Negative experience: Came in for a large trade-in, few hundred dollars worth of items. Rude and incompetent staff refused to trade any items because of one missing power adapter despite having the cables for other systems. This will be the last time I visit any GameStop location. The lack of professionalism exemplified at this store and others is why the company will inevitably go out of business and won’t be missed. Steer clear of them.

Fantastic experience: Mario is the reason I keep coming back to this GameStop! He’s always so kind, patient, and genuinely great with people. I get my Pokémon cards graded here, and he always handles everything with amazing attention to detail. You can tell he really cares about what he does. Negative experience: Did not like my experience. Shop seemed to have everything, but I was there just trying to know how much a Switch2 cost First thing I heard was that they only have a ‘gamestop bundle’ which included things that I didn’t want, such as a membership and an extended guarantee. I was like ‘Okay, how much?’, but no. First I had to give him my email address and full name. After he finished entering this informarion in his computer he asks me to slide my card No, I just want to know the price! okay it is $649,30 the entire bundle. After I said ‘thank you I’ll give it a thought’ he was clearly upset as if I have wasted his time.. I’m not buying anything there nor even coming back

Negative experience: I want to post this because of what I saw. I came in to ask a question and the manager did help me. The problem was the manager, named Desiree i believe, cussed multiple times in helping me regarding other employees and stores which I found absolutely unprofessional. I saw her be absolutely rude and disrespectful to the male employee working there. It felt like it was a undercover tv show. How this person Desiree became a manager baffles me. I felt extremely uncomfortable in the store and will not return to this store knowing this company has people like her not only employed but in Management positions. I wish I could give a zero star rating.

Negative experience: Please be careful with attempting to do a submit to PSA through this GameStop location in aventura mall. Everyone from in-store clerks, to district manager are the worse of the worse! I just went through one of the worse experiences in my life! I paid 95$ for a submit, 9 days past and there was no update on the app, I contacted the store and the clerk told me the only person that was “trained” to do the submits to PSA quit on them out of nowhere. Mind you, I just dropped off 6 cards valued at 2,000$ ungraded, my immediate thought was this employee saw my cards and said hell with this and decided to quit and take my cards. The clerk stated over the phone they don’t know what to do now with my submit, got aggressive over the phone extremely unprofessional as I told them to please cancel my submit especially since my cards were still at the store and I felt my cards and their values were at a huge jeopardy. I went back and forth for days trying to retrieve my cards, I called PSA directly and spoke to a supervisor and they stated there was no reason for GameStop to withhold my property. I arrived that same evening to the store while attempting to speak to GameStop rep over the phone who stated they would be able to talk to the in-store clerk for a resolution. As I arrived so did the district manager, I explained to him the situation, he arrived with boxes to unload with a fellow worker. But of them started screaming at and threatening me to stop looking at them crazy, and they would “give me my cards back” the district manager went to the back office where the cards were stored, came back out to the store and slapped all six cards on my hands aggressively. It wasn’t even worth my energy to deal with these miserable individuals. But the crazy part about it, if it was the other way around I can only imagine how these unprofessional no manners no morales individuals would have reacted. I’m begging you all, never get your cards graded at this location! It’s a disgrace to the community, shame on all of you involved in this matter, do better ! People work extremely hard to be dealing with this non sense! They don’t even deserve a 1 star, I’d grade them a zero if I could!

Negative experience: They try to Scam you into buying the GameStop pro membership with auto annual renewal. Representative literally said in order to buy a game console from us you must purchase a GameStop pro membership. You can literally go to Best Buy, Amazon, target or Walmart and get it without any additional membership fees. So I called GameStop customer service line directly to confirm this in which they responded that is not true and they will report the store and representative. Imagine going with your children to buy them a gift that they are excited about to have the store employee try his best to lie, deceive, and scam you right in front of your children.

Negative experience: I bought a PS5 pre-owned basketball 2024 game as a present for Christmas for my son and didn’t work on the PS5, it was damaged or for some reason not supported by the console. I called them for a replacement, refund or credit and they didn’t help me because I lost my receipt. Even that they have a bar code for the game box and my credit card invoice, or event the store cameras can proof I purchase the game, they say no and did not give me any solution. Unfortunately I will never buy in their shop again and I hope this doesn’t happen to more customers. Shame on Game Stop, I was only asking for customer service care.

