Fallout Games: Reviews
Negative experience: Absolutely terrible customer service from the bearded white guy with a heart tattoo on his face. Tried asking for clarification on the return policy that I read on the receipt, and he was so rude and dismissive, "yeah, just read the receipt" in a very condescending tone. Other younger gentlemen with longer hair was nicer and helpful in finding a previous order so I can get another receipt as I lost mine. Still a little dismissive and annoyed at us though
Negative experience: I was looking for a gamecube for my sons birthday. When i called i was greated by a lady. It felt like i was interrupting something the way she she answered. She told me they did have a few in stock. I went to the location. Was not greeted i had to ask several time before a young man looked up from the computer to answer my question. Once again felt like i was interrupting something. He showed me what they had. I selected the console that i wanted he showed me what was in the box. power supply memory card 1 controller av cable and the console. After a couple games were cleaned i proceed to check out. He removed the console to check the serial number. I paid and left. Once i got home i noticed the memory card was no longer in the box. I called this location to see if i was left behind. The lady answered the phone again and acted as if i was once again interrupting something. She told me i can come back for a new one. After i got off the phone i tested the the gamecube and plugged in the av cable and the video cable broke right away. The cable after inspection was old and brittle. (I did ask if everything was tested) and was told yes. Obviously not. I will not be returning to this location i would rather buy a new av cable and memory card somewhere else. The customer service is bad. And the owner should look into this before it happens to others. Sadly this upset my son and mad it a bad experience for him.
Fantastic experience: Love this store a great place to start/continue a retro game collection. They go by market prices and don't upcharge for things which is a nice bonus. Also the perfect place to trade in old games you don't play anymore so you can get something new you haven't experienced before. The staff are also pretty laid back and patient.
Fantastic experience: Great Customer service for seniors who need the help
Negative experience: Cool store, bad workers. I was in the store for 20 minutes, waiting to look at stuff behind the counter. While the workers talked to someone about sports from 20 years ago instead of helping a line of customers, also waiting to look at stuff and check out. Not even a hey I’ll be right with you. Just completely blowing everyone off to talk about football memories from the old stadium in another state. I’ll go to another location from now on. Do that on your break man.
Negative experience: They got to popular for their own good. Asked if they coukd test a console they dont have time apparently . Called the ganin zone they said theyed do it for free anytime just show up. Store use to be a vibe now its no better than gamestop at both prices and vibe.
Fantastic experience: Good store, decent selection, a must visit if video game hunting in Tempe. The sound of people sifting through bins of legos can be taxing, but it's still a fun joint.
Negative experience: be careful coming here, even if they sell you a broken game and you return the next day. Their policy on returns is only for store credit. This is illegal under the Arizona consumer fraud act A.R.S. 44-1522. They do not offer you your money back, I think that’s pretty anti-consumer, especially when the product they sell is broken. I’d recommend other stores that offer you your money back without hassle.
Negative experience: Worst experience at a game store the employees seem bothered to do their job. Had to walk out because both employees attitudes were just crappy I was excited to look thru and buy but after just asking one question I was ready to turn around and leave. This store used to be somewhat ok now it's just bad employees reflect that.
Fantastic experience: Made a trip to this location for a specific game that I was looking for. Mike held the game until I got there. I found three other games that I had been looking for while I was there. Fallout Games has never let me down. Service and prices are great. I will always recommend visiting their stores!
Fantastic experience: Cool shop and nice workers.
Negative experience: Went to the store and browsed their collection, thinking about buying some shirts before the guy running the place cussed us out for touching the t-shirts. We were explaining how we had to touch the shirts to look at them on the shirt rack and they kicked us out.
Negative experience: An old guy who had tattoos on his arms yelled at us just because we were browsing for items basically anti-consumerism and then insulted my friend while we were walking out don't go to this place with that jerk in there
Negative experience: Simply asked if there were any recent trade ins I could look at sales person responded "sorry dude you can't the good one is on hold other stuff is just small stuff". Normally the managers are kind enough to check as they want to make a sale and provide good customer service.
