Fantastic experience: Went in 2/10/2026 around 1pm to get some Pokémon cards mailed off to be graded. The lady working was extremely helpful. She spent time telling me what was worth spending the $25 grading fee on and what I should just keep for my personal collection. She showed me how all the shipping and grading progress is tracked on the Game Stop app, which is super convenient for a first timer like me. Highly recommend getting your stuff graded here as the staff went above and beyond for me.
Fantastic experience: I went in to trade a couple games and pick up some new stuff. The representative behind the counter was super helpful. Gave me some knowledge I've never had before and pointed me the direction of the purchases I wanted for that day. 10 out of 10 service recommend to everybody.

The girl working there was incredibly friendly, patient, and truly knowledgeable about everything in the store. She knew her games, systems, accessories, promos — all of it — and helped me find exactly what I needed without any pressure. It’s rare to meet someone who actually listens and genuinely cares about making sure you walk out happy, but she absolutely did. Super helpful, super cool, and made the whole visit quick and easy. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by this location. She’s a rockstar.
Negative experience: I went by for the free shiny Koraidon/Miraidon code printable on receipt for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as well as to preorder Pokemon ZA for Switch 2. Come to find out they never gave me the free code, so needless to say I will be cancelling my preorder and suggest if anyone is trying to do the same to check your receipt carefully before you leave if you choose to use this location.
Negative experience: The dude working there 100% is a liar. I bought my son a PREOWNED game from there 2 days ago. On the preowned rack, with a preowned sticker, and at a preowned price. We go in to trade it for a different game at the exact same price. The guy working lies and says I bought it brand new so I have to sell it to them instead of trade it. So instead of a straight trade I owe him $15. He’s a liar. I bought it for $24.99 the same price as the other preowned game. Bottom line is don’t come here. The guy is a liar and a cheater. I had the game 2 days!! It should have been a straight trade. Did i mention he’s a LIAR!!

Negative experience: Awful customer service. When you call in, you are asked if you can hold and then while the phone isn't muted for the 15 minutes i waited, you are able to hear 3 to 4 transactions occuring with no response back to my call. Decided to hang up and call back to listen to the guy tell me that it was all one large family with several transactions and that it really wasn't that long of a wait. Nice worker & he can keep his sarcasm. Good one Gamestop. March 1st 12:30p Apparently needs more help at this location.

Fantastic experience: Not a huge selection of Xbox games, so we went farther out to the Ahwatukee location. When we got home one of our CD’s was cracked so we went back to this location to return it. Ben had excellent customer service and swapped it out right away, even throwing in a free 1 year warranty! It’s hard to find good customer service these days and we were happy that the issue was resolved so well.

Negative experience: Staff sorta felt like they didn’t care too much for the customer, and didn’t stop shelving extras and add on despite me telling them several times I didn’t want anything else.

Fantastic experience: We have only been to this location two times but I frequent the Gamestops closer to home more than I care to thanks to my kids. I think you have to understand that you get paid a fraction of what you think a game or phone is worth, for trades, but if you put the credit toward a new purchase it helps offset the price and honestly it's kind of hard to sell games on Craigslist or eBay or maybe if you are a busy parent that's just not how you want to spend your time. I found the store to be smaller than some stores I have been in but the employees to be friendly and helpful. I would visit again. PS they have a creepy recording that says you are being watched but it's a recording and not because of you looking sketchy!!

Negative experience: Nerd alert! These people working here seem to have been the kids that got picked on in junior high for being on the varsity chess team! They are disrespectful to me and my girl everytime we go in!! I came in with my old phone LGG7 with a cracked screen and the lightbulb was burnt out plus I had a lock code on it so we couldn't get into the phone so they denied me and told me to wait till next day when manager was in.Came in manager denied me because I didn't have the box, came back in with box got denied again because they couldn't get into the phones system settings..so they make me go back to at&t and get my proof of purchase receipt from a couple years ago so that way they knew it wasn't stolen then finally gave me my money and charged a f***** fee for having to take a broken cell phone which was the price of bringing it in with the charging cord, so pretty much stole an extra 2$....one person will always refuse my controllers o matter what and another will take them anyways! This is a bad way of doing business when they just look at you stuff and say..."its dirty so your not getting as much money as you should because you didn't dust it off before coming in" like sorry I live in a 2nd story apartment where the seals let in dust and dirt all the f**** time and we have to change the air filter weekly....its f***** Azizona! Land of the sun and dust....idiot former gamers gone broke and having to work for the man so they pay for their moms srp and continue to live in the basement

Negative experience: I went in for a simple question about a warrantied game return. The employee on the floor was confrontational and talked down to us almost immediately- dismissing us and everything we said and would not let us get a word in edgewise before rudely cutting us off. Now look- I'm not usually the type of person who rates a business based off one bad egg. Perhaps I was the 19th customer he'd talked to that day and all of the preceding were terribly impatient and didn't listen to reason. Heck- for all I know, the man's dog could've gotten run over this morning or something depressing like that. But it is important to recognize that YOU are the face of your company to EVERY customer who walks through that door. It is utterly unacceptable to be argumentative and disrespectful. I've purchased literally hundreds of dollars of merchandise from that store in the past- but after today, I'll be going elsewhere. I recommend you do the same.
