Positive experience: It's closing in a week this store only at Arizona Mills Mall
Negative experience: I have shopped at this location twice and the employee named “Wolfe” has absolutely terrible customer service. He has the most monotone energy I have ever seen from somebody working a social job, seems annoyed by every possible question you could ask him, and when I say “thank you, have a good day” after he rings my stuff up, he just stares me blank in the face and didn’t say a single thing or even smile… BOTH TIMES! If anybody’s wondering if the guys just having a bad day, he isn’t, that’s just his personality. I have no clue how he’s allowed to work there when he can’t be the least bit nice to a single customer. Other than that, the products and what not are fine, just your standard GameStop. I’ve only been in twice so I can’t speak on behalf of the merchandise or much else, but both times I walked out pissed because of this terrible worker who makes me feel like I’m wasting my time. Do not come here unless you’re okay with having a chance at talking to somebody who’ll make you never want to step foot into a retail store again.

Negative experience: Rudest employee I've ever encountered at a gamestop. I was the only person in the store and he would not acknowledge or say hi, pretended I wasnt there while he was stocking shelves, when i asked him to get me something behind the counter he acted annoyed. Fantastic experience: Women superhero superhero superhero women with a pier for a reason and I love it you don't have a great time to get a pier for a lot to do anything to be able and women don't care for the money to get a pier for sure and women don't care about it you have to do it you have to do it you have a great time to get a lot to do with the world and women are not that way to help themselves and I don't have to be a pier 5 and women are the best friend who has the same way as the best friend of mine and I love you too Hope you have a great day and I
Negative experience: They don't explain you have to pay for the pro membership and the manager Wolfe or whatever his name is does not have very good customer service skills he litteraly argued with me as a customer about what explained to me when why would I pay for a membership when I dont shop at gamestop that often.

Negative experience: Dear GameStop Team, I’ve always had good experiences at GameStop, but unfortunately, today was different at the location at AZ Mills Mall Game Stop. I visited your store and entered right after a couple who had been waiting outside. There was an employee named “Wolfee” assisting customers at the time. I noticed he was noticeably rude to the customers ahead of me, and unfortunately, my interaction with him was similar. His attitude came across as passive-aggressive, dismissive, and unprofessional, especially when I asked a few questions about a product. It genuinely felt like he had a chip on his shoulder. Having worked in customer service myself, I know how important it is to treat people with respect and create a welcoming environment. This kind of behavior not only reflects poorly on the individual but also on the store and company as a whole. I’m not sure if he was having a tough day, and I hope everything’s okay on his end, but it might be worth addressing, as it left a negative impression. Positive experience: America's few remaining toy store, depressing!
Negative experience: Terrible location. Placed an order for pick up well within the window to receive it the same day. I waited 2 hours after ordering before I decided to go browse the store while I waited for my order. I arrived and the store was closed with a sign saying "be back soon". Little did I know the employee working there had walked past me and the store at least twice while I waited outside. The employee came back and I inquired about my order. He said it hadn't shown up in the system but I could cancel the order and buy it in person. That didn't make sense to me so I chose to wait. I went back home and long behold my order was magically cancelled due to "payment issue" yet the hold for the purchase is still on my card. I like GameStop, but this location should have been one of the many that closed.
Negative experience: Two employees took a break at the exact same time and disappeared for over 30 mins which was past the posted time on the door. I’ve worked in retail before, and I don’t know of any store that lets the entire store go on a break in the middle of a busy day. We waited and watched about 25 customers easily in that time span. Terrible business decisions. Alternate breaks .
Negative experience: I wanted to buy Dragon Quest Monster The Dark Prince the listed price was on sale for 29.99 instead of 39.99. When I went up to pay the employee Rob was very dismissive, saying the sale was over and refused to honor the listed price, so I didn’t buy it. I was overall very disappointed at the lack of customer service and help.
Fantastic experience: 1/24/25 around 6:30 pm forgot employees name but helped me with a trade in and buying new xbox- everything went really well
Fantastic experience: Great GameStop. Lavender was very helpful, gave us the brand new, sealed cases for all 4 games I bought.
Negative experience: Carded me for a rated M game when i doubt i look under 17 also said the game i was getting had alot of inappropriate scenes in it which by far all the research amd even playing it for over 3 hours now has no inappropriate content.
Fantastic experience: I should've expected this, but the memes were wrong and everything was reasonably priced. The clerks were friendly and the place had an overall chill vibe. I spent a few minutes looking for the PS4 games, which were in the back left corner. Took me a few minutes to find, but I should've looked harder. I didn't find any games I wanted, but I will definitely come back later to see if there are other games.

Negative experience: They sold me a headset that they said was compatible with my console and it wasn’t even compatible. But because its open they won’t take it back and give me my money.

Negative experience: Game Stop I Hope You See This So today I went to GameStop and I wanted to purchase a wireless headset for my Xbox and I was greeted nicely, and the gentleman wanted to know what I wanted or needed help with I told him “yes, I’m looking for wireless headsets for the Xbox and do you have any recommendations?” He proceeded to show me his recommendations and without a second thought I took his opinion because at GameStop the employees are typically the professionals or the guides to lead you to the best options. Then I proceeded to purchase one of the headphones that he recommended; I went back home to test the headphones and unfortunately the headphones were not compatible with Xbox. I went back to GameStop and wanted to get a different pair of headphones. Although I did purchase the warranty which should cover defectiveness I was almost not guaranteed the new set of headphones just because they weren’t damaged. I was just a little upset about this because first of all they were recommended to me. Additionally, the employee told me that it is my fault and that I didn’t do my due diligence to review any products that is compatible with Xbox, which is understandable,however, in the eyes of the shopper, the GameStop employees are almost professionals to us so of course I’m going to take his recommendations in any game, console, or even headphones that he does recommend. I do want to say that I am thankful for the manager for overhearing the conversation because he was able to allow me to purchase a different set of headphones although I didn’t get all my money back, which is understandable because it’s business. I only paid an extra $20 with the addition of my trade-in for a new headset. At the end of the day I do understand everyone is just doing their job and there are certain lines you can’t cross because of the totem pole, but the comment I received was very unprofessional.
Negative experience: This place is almost empty. I'll be surprised if it's still open in a year. There aren't very many good new releases out, which doesn't help. Much of the store is shirts, toys, and "collectables" that are neat to see but not to buy. It's a cool place to visit, but they won't stay in business long without people buying stuff. At least the lines were short or nonexistent. Staff looked bummed out having to be there, maybe just bored. Hopefully, the gaming industry will actually develop some good games to generate buzz/excitement. Without it, this place will join Blockbuster soon.

Negative experience: A month ago we preordered the Tears of the Kingdom Collectors Edition from this location. They assured us that it would be available for pickup on the 12th; this was an important detail and question because we are moving out of state on the 13th. When we went to pick up our paid-for preorder, they informed us that they did not have anymore units available. What exactly is the point of a preorder if the item has been given to those who simply bought it same-day. We are now out the cost of this item, which is quite expensive. And we never would have given them this money if they hadn't lied to us when taking our order. We will be perusing a refund. I would like to warn other customers of this store's dishonest practices.

Tried to tell me that they wouldn't allow me to swap out a used controller I had purchased when the one they sold me had it's face plate pop off the first time I used it... WOW Another location went above and beyond. So much so that I payed $130 extra after returning it for the elite xbox controller. The other location got 5 ⭐
