asked if I can return them they said yes but not today we have a lot of boxes you can go to another store our come back next week. ? Negative experience: Not really a fan of this location as it’s out of the way and generally just not the same vibe as most game stops. Short stocky dude with glasses stands behind the counter when he’s not helpin lookin displeased. Answers to questions are generally pretty short and not sweet. On top of that the only location whose supposed to be open until 9 and they were closed at 810. It’s currently 815. Not a soul insight but the lights on and door cage not even pulled down completely to make sure u know they aren’t open. Needless to say they have officially lost my business even if they do have the cards and games I want cuz nobody else buys there.
Negative experience: Drove 30 minutes because is the only store open till 9 pm and store was close at 8:20 pm. Closing times should be more serious

Negative experience: This place is one of the worst gamestops ive been in and this the last time. This time i get there and there closed but lights still on workers in there. I check the hours, yip its within operating hours. But nope there closed. So im done. With this place. Amazon/walmart it is.

Negative experience: I went to the location for a ps5 warranty change. I called BEFORE I got there and had the lady (i believe Raquel) look up the warranty BEFORE I got there and she told me everything looked good and to come in. I get there JUST FOR HER TO SAY SHE HAS BEEN TRYING TO CALL ME (which by the way was a lie). I told her I didn’t receive any calls! Then she continues to state that something in going on with their system and that it won’t probably work until Wednesday? Why? Idk. She continues to say that the other location on Nellis and Boulder HWY has been contacted and they have the system in stock and will be able to exchange it! I go to the other location just for the guy to tell me he don’t even have the system! Only the older model and that the system would be used or refurbished. I then called this location back and spoke to Sierra and she don’t know what’s going on smh. Sierra states she doesn’t know why I was told Wednesday but the warranty thing changed back in November 2023 which states you can only trade out for a refurbished or used system, not new. So I’m like why couldn’t the exchange be done? AGAIN NO ONE KNOWS NOTHING!!!!!! So while I’m talking to Sierra I hear her whispering to the other girl in the background saying idk what’s she talking about do you want to take the call. Then I ask her her name and again I hear her whispering “she wants your name do you want me to give it to her?” Like WTH. This is the worst experience I’ve had at this location. I rather you say you don’t know than to send me on a goose chase -_____-

Negative experience: They sold me a Nintendo switch v1 (pre-owned) that doesn’t work, the left side of the switch doesn’t work and I’m just stuck at putting on the joy cons for it. The lady at the front was very sweet, but does the store not test their products before selling it? $256 for a product that doesn’t work. Will be getting a refund.
Negative experience: I literally drove across town to find a 10-year old game, it was marketed for 9.99 on PS Store, and they wanted $20.... for a refirb physical copy... Staff was awesome, but I wish that they would have accommodated me a little bit more.

Negative experience: Man this place has changed for the worst. 2nd time I go here and the cashiers are rude when I ask a question. I asked about a used game that was being sold for 60 bucks when it's brand new at Walmart for 49 and they gave me the stink eye. They need better deals and better customer service though this shouldn't reflect on all employees there, just the few I've interacted with.

Negative experience: Said they open at 11, I get there at 12:15. The door is unlocked, but the guy behind the counter yells we ain't open yet,I just got here and have to do my opening. I asked when he would be open, and he said at least another hour. Lol, both best buy and Walmart right around the corner.

Negative experience: Went to gamestop to get shiny code for pokemon. Two employees told me I had to pre order the game in order to get the code. No where online does It say it is required to pre order. Guess they were trying to trick me into buying something from their store. Decided to go to a different game stop across town and got the code for free. No pre order necessary.

