Negative experience: It’s been a minute since I’ve been in a GameStop and today cemented why I probably won’t go back. I walked in, didn’t see anyone working behind the counter, no hello or anything. I had some questions, but I guess they were in the back or feeling shy, I don’t know, and all the trading cards there are not at MSRP? They had like scalper prices but what do I know ‍♀️ Everything in there seemed to be overpriced.

Negative experience: Totally felt unwelcome the two times I came to this specific store. It’s like they are bothered to help. I came in to order some games and ask question about compatibility between certain Nintendo DSs and they literally told me to go online because it’s much “easier”. For who? Not for me. The girl there just seemed that she was so over it. Why even have open store if you throw us to go online all the time? Last time I stop here.

Negative experience: Vises their old location years ago and pre-ordered a game. They had no signs indicating they are moving locations. So 2 months later I found the store had moved. Visited their new location to pick up my game and was told my old pre-order was no longer valid and would have to pay full price again to buy my game. They made sure this customer would never step foot or order from GameStop now or in the future!

Negative experience: I came to exchange a game that didn't work with our PS5 Came across a employee named RAY he was having a hard day first told me he couldn't exchange because I didn't have a receipt ok fair I then ask if he can buy it because I was not taking it back home if It didn't work with my console ok he says he'd buy it at 4 dollars again ok I'm not taking it home he asks for a ID I went to the car got my passaport because who won't take a passport he then continues to say "I need one with picture " again the passport has one I say ok u know what it's too much for 4 dollars I take myself home and look for this receipt sure enough I find it ok I drove back and again RAY is still having a bad day and giving me trouble he won't take my passaport this time because you have to scan it he gave me the most uptight stare and trouble he needs to find another profession maybe and this store would be better get it together people we all bleed the same and that was just racism

Negative experience: Horrible customer service, guy in the front name Rayshawn is rude as hell, asked him to see some trading cards and wouldn’t let us even check the back of the box asked him if he had more product and said no when we saw more of it under the display he pulled out .

Negative experience: Its a fine store, but employees dont seem to know what they are doing, including the manager. They claim they dont take trade ins for a lot of things that are clearly listed on the website, I had to walk them though how to find it on the site just to sell a gamecube adapter for the switch. They couldnt figure out the controller. When it comes to trade ins, I would avoid this location.

Fantastic experience: So I came into Game Stop for the first time for a birthday gift and I literally had no clue where to start however Joey was super awesome! He toured me around the store and showed me everything from top to bottom. His customer service skills were out of this world! I wish there were more Joey's in the world! All in all for my first visit to Game Stop it was phenomenal due to the outstanding customer service I experienced. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone interested in gaming.

Negative experience: Just a heads up! They will not price match to their own website. They have a game in store for 39.99 but on their website it is 29.99. Was told by 2 employees that per their manager they will not price match to their own website unless I have a pro membership. Went to target and got it for $29.99

Negative experience: The two people working on Easter Sunday have the worst customer service. I wanted to trade in two items, and since I walked in he already had a horrible attitude. I said I wanted to trade something in and he looked at my series x with a face and asked anything else ? I was like yes this Xbox one . He was like well did you reset it ? I was like yes , he’s like well I’m going to have to mark both defective because It would take 3 days to update because our internet is slow ? Um excuse me sir that’s not my problem . I’ve brought different reset consoles to gamestops and they have never minded ! EVER . They have never made such a huge deal about me resetting an item . it seems like he was just being lazy and didn’t wanna do his part. He had the nastiest attitude like he didn’t want to do anything and was just trying to avoid working . Like isn’t it apart of your job to test it out ?! Get some new employees.

Negative experience: How can I start I bought a brand new ps4 controller, next day I decide to play the controller doesn't even turn on or charged bring it to the store to see if they could swapped it and the store associate says it I brought a different controller when on the receipt says white and controller being white worst customer service if I could give then no star I would.

Fantastic experience: The guys here were super cool & helpful. Dude let me know about some great specials they were running, which got me another year Pro Membership for FREE...Then gave me a $5 coupon plus a magazine for free. (& Yes, I've been charged at others for the Mag!) ⁴Super friendly & nice, I'll definitely be coming back to THIS GameStop. I've had some really AWFUL experiences at other GameStops...but this location never lets me down. 2 thumbs up! ....& a BILLION thumbs down to half of the other locations around town that constantly have me leaving dumbfounded & frustrated with how indifferent & uninterested they are to my feelings / ANY sort of Customer Service! At this store though you can count on ALWAYS having a good experience! Keep it up fellas! Not too sure what happened to the front door though....LOL

Fantastic experience: I forget the gentleman's name (noon on 1-27 @ Arbrook), but he's by far the best rep hands down! I went in freaked out about my defective xbox one console, and left happier than I can imagine! He kept calling other stores until he found one that could actual resolve my issue... this experience will keep me coming back for sure!

Negative experience: Stopped in to purchase a console. They had empty boxes on their shelves, which isnt unusual when purchasing a high dollar item. Stood around for ten minutes while the employee answered a million questions for the guy ahead of me. The clerk finally acknowledges me (the guy in front of me is still asking questions) to inform me that the item isnt in stock. Why have empty boxes with prices and a skull on the shelf if the item is out of asock??? I couldve been in and out in if those hadn't been on the shelf, instead of waiting for an employee to have time to help. Made no sense to me at all.

Negative experience: Worst visit. Jonny assisted me with a question on if my 19 inch funko came in answer was no. Then I asked when the promo ended buy 2 get 1 free ended he didnt know so he pawned the question off to he co-worker who was already helping someone...while jonny started helping someone else. I WAS LEFT THERE STANDING!! Rude!! I just wanted to see if I could get a raincheck on the promo since my order was late. I've been in customer service 17 yrs. You dont Leave a customer till Your done helping.

Fantastic experience: You would think Been to One Game Stop, been to them all. Not the case. My daughter and I use GameStop as a bonding moment. Talking, laughing as we browse through the games and unique merch. Our favorite GameStop is located @ 3810 S. Cooper St. Arlington TX 76015. Been going there since our WII days. Highly knowledgeable staff. Just the right amount of helpful. Clean and organized store.