Fantastic experience: I didn’t catch the employees name, but I came in looking to buff two games and they helped me out flawlessly on one. The other unfortunately could not be saved, but because of that they offered me a solution and brightened my day. The people here are always helpful and nice. I love this shop and I’ve been coming here for years
Fantastic experience: Great place to go purchase that one Lego piece that you lost somewhere in your house. Definitely worth checking out! I went there again today to sell some Legos that I had no use for and some stuffed toys. I sold Lloyd from the Lego Ninja movie and a classic Sonic. Sure missed seeing the owner. He's such a nice guy and always runs a good, fair business. Go on by!
Fantastic experience: Great staff and really good selection
Negative experience: I went in on a weekday, it wasn’t busy. The employees were nice! I purchased a $12 game without a case, they cleaned it up for me but didn’t have anyway of testing the game. A few days later I try to play the game I purchased to no avail. I called the same location explaining this and that I somehow lost the receipt. Being as they don’t seem to have to many employees I was thinking they could be a little more helpful of my situation of lack of receipt and potentially remember me from the other day but they didn’t want to help me besides buying the game back from me? If it doesn’t work why would you want to purchase it back? I didn’t expect cash back, either the same game or credit and this was not an option. Enjoy my $12 as I won’t be back.
Negative experience: Very rude owner. Great selection of games but the owner (older man w/ beard and tattoos) will judge you and make jokes about your purchase
Fantastic experience: I love retro games. So it should be no suprise that I love FALL OUT GAMES. I've created quite a library for old NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PS2 and other systems. When you walk in this store, your are transported to your childhood.
Fantastic experience: Sick spot. Huge selection of retro games and fair prices as well.
Fantastic experience: They have anything and everything you need
Negative experience: Called for information on what they have and whats in stock. The man was very unprofessional and rude and didnt help us at all. Wont be going back
Fantastic experience: Showtime Sports Cards and Collectibles in Tempe is awesome! I sold my Pokémon cards there and got a fair, honest price. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy and smooth. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: Loved Thiss place! Awesome selection of like everything. I bought 2 games there and they test the games before you buy them. One of the games I bought I had a tiny problem that barely mattered and the worker spent 15 minutes cleaning it! The costumer service is amazing. I would definitely return here if I had the chance again :)
Positive experience: A nice little games shop. Had plenty to offer with fair and reasonable pricing. When I looked around, it seemed like everything was in pretty good condition despite the age and use of each product. They had a good array of older system games including the DS. Customer service was excellent. I know it's weird to say, but as a woman I usually get treated like I must be shopping for a husband or brother, but the gent' there was polite and treated me as if I was any regular patron who knew her stuff.
Fantastic experience: Honestly I've dealt with the same employee at multiple stores which was always funny to me, they have been always helpful even when slammed by a bunch of things at once they were still able to help everyone. They always go above and beyond when I feel like I'm being irritating with my questions. I don't know there name but as of writing this they have blue hair. Just know you're in great hands when you have them as the ones helping you. The store is always a vibe, it does have some grails, wish some games were cheaper but they're pricing is reasonable, definitely recommend this place over others
Fantastic experience: Great selection, fair prices, and an epic lego bin. A good hang on a Saturday afternoon.
Positive experience: Really like this place, everyone is pretty friendly and their prices are fair most of the time. They regularly beat out a lot of their competitors as far as pricing goes, the retro game market has not been kind to pricing recently. I just wish these guys had more stock
Fantastic experience: Great place for classic games! Tons of accessories and various bits you might need. Easily my first stop when I want anything retro! 10/10!
Fantastic experience: Was not expecting to spend any money when I stepped foot just to check out what they had. And I'm spending about a half an hour digging through their Lego bin in order to find out what they had. I found some really cool stuff from when I was a kid that I just never could afford back then.
Fantastic experience: Cool selection of games and legos. The staff was nice too, very polite!
Fantastic experience: I came here a few times thanks to MY lady's son. I bought him and myself a couple games. I came back a couple weeks later amd bought a 1t ps4 with same more games. Today if they have an Xbox x series I will buy that too. Sat Nov 30 2024 if not I'll buy a couple bags of Legos to make a mess in my grown adult room.hehe
Fantastic experience: I've visited this location twice, and I was pleased with both visits. The owner cares about quality control on what goes on their shelves and I can trust whatever I buy from them. I've purchased a few games and a DDR wii dancepad at one point and haven't had any issues. An absolute good alternative to it's corporate competition. They have a large variety of games for each console, so while you might not find a specific title you're looking for you can always find a good game to pick up.
