Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable staff, offering a very large selection of current and older consoles, games and accessories. Took some old games and console in to see what they would offer, walked out knowing I'll definitely be referring family and friends to this location going forward. Thank you guys!

Sydney helped me out with troubleshooting an Nintendo 64 learn some knowledge nothing but nice. Positive experience: It was a good experience my mom my dad and I went here on Monday for some playstation 3 games I called on Sunday to make sure they would have any I was told yes we have playstation 3 games which they did! It was an amazing selection idky why people say the staff dosent talk i walked up talked to the guy with no problem they are just short answers nothing bad but yea good place good games good employees the reason for 4/5 stars is because I gotta drive all the from Queen Creek besides that 10/10 would recommend

Negative experience: These guys have a lot of defective games. I did request a game expansion and after 2 months of coming in weekly I give up. I was small talking about another customers collection and the cashier (even though he wasn’t dealing with us) interrupts our conversation to say that we have to talk outside. No explanation, I was here not to do business, but to return two defective socom 4(s) and on a whim decided to buy and Xbox. This rude employee ensured I’ll grab my games from somewhere else. I will grab the Xbox AND the root expansion elsewhere. These guys have no customer service. The manager was very nice. He tried to help me, the other people here need training. And this sounds like a nitpick but these guys also dress like they just got out of school, messy hair, stains, the body odor unfortunately is also not great. This team needs to have some hard conversations with their employees about expectations and customer service.

Negative experience: I was just asked to wait an hour and a half before bringing in my trade in by an employee here. He seemed grateful so I did. When I came to trade in I was told they are done doing trade ins for the day.. I really needed that money and now I'm completely screwed I work the remainder of the week and won't be able to come in.. I wasted all that time, the fuel to drive over here and now I'm in a worse position then I was. I've been doing business with this location for many years and im extremely disappointed that they wouldn't honor what they said especially because they remember talking to me. I understand it's not the company's fault that im having financial hardship but if they are going to ask someone to wait and then tell them they waited to long is just foul. I'm not saying that this business is bad or telling anyone not to shop here. But if your trading here be cautious. Please don't allow this to happen to anyone else.. I asked the manager (long dark haired gentleman) what times they stop doing trade ins and he told me to my face that as long as your open you take trades. There's just no getting around it y'all did me wrong..

Positive experience: Waited on a phone call for 15 minutes while they looked for a game, and then they just hung up without any answer of if they found one or not. Going in person is always nice but I can't say this makes me like them more.

Fantastic experience: After having terrible experiences with the Tempe location I decided to make the trek over to this location and I was pleasantly surprised! I thought all of their prices were extremely fair, pretty much exactly what you'd find on Ebay if not maybe a few dollars more. Im a chronic online shopper for retro so im pretty knowledgeable of prices and am happy to pay $5 more to get something instantly lol This is what i got today! I should point out that everyone who helped me was so so nice like honestly just sweet people. Wish i got their names to hype them up here but i didnt :( Definitely come check out this location they have a great selection of stuff and again everything was super fair priced from what I looked at.

Negative experience: I would not waste your time here. They scamming customers trying to charge same price for a loose game cartridge versus one in the case. Lady told me it's because people don't care about the case just the game. I then said why do you people sell a pokemon silver and gold game for a higher price if it comes with original case versus a cartridge by itself. Her retort was she doesn't set the prices. So yeah that means I no longer spend my money here then especially since you cant justify the price difference for the same game. I recommend checking out gaming zone on Guadalupe in Gilbert insteas, they have fair pricing and willing to haggle if you find it cheaper or a defect in my experience.

Positive experience: Fallout Games used to be a great place to purchase retro games like the classics but it no longer is, everything is absurdly priced. Only a few items are worth buying like cables, memory cards, some consoles and a handful of games that are mainly just shooters. If you’re looking for retro games themselves avoid this shop at all costs because you won’t find cheap mario games here and you’re wasting your time. The staff is also insanely rude especially that Indian employee. I’ve overhead them multiple times talk about me as “that guy” which is messed up as if I was some scalper or something. What kind of staff talks about their clients like that? Imagine what they say about the rest? Very unprofessional. You’re better off buying your games from ebay, amazon, and facebook. Screenshot this review because they’ll take it down. Its legit like this over there.

Negative experience: Been going here for years never had any issues, today they refuse to buff more than 4 discs... I don't understand the purpose of owning these machines and advertising that you will buff stacks for people, but turn me away because I want only 8 games clean. Long time customer , now disappointed.

Negative experience: I speak from the experience of being a regular customer. They are mainly interested in money and not business they will gladly sell u a broken console at a cheaper price knowing it doesn’t work just to get it off the shelf. Do not trust this place. Do not Spend money or time here. This place could easily be a 5 star store but nah. They only care about their customers on the surface. Update. the place got worse. Barely any Xbox 360 games and disrespectful employees. I’m gonna get them back for the broken R2D2 Xbox 360 console they sold me. Idk how yet but I’m gonna hit them with hard revenge eventually. Their response was “it was cheap for a reason” wow I’m still mad about this even though it happened two years ago. I’ve already stolen a few things to get yall back btw.(;

Positive experience: My fiancé is obsessed with this place, but omg - this is the slinkiest place you will ever walk into. Please, god, light a candle or get some febreze plug-ins.

