Fantastic experience: They had this awesome Sailor Venus figure that I picked up! Fantastic customer service, awesome cashier who was super nice and inviting. Loved the vibe of this place!

Fantastic experience: Jason at retro madness is great!!! They fixed my ps5 controller and even threw in a free hot wheel for my little boy how about that!!! Bottom line go see these guys they'll take care of you!!!! Saved me some money from having to buy a new ps5 controller too!!!

Fantastic experience: This is my personal favorite store out of the three Retro Madness locations. The people, games, collectibles, and energy that goes in and out of this store makes it so easy to spend hours here just vibing. Jason is super helpful every time, the way he listens and openly communicates makes finding gifts for my friends much easier since I’m a classic over thinker. Retro Madness rocks, they’re the only stores I feel comfortable going to exchange and purchase physical games these days.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience from the moment I called all the way to picking up my device. Jason has great customer service and answered all of my questions. They fixed my kiddos' broken Xbox; they said it would take 2 weeks, but they fixed it in under a week.

Fantastic experience: Took a Switch Lite for a joystick replacement and was told it would take up to 3 weeks but got it back in 3 days. I definitely recommend this place for small repairs. Also, for buying some retro devices and other things like fridge magnets.

Fantastic experience: Got a battery replaced in my Gameboy Color Pokémon game, in and out in 10min. I also picked up some games for my son to play! They were very friendly and attentive and gave great recommendations. They have an awesome selection of retro games too.

Fantastic experience: Can y'all fix controllers

Negative experience: This place broke my Xbox more where it doesn’t even respond to the power button, they broke the frame where the trim snaps on, they misplaced 8 capacitors and some weren’t even soldered on correctly which means connecting to nothing. I brought it in for it shutting off after powering on with the Xbox logo on tv screen showing. After getting it back from them it no longer powered on it just didn’t respond whatsoever. He told me it can’t be fixed, due to water damage. So I took it immediately to Rosales super tech in Fort Worth. He opened it up that same day and showed us it was broken on the trim clips, the hdmi was not positioned correctly, the capacitors all mixed into the wrong spots (he even downloaded the schematics to show us each one that was incorrectly placed). He showed us through the microscope also where it wasn’t even connected. He even showed us where Retro’s tech might have mistaken water damage but it’s just how the boards look they have like a white pale lining of strips. Retro madness said it wasn’t possible to fix it whatsoever yet Rosales super tech llc repaired it in one day ! DONT BRING CONSOLE REPAIRS HERE! Take it to a honest and skilled professional! Like Rosales ! If you take it to retro madness you might as well throw away your system since it’ll come back inoperable and cost you more money having to fix what they mess up with another tech. Plus this store can’t even tell you more about what happened or what was exactly diagnosed with your console since the tech isn’t in the shop, they just send it to him for 7 days. Reminds me of a chop shop to be honest. Then they come up with some excuse why it’s in even worse condition then prior to bringing it to them so they aren’t liable. Save yourself time/money and go with a professional! GO TO ROSALES SUPER TECH LLC ! Last pic is the Xbox One S up and running after Rosales fixed our baby!!! In one day!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to peruse if your are in the market for vintage strategy guides, starwars and more. We even found some obscure items to add to our menagerie of toys and video games for my family and I for a fair price. Rather than throw away or give away they even offer console repair for the ones that you have sitting around in your house. We highly recommend Logan for his friendly customer service, he is always willing to overlook our trades.

Fantastic experience: I was able to find the original Nintendo DS only for $80 and the gentleman even held it for me while I drove there. It even came with a charger. Excellent service, the Nintendo works perfect and now I can relive the moments of Pokémon Sapphire. Great place! No Bakugan, but that’s okay. That might be too much of a niche lol

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing service! Went in for an Xbox repair and got the power supply exchanged for free! They aren’t going to make you waste money on things you don’t need, and have really cool games and merchandise on stock, especially ones that are discontinued or aren’t being produced anymore. I highly recommend going here for repairs, or just to shop.

Positive experience: Good little video game shop. Jason and Billy are always willing to help. You can get updates for new merchandise on Facebook too so that helps a lot

Positive experience: It's got quite a bit of selection for vintage/past game systems. Toys, collectibles, etc. All right prices for underappreciated gems. I took away stars because we entered and were immediately hit by the smell of weed. Also, the older guy that was there didn't interact with us at all, not even to greet us. I'd suggest going to the RetroMadness in Ft. Worth instead. They've got great customer service and a better selection in my opinion.

Negative experience: Literately bought a game system and wanted to return less than 30 min. There is nothing that says all sales final. They would not return my item! Disappointing to say the least. I will be looking into this in further investigation.

Fantastic experience: Great store full of a lot of retro gems between toys, console games, and even some connections to get your older consoles powered up and working. The one in Arlington has had cool staff each time I’ve stopped in, very helpful and non assuming or pushy of sales. I plan to return many times.