Fantastic experience: Super helpful and understanding of the gamer struggle. Switched out a non-functional used cart for a working one for me, no sweat. If you love retro gaming shop with these guys!
Positive experience: Massive selection of games, consoles and accessories. The Lego area is pretty cool and unique. They carry complete sets and have two big bins of random loose Legos.
Fantastic experience: Such a good place I got my BC PS3 there and it was such a good price and they had a lot of cool stuff and great customer service!
Fantastic experience: Absolutely best place to get the games you want without hurting your wallet. I check here first for hard to find older games.
Fantastic experience: Excellent game selection regardless of platform, from oldest to newest. And all prices marked clearly, and everything well organized. And great guy behind the counter. Thanks!
Fantastic experience: I've been going here for years ever since they have opened their doors, and i can say i love it they are a friendly, clean, used game store with people that strive to deliver great customer service like Ryan H. Keep it up
Negative experience: Pointed out that a price of a game was about 30 dollars too high, and they said my source (pricecharting) was "not god." And then when I said they use pricecharting to price their games, they said "it is what it is." I thought this was strange, as the Fallout in Mesa and the Fallout on Tatum will look games they've had for a while up and adjust their price accordingly. Very weak. Won't come back to this location, and I'll let the other collectors know.
Fantastic experience: Don't go anywhere but here to buy video games. TRUST ME!!! This place has the best prices in the Valley and the guy that helped me was VERY cool!! I recommend everyone to come here!!
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place! Prices are fair and I've always walked away with a great deal and a smile on my face
Fantastic experience: I love this place. I got a new Nintendo Switch controller from them, works like a dream. Definitely recommend.
Fantastic experience: Went in for some DS games, found what we needed and some extra legos. Used to come here for GBA games in middle school too. Fallout Games is pretty cool.
Fantastic experience: I come to this spot here and there when I can. I always enjoy being there, the employees are always nice. They greet you and say bye when you leave, they give honest information when you have questions. All of the most recent games I have bought, along with other things such as figures have all been from here and have met satisfaction.
Fantastic experience: Grat place to shop for older video games and consoles, as well as the newer ones. They have a huge selection of used Legos at this location in Tempe.
Fantastic experience: this is the ultimate game store in the PHX metro area! selection-trades- service-price is A plus and staff is mature and knowledgeable about collectors' items and modern classics (original Xbox/ps2} wish they provided console modding services because these disk drives are going fast at the 20 year mark now.
Fantastic experience: I had a game that wouldn't play in my ps2 it looked perfect. They ran it through their disc cleaner and now it works perfectly. I have been to the other fallout games this one is the biggest and has tons of legos.
Fantastic experience: Visited from out of town. One of the best selections I’ve seen in my travels. Well maintained. Great prices too! Highly recommend going here if you are a collector!
Negative experience: I went in looking for an Xbox one s digital. Luckily they had one in stock and for the price I was looking for. This was not for myself per se. My husband and I already have the newer consoles which is the ps5 and xbox series x. Anyways when we mentioned the Xbox one s to the guy at the countertop he immediately said not get it because they corrupted the economic system by making it digital. I’m sorry? I’m here looking for a present for my siblings I know what I would like to get it. My husband also asked if they had a game in stock that he has been looking for months now and the same guy told him not to worry about it. “Don’t worry about it it’s a terrible game and as a fan of that game I know what I’m talking about” I don’t care if you are a fan or not if he wants to spend his money on a game he can. This is a business you are a sales person and you were definitely no help at all. If decides to not like the game then so be it but that’s just how things work. Man at the counter started to help other customers while another employee got out the Xbox for us. The customers next to us and the first employee that first helped us out started to proceed to talk about how the console is just terrible how they switched over to ps5 and that we are making a bad decision as he proceeds to take the console out from the shelf. Overall this was a terrible experience will not go back here. Will continue to take my business to the location on Tatum or on bell rd. Only reason we came here is because we were closer to that location.