On the occasion that I have called to check availability of a specific game, they have always been friendly & helpful. This review applies equally to the “Tatum/Thunderbird & Mesa “ locations. Fallout games is still the Best.

Negative experience: I appreciate how respectful they but they had me waiting in the store for like 2 hours to tell me yeah the person who can fix this left and apparently they are not coming back soon… man… you could have said something within the first hour. You told me only one person could do it not that the person who could do it was not even physically present. Be more respectful of peoples times

Fantastic experience: Genuinely do not understand why anyone who gave a negative review did. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. They see me as soon as possible, even when they have what looks like ten other things piled onto them. I enjoy coming here frequently and the staff are the biggest reason. Do not put stock into reviews like the 'Hey' guy. They're just ridiculous to lose their mind over having to wait in a line for three seconds. Any sensible person understands how service works, and the staff at this location are great.

Negative experience: I would have gave them more stars but the lady was very rude.but the only reason I'm not putting 1 star it that youngster had great customers and he explained that the actual owner wasn't there. So if I could I would give the youngster of five stars on his customer service and the elderly lady that was in charge , of the stuff when the owner was out.i would on one star I thought it was because I was from the complexion. was this little youngster that explained she that the lady never did this beforeit was an older lady there I really remember.

Negative experience: I'm a 60 yo gamer, going back to the days of the Atari 2600. I gave been gaming longer than the employees of this store have been alive, twofold. I went in today (4/2/25) and only one word was uttered to me. "Hey." Do not ignore your customers. Lost out on a considerably large sale today. Unacceptable customer service from a couple of kids. Will not return, and do NOT recommend.

Fantastic experience: I love these guys! Been here a few times and it's always a fun place to be with chill and fun employees. Recently my partner and I went down to this store and one of the other ones in the area and had a great time, found some good games and were treated fairly on a trade deal. When I got home from our trip, I opened the cases of the games I bought and saw the games weren't in the cases. Panicking, I thought somehow someone hadn't put the games in the cases. So, I called three different stores back and forth trying to look up my transactions and figuring out what was going on. The entire time everyone I talked to was professional, patient, and sympathetic. As it turned out no one at Fallout had done anything wrong! I was just dumb and forgotten I had taken the games out of their original cases to put them into my smaller travel cases! Of course, I called them back to let them know this was a super my bad situation and the games were with me after all. They still remained very chill and were happy that I found the games and at least never outwardly showed any annoyance with me. I appreciate you guys and will certainly visit any of the Fallout locations again in the future!

Fantastic experience: Max was a big help today. Patient and understanding. This was my second visit in a year's time. Got excellent customer service each time.

Negative experience: My boyfriend and I went in to buy a couple of games & the 2 girls working there took almost 20 minutes to grab 3 games because they kept talking in-between finding the games AND gave us DLC for one of the games, not the actual game.

Negative experience: Worst game store i have ever been to and as a mid 40yr old male who has been gaming since I was 5yrs old I have been to my fair share of game stores. Store has a ton of stuff but it is the least organized mess I have ever seen. Can't even look at the higher priced premium games displayed in the glass cases because there are gaming peripherals all over the tops of the cases. 3 employees doing absolutely nothing trying not to make eye contact like it's a freaking carnival just so they can continue to do nothing. After waiting 15min to buy a $8 game for my 8yr old niece it was clear that the employee didn't want to be bothered and were very put out by the possibility of customers. Don't go here. By from local smaller stores where your purchase will mean something.

Fantastic experience: We get gaming stuff from our auctions a n d storage units that we have no use for. We take this stuff here and get cash for them. Thank you for helping us keep this stuff out of the landfill.

Fantastic experience: Great selection, friendly staff

Positive experience: It's a typical video game store, however, they didn't test their devices when they sold it. I had to drive 45 minutes back just for them to sell me the correct product. While they are nice, their pricing is high, not necessarily in line with others in the industry and around them.

Negative experience: The worst location of this chain!! They pick and chose who they want to help and if it's not you then you're ignored until you stand there for 15 to 20 mins looking in general direction of a person and then maybe you'll be helped. Won't call them employees because they walk around and genuinely ignore customers until they think they may want to help you. This location is a complete joke and thus wasn't our 1st visit to this location!!!