He was courteous, helpful and knowledgeable and just a great person. He has the greatest personality and it made my waiting in line a treat listening to him interact with other customers. Negative experience: My husband and I went to buy a Christmas stuffer for our kids stocking we ended up buying 4 shirts as well so we are checked out drive away and they forget to add literally the only thing we came in for in the bag .. so I get a call from them saying they forgot they toy plushie which was cool but I was already 2 min from home so turned around I walk in I say you guys just called me regarding the toy and some guy was like what .. like if I'm walking in asking for a toy for free or something ... finally the guy that rang us up btw realizes who I am what ever . I walk out .. later that night I go to get ready to wash my husband's new t shirts only to find out the freaking security thing is still attached to the shirts.. like seriously now I have to drive back again so they can remove the security thing off the shirts . Its incredibly ridiculous i have to drive back once again to the store to get this thing removed from the shirts. I will be returning Monday after work to get this thing removed and I hope im not treated as a thief. Yes I have the receipt!!
Negative experience: Went in to pick up a pre order. I was in line waiting when I overheard the cashier offer the guy in front of me the warranty for a year on a game. He said it was 3 dollars and the customer said yes. It was then my turn and he offered me the same warranty and I refused. After the purchase I realized on the receipt that he added it anyway. An extra charge of 3.99 for the 1 year warranty. I realized he also lied to the customer in front of me because I remember he said it was 3 dollars. I always felt bad for these employees because they are constantly pressured to sale memberships, used games and these warranties to meet monthly and weekly demands. I bought a membership just so I'm not pestered for the question to join constantly. But to add in a warranty even after I refused just to meet demands is inexcusable. Never going to any of these stores ever again. I WARN EVERYBODY THAT SHOPS HERE OR ANY GAMESTOP TO CHECK YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Just ridiculous we even have to do that.
Negative experience: Hey... thanks for the bundle I had to pay $260.00 extra for the Xbox X. Just don't tell me your getting 50 of them in next time (employee)Arron. Told me they would hold one then I had to wait 7hours in the cold.They just got 20 and it was a bundle pack or you couldn't by one.

Negative experience: I purchased a Series X from this location June of 2021. When I purchased I also purchased the extended warranty given that it is a new Gen console and you never know what might happen. In Late September the console was knocked over and damaged the HDMI port. I have contacted this location several times in regards to how to go about using my warranty and so far I have been given INACCURATE information, ABSOLUTELY ZERO communication and NO follow through. I recently reached out to corporate and created a ticket looking for some type of resolution - new console or at least a time frame as to when I would be able to get a console, if that is not possible simply refund my purchase and I will gladly buy from a more trusting retailer. In my conversation with Corporate I was told that supervisor would reach out to me in 24hrs. Well it has now been 3 days (72 hours) and just like the store I have no new information nor do i have a resolution to my $600 paperweight that has been sitting for nearly a month.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to update my last review of GameStop, I finally went there and it was a very pleasant experience, there's alot of games to choose from, the staff were friendly and helpful, I found about 7 games that day, and of course I'll be going back for more, it's kinda like Zia records and tapes, I always go in and spend alot of money, but I enjoyed my time in GameStop, if you like video games, then this is a good place to go.

Negative experience: Came home and realized that I was charged for game warrenty. The staff member Roderick added this charge onto my bill without asking me if I wanted it. I just purchased the Last of Us 2 a couple months ago from this same location and there was no warrenty charge. Buying a warrenty for an unopened game is the biggest scam ever created by Gamestop. I searched up the store policies and saw that buying a warrenty is not mandatory. The fee was only $3.00, but I don't trust any business that tries to sneak on hidden fees. Will not be returning and will be buying my games digitally from this point on.

Negative experience: Today Call of Duty cold war came out I'm super excited about getting it I head down to my local GameStop. I go in there and ask if they have it for Xbox One the associate Roderick apparently a manager there ask me if I have it pre-ordered I tell him no he asked me what makes me think he has one that he can sell me I stepped back totally flabbergasted at this comment and said that I could always go somewhere else and with tons of attitude he does sell me it but makes me want to never ever ever ever ever go back to that location!!!!! I would rather drive to California and go to a GameStop before I go to that location ever again