Negative experience: Just left this store with nothing after considering several purchases. The reason we left was that the bald headed man behind the counter was extremely rude to us and the kid he was working with. I will never support a business that condones people talking down to other people and the general public as though their idiots. I also very clearly heard this man tell the young man working with him not to research the items they were considering buying and offer generic prices without considering the actual value. So something to consider before selling here. Fallout games is a great company, and we patron their many other locations frequently. Have never had a problem. Definitely don't recommend this location and we won't be back.
Negative experience: Amazing store with a great selection but unfortunately I cannot recommend shopping here because of one employee who is seemingly allways there. There is a large bald headed man who is extremely rude and condescending who works here. He not only was extremely rude and condescending to one of his fellow coworkers but proceeded to talk to my girlfriend like she was an idiot and unintelligent and assumed she was unknowlegable about any video games because of her gender. This is unacceptable behavior for someone who works with the public. I am in my early thirties and have worked with the public my entire life, this is not a good way to make your customers feel welcome.
Fantastic experience: If you're looking for any older retro games this is your store! I think they have four stores in town I've been to all four the staff is great at every single one every time I go in. They are very knowledgeable and have a great selection of games no matter what console it's for!
Fantastic experience: Really nice selection of used games and controllers consoles and memorabilia anything involving video games this is the place to go the only thing I would really stay away from is there a Nintendo switch games which are horribly overpriced 40 50 $60 for a single cartridge out of box with no instructions it seems a little pricey to me and considering they probably gave the person $5 or $10 for the cartridge. Xbox games Playstation games everything else seem to be very fairly priced they have old school game boys DS systems and some gamer clothing as well. The employees are always super helpful and they have consoles set up throughout the store for you to try and play some of the games that they have pre-loaded. Definitely worth checking out
Negative experience: Absolutely horrible costumer service. If you ask a question they do not like they will refuse you service. I highly suggest doing research before paying their prices they are well over charging for things based off of your emotional connection to the game. You can find the same stuff at much fairer prices else where.
Positive experience: Had a big list of games and was able to knock a quarter of it out at a pretty decent price. They do have a good variety of stuff old and new. Check em out if looking for physical games.
Negative experience: Went in to trade a dual sense ps5 controller today that had the original box and all the instructions as well as the cable with it. Controller was still In wonderful condition. Recent purchased the controller new myself for 200 dollars plus tax and the offer came back to be 75 dollars. Not sure if he just thought I didn’t know the value of the controller or what the issue was but I certainly won’t be back !
Fantastic experience: No matter what kind of gamer you are, definitely check this location out. Ryan and Mike are truly awesome people! The store is really fun to go to and explore, I enjoy it every time!
Fantastic experience: These guys will give you fair market value for any game your sell here. Huge collection and very professional. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: My last I bought a newer/used ps4 pro , that I called ahead to see if we're in stock ... and just My luck I buaght a ps4 pro white for 290$ after tax 312$ I been playing many ps4 games such as Ghost of Tsushima :directors cut , Ninja gaiden master collection personal 2favs ; Resident Evil and Devil may cry P.s. I buaght Ps4 skinny n Amazon for My ps4 pro it's a Bushido style skin .... after my beliefs of a Warriors code
Positive experience: They’re normally OK they sold anWII U that did not work so I have to go all the way to the Mesa location and then they sold me a defective game that did not work either. No discounts were applied. It was just a whole bunch of wasted time and money that I’ll never get back other than that they’re decent they have, few good games and some good systems. I would just double check before you leave the store and make sure everything works.!!!!