Fantastic experience: Came here for a dual shock 3 controller for my old ps3. The first one I bought worked but would randomly select dpad buttons mid game. So I came back for a replacement and that one was worse. Analog stick just randomly selecting and scrolling. I went back to the store again and they tested 4 more in front of me all with issues (pretty typical for controllers that old so I wasn’t really mad) The best part was the way they fixed it. I asked if they had any third party controllers and to my luck they did. They had one shaped like a ps5 controller which I was more used to and swapped it out for my DualShock and let me pick 2 games since the aftermarket’s are priced slightly cheaper.. I don’t recall names but the guy with the long hair and the girl with red hair where super nice and patient with me through the hunting down a controller process. Thank you so much guys!! This was awesome to me. I’m currently moving and needed to sell my ps5 for the extra cash and am playing on my ps3 again for my gaming. Now I have a controller, multiple games (I might have bought a couple also lol) and my best friend is gunna get his ps3 back out so we can play borderlands and call of duty together!! Feels like 2014 all over again!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a customer Fallout games for several years, at both locations and across several systems. I went to get my husband‘s switch fixed, which I had purchased at the Mesa location because it had a wiggly joycon. They have a fantastic warranty on their used systems. Shoutout to Sydney who helped me get the switch fixed. She was absolutely amazing at customer service and answered my deluge of questions about the switch and getting things set back right for my husband. I had some other questions about some other systems and games while I waited and she answered every one of them patiently. Gaming is not my jam ( as you might infer) but it is my husband’s and I always want him to be happy with his leisure activities. I am always impressed with the customer service at Fallout games and with their merchandise. I’ll return time after time. 100 gold coins to Sydney and five stars to Fallout games.

Fantastic experience: Products: Purchased a backwards compatible Gamecube Wii console with cords/sensor/1 wii mote/nunchuck included, for $60, with 2 games, an extra controller + nunchuck, and sleeves for the wii motes. total was $120 and all items are in great working condition! Service: One of the games i purchased was scratched, and their automatic disc buff/cleaning machine was down. However, the employee assisting, Kylie, who hand buffed the disc, also offered a voucher for a free disc buff! -> when theirs is operating again/at another location. Additionally, the disc that had issue, i tested and the system can read it. Overall: Great experience! I appreciated the kind environment, quality of service, and helpful advice when it was needed :) All things considered, I would recommend Fallout Games, 10/10.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING store for retro stuff. Also, they sell lots of collectibles and trinkets. Amazing vibe and nice people. They didn't have DS/GBA in stock when I visited, but they had lots of games! Call ahead!

Positive experience: Buying games there is worth it. Wouldn't recommend selling, though. You'll only get 5-10% back of what you initially paid.

Fantastic experience: Went in to just buffer a disc I bought off someone, came out with a new case and cover for free and left with basically 18 things and the guy behind the counter helped me with everything even with finding other locations closer to where I live. He was informative and helped me find where I could look up specific info. Not to mention the prices are incredibly fair

Fantastic experience: Tons of older games and consoles. Cool setup. Only got a $130 for selling my PS4, Nintendo Switch, 2TB storage drive, new Resident Evil 4 remake and a few other games. Figured it'd be higher but they definitely helped me out in a jam and I didn't play these consoles anymore so it was worth it in the end. Giving 5 stars because I love that these types of shops are still open. It's always nice to have a different option then Gamestop, and these guys at Fallout have about every video game console or game you can think of. Also friendly staff. Can't wait to come back in the future when I have some extra cash to browse the store with. Stay cool dudes!

Positive experience: Great selection of games. Most of the employees are helpful. However the employee with the long black hair and glasses is always in a bad mood and is not welcoming at all. Have had the same experience the 5 or so times I have been to this store.

Fantastic experience: Employees are AWESOME!! Very knowledgeable and more than willing to help out an old man such as myself. Great prices on games/equipment. Game Stop is now ruined for me. "Fallout" is the only game shop to go.

Positive experience: I have caught them selling n64 bootlegs of Pokémon Red, Blue, and Red. (Those are original Gameboy games). Their male staff are often very snotty and elitist, which has no place in a second-hand game store. What they accept is often based on their opinions and not necessarily what makes money. Hell, one of the guys would not take great condition 3dses with the parent lock on it. It took me literally 2 minutes to remove the locks after googling it. I should have done it in their presence just to hit them in the ego.

Fantastic experience: bought a game from them that didn't work when I went to play it at home, brought it back and they did a simple clean of the cartridge and got it working! helpful staff and great selection of games at decent prices

Negative experience: They knowingly sell fake N64 games and who knows what other fake games they are selling, simply cannot recommend.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the BEST retro video game store I have been to. I have been to many game stores around the country, and this store is the best by far, amazing prices, friendly staff, and an AMAZING selection of games makes this my favorite game store.

Negative experience: I should have found a way to mark my game before I let them try to buff it. The employee brings me back a disc with a crack in it and tells me that it already had a crack in the buffer machine made it visible. I hate to think that they switched my game out, but it's a high dollar game, I don't put it past people these days.

Fantastic experience: I went in a couple times for games and the last time I went in I got an original Xbox. The staff let me know that the Xbox is refurbished and has a 1 year warrantee (that's nuts) well I got home and immediately had a problem with the power supply (original part so not surprised) they replaced and tested it right there. Went home and it worked, thought the console had some trouble reading my discs so I took it back again and not only did they replace the console but the disc aswell. And they made sure it was all working and reading the disc. If I could give 7 stars I would.
