Negative experience: I hate to say I didn't appreciate being lied to about the "mandatory" pro subscription with a console purchase. Juan and Jean straight up lied. I hope by obligating me to subscribe is worth the complaints I made and I will not stop until I get my 25 bucks. I called customer service and they acknowledged that there is no such policy and I had the right to choose to subscribe or not. Be aware of this scam.

Fantastic experience: I recently picked up the new Nintendo Switch 2 from GameStop, and the experience was great from start to finish. The staff was friendly, answered all my questions about the console’s features, and even helped me set up a preorder so I wouldn’t miss launch day. When I came in to pick it up, the process was quick and organized—no long lines or confusion.
Negative experience: The staff is really rude and the manager don’t have no experience

Negative experience: Scammers. Instead of offering the benefits of a pro membership, they try to make it mandatory for the purchase of a console (PS5 Pro). Gamestop corporate is partially to blame since they require x amount of pro membership signups per store to satisfy their market metrics. Sad all around. Never doing business with again. DO BETTER.
Negative experience: This place is a joke came here to buy a console PS5 pro the staff told me I have to be a membership to get the ps5 pro an extra $25 that membership is useless and pointless the console is digital this is why people stopped coming to GameStop overcharging just to get a console
Positive experience: I was here on Sunday (3/23/25) and didn’t understand why the sign was there before closing, but when the guy came to open the door, he helped us and other 2 sets of groups. We ended up not buying anything but they were so rude to the gentlemen behind the counter who appeared to be fighting illness. It’s important to give employees in this kind of place some grace. Although I couldn’t trade in my games because the machine was down, this GameStop staff is usually mellow and knows their stuff about trading cards and gaming
Negative experience: I dont know who was on shift today March 23rd, 2025 but they decided to put up a sign saying we’ll be right back 30 min before closing and didn’t come back until it was time to close I’ve never in my life seen this at any job. Who decides to take a brake right before closing it’s ridiculous.
Fantastic experience: My home Game Stop. Been here since I was a teen. Love the employees there. Treat them like humans and bros, they'll take care of you. Of course they can't make a miracle happen because [Game Stop rules] but they look out.

Negative experience: When i went to open the door it was closed, i was knocking for about 5 minutes, then the customer came to open the door, he didn't hold the door, didn't greet, had a straight face. He had both of his airpods connected and was playing a game while i was waiting at the cashier to buy my item. Terrible customer service.
Negative experience: Customer service is trash, bought a faulty controller the receipt clearly says I have 30 days to make an exchange, so how they change their policy to 15 days and even though I am within the 30 day exchange limit they refuse to do it as a per my binding receipt I call customer service and the told the store can override it but they refuse to, and the store manager Juan was no help and just kept rolling his eyes like and talking trash in the back of the store acting like Im the problem. I am a pro member and purchase the product Dec 26 and tried to exchange it on Jan 18

Shopping there is a treat because the entire store is well organized, clean and stocked.