Negative experience: The reason for calling the store ahead of time is to strategically plan out a potential visit to the store to ensure the effort put into a 14 mile drive is worth it. However after being hung up on by an individual on September 22nd, 2023 @1:08pm, I have decided on ending my business relationship with this private organization and I will inform the 24 other individual I have sent to this location over the last 1.5 years to discontinue their relationship as well. On 9.22.23 @107pm, a phone call was made asking the following; "If I were to give you a description of limited edition PS5 controllers sealed in box, would you let me know if you would take a look at them or not" This person replied with "I cannot quote you over the phone until I see them in person". Not only did the question not get answered, now this individual's cognitive ability to actively listen and conjure up the correct response comes into question during our brief conversation. No point during the 46 seconds conversation did I ask for price, I simply wanted to know would you take a look at them. As I attempted to reiterate to this person that I am NOT looking for pricing over phone, he hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. As a private company wanting to growth and expansion, or continuing to offer a unique experience and products, they have now missed out on the following products Limited Edition PS5 Controllers: 1. Hogwarts Legacy- sealed 2. Final Fantasy (Japan only)- sealed 3. Spider-man edition-sealed 4. LeBron James Edition -sealed 5. God of War: Ragnarok- sealed These are extremely rare and valuable and all purchase from playstation direct with proof of purchase. Im switching to PC and have no use for these any longer. Even if the company had zero interest in any of the products, the approach to the conversation, the poor display of listening, and hanging up on customer is unacceptable behavior on any level. I do not wish for any negative action to be taken on this individual and thank you for reading this feedback (if you did)
Negative experience: went in with a lot of positivity and hope of finding a good gaming place. I said hey hello, no one answered. Not that you expect a "welcome in" from the folks there! I was looking at the ps3 games and since I was visiting for the first time I asked why the games on the shelf don't include discs. I thought maybe that shelf is just for cover arts and cases. The "not bald" guy responded with an almost threatening voice: "so PEOPLE won't steal from us". I cracked a laugh trying to make the situation calm but they kept staring at me! I bought 7-8 games in total was $50. At the checkout they were chit chatting with every other customer but me which they were dead silent. Honestly just wish the world was a better place! If you are POC reconsider going this location! I'm hearing the MESA one is nicer! I'm gonna give it a try!
Fantastic experience: Really good store with a pretty decent variety. Staff is friendly. I usually go here often and will continue till I end up leaving arizona.
Fantastic experience: As a retro gaming enthusiast, stepping into Fallout Games felt like entering a time capsule. From the moment I walked through the door, the friendly staff greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm for gaming. Their knowledge and passion for the subject were evident, making my experience at Fallout Games truly exceptional. The selection of retro games at Fallout Games was impressive, to say the least. As someone in search of a Nintendo 64, I was thrilled to find a wide array of classic titles and consoles neatly arranged on the shelves. The store's dedication to preserving gaming history was evident, as they showcased titles from various eras and consoles, catering to gamers of all preferences. The condition of the Nintendo 64 I purchased was nothing short of excellent. It was apparent that Fallout Games took great care in curating their inventory. The console was clean and well-maintained, giving me confidence in my purchase. Upon returning home, I eagerly set up my new acquisition and was delighted to discover that it worked flawlessly. This is a testament to the store's commitment to quality and ensuring customer satisfaction. Moreover, the staff's helpfulness stood out throughout my visit. They were more than willing to provide recommendations, answer any questions I had, and engage in enthusiastic discussions about gaming. Their genuine passion for the industry and willingness to share their knowledge made my trip to Fallout Games an educational and enjoyable experience. Fallout Games' commitment to customer service and their dedication to preserving the legacy of gaming truly shines. Whether you're a seasoned collector or a casual gamer, this retro video game store is an absolute gem. I highly recommend paying them a visit if you're in search of nostalgic gaming experiences and exceptional customer service. In conclusion, Fallout Games exceeded my expectations on all fronts. The friendly staff, wide selection of retro games, and commitment to quality make it a haven for retro gaming enthusiasts. My purchase of the Nintendo 64 was a resounding success, and I left the store with a renewed love for gaming's rich history. I will undoubtedly be returning to Fallout Games for all my future retro gaming needs.
Fantastic experience: I love visiting there different locations. Great stock of new and used video games and equipment. And the prices are reasonable.
Fantastic experience: This is hands down the place to go and nerd out on some retro consoles, your favorite classics, or even what is new and current. Looking for those missing cables for your Xbox? Need a new controller for your Nintendo? They got you!!! I was looking for a particular game when I came in today. Not only did they have it, but my son and I walked out with more than what we set out to buy. Every time I walk into this establishment I am always glad to see friendly faces eager to help with what I need. What even is a Gamestop? Come here if you want friendly service with a smile.
Negative experience: First time at the store and from the moment my siblings and I walked in it felt awkward. Not a "Hello or Welcome" just got stared at. Felt like they're a little discriminatory toward anyone that colored, speaking as a Native American. In the end I took my business to Bookmans and Zia's.