Fantastic experience: This is like the old version of GameStop but better,they got old games ranging from NES to PS3 (They also sell Xbox One and PS4 games too).I bought a few games from them at a reasonable price.I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for any particular game you're looking for:)

Negative experience: This is a good place to find vintage games. 4 starts because I've found some of thier games vary in price from location to location. The plus side is they are always open to work with you on price. Edit 5/28/22 This place will rip you off on toys. Look at these over over priced marvel figures....they don't even have the peices for Korg in them! I literally just bought all of these at walmart for retail price. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Fantastic experience: Always very helpful when I need assistance replacing a game cartridge battery or need other wires/hookups for my consoles. They also have a fun selection of vintage figures that you don't really find super often at other vintage/retro shops - every time I visit I find something new!

Negative experience: Horrible Experience Too many words, leaving me speechless. Bad business and poor friendship. I support good people, who are thankful. Owner became greedy, disrespectful, uncaring, and overall decided to verbally harass me in the store. I walked out and I would never come back to any of his locations. He did not apologize and he did not say sorry about being in the wrong. Just pure disrespect, but I don't worry as karma will eventually get back to him.

Positive experience: How much for you guys to clean a PS4 with water damage?

Negative experience: My ps4 has an issue where it won’t display on my brand new smart TV that i got less than a year ago. So i brought it here just for them to charge me $50 to clean out the disc drive which didn’t work at all as it still didn’t display on the screen. I then returned it here and told them it still couldn’t display on my screen and then i picked it up 4 days later for them to tell me it was just a software update and they also told me that they tested it for an hour and said there were no problems at all which i find hard to believe because it STILL didn’t display on my screen as i tried numerous methods. Not very helpful at all

Fantastic experience: Great shop for retro games and an abundance of. Collectibles/toys. They do a good job of drawing the line of reasonable and gouging you on price (not every shop like this is). Stop in at least once a month to see what new games they got in via trade-in on GameCube, Wii U, and 3DS. Staff inside is always friendly.

Negative experience: Took my PS4 to get repaired, told it would be a week fix, turned into 2 weeks just to be told it was "unrepairable." Also bought 2 games here, to get home and find one disc has a very visible(and I am blind as a bat) dent, which makes it unplayable, it was fried. How is it that it made it to the shelf? I took it to another game store and they were immediately able to tell me the same thing withing 2 seconds of looking at the disc. Sad to say I will be doing business elsewhere. **Update** Took it to Computer Guys of Dallas and they had it diagnosed, fixed, and all under $80 and it only took 2 DAYS!! They were just as confused as I was as to why it was labeled "unrepairable."

Fantastic experience: My PS4 had a HDMI port in need of repair, I found this place not too far away and when I called about gaming repair and prices I was surprised at how low the price was. They had my ps4 for about a week and repaired it as good as new for the low price of $92. I reccomend this place if you have a system in need of.repair.

Have been 5-6 times in the last few months and always walked out with a few things. Just recently bought an NES top loader in the best condition I'd ever seen one in and at a more than fair price. As, I asked to see a game, it was clearly a big deal as the associate working was acting like I was interrupting his day to show me his products. Someone else came in while I was there and the associate was rude to him as well. I can't justify anyone going to a store for too high prices and poor customer service. I can't speak for the other location, but the Arlington store is no good. *old Review* There is a guy in this store who said he was super tough, but then he slammed a game drawer with his hip... Service was okay Selection is not. Pricing is too high

Positive experience: Took my switch to get repaired for a broken screen, they did absolutely wonderful job and fixed my broken speakers on top of it that I didn't mention to them. Also bought retro games. I would definitely be coming back here

Negative experience: I would not advise anyone to take a Xbox console here for repair. I took mine to this exact location on 12/17 for them to repair the HDMI output port. They quoted me $85 dollars to repair. I called 2 weeks later to check status and they told me that it was “beyond repairable...too much damage to the board”. I then take (the same day) to another repair shop that didn’t have much better service (they kept two weeks before saying tech was no longer at store), but eventually informed me that when RetroMadness pulled out the HDMI port THEY damaged the board beyond repair.

Negative experience: Gentlemen currently working in the store as of 2:56pm are rude and act as though customers are bothering them. My husband waited 20 minutes for one gentleman to acknowledge that he had a question and was huffed at for asking to see a game in a case, the other the gentleman couldn't be bothered to get off the computer and stop shopping for sneakers and listening to highly inappropriate music. They also don't seem to understand that they should be greeting customers as they walk into the store. We won't be back to this location. Your associates we're not assisting with any other trades. Don't BS me. There was no one else in the store.

Positive experience: I have had to return my ps4 here 2 times and it still isint working properly I’m really hoping they can fix it this third time it still worked for the most part the first time I brought it. It’s just been more and more issues since the first visit. However I brought my ps4 for a disk drive repair when I got it back it was given to me with a hard drive problem, I returned it and it has now been fixed a second time they are fixing it for a third time now but at least covered the 2nd and 3rd visit under warranty I appreciate them standing with their customers

I stumbled upon this place and walked out with a classic rpg on my list of games I've been horading to stream on my twitch channel PyroRocker. I was pleasantly surprised at their selection of toys and figures as well. I will definitely be back soon!