Fantastic experience: Best retro gaming chain in Arizona. Beats GameStupid and DKOldies into the ground on virtually every level. Reasonable/fair prices, incredible FREE warranty included on every game and game console, and a comfortable, clean store with plenty of room to move around and have some space for yourself while browsing, because of these few, exceptional reasons, I do not shop anywhere else locally for my video game needs. The staff and manager has ALWAYS been kind and courteous to me on every single visit I have been down there. If you have had anything less than satisfactory customer service from the staff at this store, than perhaps it's just you? 10/10 would recommend this Fallout Games store location.
Positive experience: Calling all 80's and 90's babies. Your childhood is in stock. I went for my Fave and was saddened at its high nostalgic price. but it was available. Huge selection of everything!
Fantastic experience: Great place to find old games. Came in while visiting Phoenix and stopped by. Ryan was super nice and helpful with my purchase and questions. He took extra care to make sure my item was clean and functional. Great job.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic video game store. Prices are super reasonable and have matched market prices on certain games for me despite sticker price. Collection is great, too. Family owned; very pleasant people.
Fantastic experience: Love love love these places. I get giddy just wondering now what game I will find there or what system. Great experience all the way around. Bought a few PS1 games and they work great.
Fantastic experience: I was in the store 3x this weekend and the manager impressed. Ryan was really informative with each customer I heard him engage. His knowledge and personableness is extremely valuable. I typically don’t get to go often but I love this store.
Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, great game selection (I wish Genesis! But hey it’s still great!) helpful and happy staff. Fallout games has been a staple and Mecca for game collecting for years. They will stand behind the quality of the games they sell and will make it right if there is an issue. This is true for both the Mesa and Tempe stores.
Positive experience: Video games, used but well taken care of. Clean place. They even have loose lego. You have to go hunting for what you need. Or just grab a bag and fill. That's was fun. I liked it
Fantastic experience: I've been visiting video game stores in the Phoenix area since the 90s and Fallout is by far my favorite of all time. Their broad selection of retro and niche hardware and games is unparalleled.
Negative experience: Good customer service goes a long way. Besides everything being overpriced it's as if they dont want to sell you anything. No wonder it's always empty. Will not be returning to this location.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this store. Games at great price. It's like walking into a video game museum I love the prices and the people are so chill and friendly. Definitely going back
Positive experience: They're really busy, at least right at the start, cuz that's when I went in, and a lot of people were there by the time I left. I went to sell some old games, and I'd say that their price for my stuff was fair, so if you want to sell old games, accessories to them, go for it. Just as long as it's not an XBOX 360. Apparently they already have too many of those.
Fantastic experience: Came for DS,3DS, and OG Gameboy games. Lots to pick from and prices are pretty nice! You won't be disappointed. Forgot to mention... they have Legos, game consoles, controllers, and so much more! Bring in your old unused games and systems for trade.
Fantastic experience: Very respectful employees who are chatty in a good way, these guys KNOW what they’re talking about and were nothing short of helpful and friendly. amazing customer service! (Also if you don’t find what you’re looking for, make sure to ask them! I found a copy of army of two: the 40th day because they double checked their inventory)
Fantastic experience: Found a brand new psp charger here and picked up a copy of Detroit for ps4. Plan on coming back in soon. Wide selection of games, console needs and anything you might need that's Vidya game related. Very friendly and they price matched the game too! Would absolutely recommend this place to my friends
Fantastic experience: Seriously, amazing. Whoever is working there at the time of this review is fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable and juggled 6 customers better than I could even deal with 1. I will be back. Yall are great
Negative experience: I just can't believe how expensive this place is primarily the Legos and the little Lego guys are at $4 each that's ridiculous! The Legos in the bins looked dirty very unsanitized and with the way Covid is spreading these days you would think they would have gloves for people to put on and use or hand sanitizer and they don't... The front door was so filthy!!!
Fantastic experience: I was provided with a great amount of information on the game disc I was trying to salvage. The professionals at Fallout Games were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure I knew what the chances of success were for resurfacing my disc, which was scratched on both sides. I also enjoyed that they had lots of older games for sale, and that they even had a huge set of bins full of Lego pieces that people can buy by weight. This is a great place to go no matter what kind of fun you plan on having. Also: the game was, in fact, salvaged by the pro at this location. Thank you for helping me resurface and save my copy of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker!
Positive experience: They have a great selection of current and especially vintage video games, systems, and peripherals! But what really surprised me was the HUGE bins of lego pieces and minifigure pieces!! They offer pre-weighed bags but they also let you pick your pieces in several different size cups for decent prices. They also offer very fair trade in prices for your used games, consoles, and accessories. You get more in trade value, but also very fair cash offers! As with any place, you will find that some of the associates are very nice and friendly, and some range from short on their customer service skills to pure arrogance. Overall, I prefer Fallout to Gamestop any day.
Negative experience: Store owner has a “unknown” store policy where you buy something from store you can’t sell it on offerup ...even tho it’s your merchandise and they got paid already?...been a loyal customer for years and got banned from all stores for selling games on offerup when I needed some spare cash for my car a/c to be fixed. Super petty of them and creepy tbh ....better off buying your games online they don’t value heavy spenders and screw you on trades when providing rare games for store credit..
Fantastic experience: Amazing store. Staff is super helpful and knows their stuff. They have a ton of used games and equipment, and keep a good amount of stock on hand. They are a great source for new/used game systems, consoles, controllers, and peripherals. They had a wall full of PS Vita stuff, what more could you want? Lol. They also have a ton of Lego stuff for sale, so if that's your jam you can get that here as well.
Fantastic experience: The store was packed with wall to wall items, all of them pretty well priced even considering what I thought they'd be (plus the selection was 100% awesome). Staff was super friendly and funny.
Fantastic experience: I've gone to this particular fallout games since I was around 8 or 9 and im 18 now and still think that they're one of the best establishments to satisfy anyone's video game needs I 100% recommend shopping here and the staff is really kind and helpful honestly I'd wanna work there someday lol
Fantastic experience: Great place for Lego and all things retro games ! Really cool store and if your into classic gaming you have to go!
Fantastic experience: This is my #1 suggestion for modern and retro gamers! They have a large and ever changing selection with favorites and things never seen before. They test games and systems to make sure they work, and they are not expensive either. They even have tips for finding, buying, and taking care of games and systems. This is an amazing store for anyone looking for games and systems!
Fantastic experience: Oh man, this place is awesome. The store has everything in stock and they even clean the disc before you buy it. They even give good suggestions for better buys.
Fantastic experience: What can I say about this place? It's a great place to buy video games from retro to current gen. They have plenty of video games to choose from. They also sell comic books and old video game magazines if your looking to buy one. I sold my old Nintendo at this place and I got a pretty decent price. I was skeptical at first, I thought I was going to get lowballed but I was wrong. Keep up the great work.
Fantastic experience: This is a nice store and great prices.I got 6 games for under $80. That's about $12. Per game.If I got the same ones at Game Stop it would have been almost $20. a game.
Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been to all of the Fallout games in AZ. This one is by far our favorite. A bit of a drive for us, but the biggest, cleanest, most stocked store with the nicest staff.
Fantastic experience: Fallout games is by far the best place to buy used video games new and retro. They carry games and systems of all eras. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They always have something you will want in one of their many glass cases of rare games. They also buy all types of video games old and new. If you plan on trading in games and you have games that are still factory sealed DO NOT OPEN THEM before trading them in. Factory sealed games retain their value more than an opened/used game and you will probably recieve more cash or credit if they are still sealed. Especially if its for an older sytstem. Fallout is your one stop shop for retro video games and hardware. They sell blu rays cheap. You can get 3 for like 8 bucks. They also sell boxed games, loose manuals for games, all the different controllers, almost anything you can think of video game related they sell. Check them out before the game you want get purchased by someone else. The good stuff literally flies off their shelves
Positive experience: Wow! It's bigger on the inside.... If you're looking for "retro" games, controllers... this is the place to go. I am looking for a PS2 but no luck. I suggest to call first and putting it on hold. I called the day before but didn't put it on hold . I still picked up a couple of games for my Sega Genesis. I have to say their prices are market competitive.