Al manager “henrry o Heney” que se supone que es el que debe ayudar a resolver los errores que se cometen en su tienda no es capaz de ayudar y asesorar al cliente para ayudarlo a resolver y su servicio al cliente es pésimo. Positive experience: My experience was bad. The guy there on 06/22/23 sold me a super Mario 3D world pre-owned disc and I also paid for the warranty, specially because this disc was pretty dirty (very visible). I asked him if he has another disc and he said it was the last one. I went home and it didn’t work. The frustration of my 7 year old kid and me was GIANT. Fortunately I paid for the warranty. A day after, I did a trip again to te Aventura Mall (pretty far from city) and claim for the warranty and be refunded but surprisingly the same guy as before put a label on disc as “damaged” or something and gave me another disc! That was not the last one! That was very unfriendly from his side not to offer me another disc when I asked for that because that one was very dirty (and possibly damaged). By the return day I had already ordered a disc from eBay. So I am in the hassle of stopping momentarily that shipment just to see if this second disc works. That guy could saved me and my daughter the frustration of a damaged disk and the long trip and the hassle in eBay.

Negative experience: Went to buy a ps5 and the workers was rude as can be and told me that I had to add insurance & I had to pay 14.99 for something I won’t use ! Didn’t take insurance! Got home controller won’t connect , come to find out either controller faulty or USB FAULTY!! I called and JORDAN THE GAMESTOP EMPLOYEE RESPONSE WAS CALL PS 5 !! Negative experience: At this gamestop I came here to buy a game once and I was pestered and harassed by the The staff to buy a $15 subscription, they continuously asked me over 5 times, Even after I said no thanks ( The manager does not help, he just encourages it). Another time I came to buy a controller and the employee tried to sell me 3 things that I didn't even need. Note there are some good people who work here but Most are also just people who will try every possibility of making you pay for something extra. I can understand why people go here because it is the only game stop within a given radius. But honestly I would say just buy the games or toys online it would be a much better experience than rolling the dice and trying getting good service here, I personally am never going to this game stop again, I much rather go to a gamestop where the people actually care about games and aren't Trying to squeeze every cent out of your pocket and making you feel uncomfortable with the constant badgering of buying more stuff from them.

Fantastic experience: Great location that seems to be getting better with each visit. Tons of items you wouldn't imagine or have thought of outside of games, including apparel, gifts, tech such as keyboards , etc. and even some housewares. Pricing is very competitive with other stores and they price match. Service has been getting better here, even having helped me with a complicated pre-order issue.

Negative experience: This was the worst experience, ordered my son games for his birthday ,he recieved one that was defective and the other 2 he wanted to exchange they gave me a hard time even after showing the receipt, then convinced me to get 2 other games , I specifically asked if I can return them and they said I has 7 days came back a day later and they said I can only get back 11 dollars instead of the 30 I paid . Convinced me to get their membership and said I can buy digital items but when I tried it was not allowed, called customer service who said I can cancel the membership since I was misinformed then I went to to the store and they said they give no refunds..the service is terrible they lie just to get you to spend money Never again worst store

Negative experience: Just happened 5 minutes ago. I went into gamestop looking for 2 switch games. Found them, waited 20 minutes on line until the cashier called us over. Then our cashier was helping out another cashier looking for the game that I already had in possession. I over heard them that they had 1 left. He saw ours on the counter and took it until I told him it's mine I took it off the switch game wall. He told me that his customer has been looking for it but it's a complete lie since that game was out in the open where all the switch games are. They started too look for the game again then the other short cashier took my game and told us that my cashier is looking for the game. This idiot just lied to me straight to my face after I heard him there tell our cashier that there's one left and the game I waited on line and another 15 minutes while they were looking for a game that didn't exist. Don't come to this gamestop. Our cashiers couldn't even come to me face and tell me that they sold our game away. This is why I won't come to gamestop anymore. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. This why businesses like Amazon and Bestbuy who also give you 20% off NEW games are beating this overpriced place.

Negative experience: So I came in just to browse and see what i could possibly pick up. The store manager FRANK harassed me the entire time i was there about the membership even though i politely declined. I already got some weird creeper vibes from him. It felt like he was watching me the entire time i was there. He reminded me of a fly rubbing its legs together waiting for something. Also i noticed the way he spoke to his employees and it was seriously unprofessional. Things could have been said in a better manner. I wont be shopping there ever again.

Positive experience: This Gamestop typically doesn't have that much besides the typical things one would go to a Gamestop for, used and pre-owned games or other small miscellaneous items. The staff aren't the most attentive and usually always look for busy work as someone walks in and don't say anything until you approach them directly. If you know what you're looking for I'm sure it'll suit your needs, otherwise, it's a average/below average Gamestop locale.

Negative experience: GameStop as a company is extremely bad. They always put that a certain product is in stock on their website but when you get there, its not in stock, and it never was. I also bought a controller online to pick-up at a store and once I got the email that it was ready, the lady at the store said they never had it in stock and that they would give me "store credit". What type of company is this? That's the reason why they're going out of business. Apart from the trade-ins that they give you little to no money, and then sell it for almost MSRP. Never buying from them again and you shouldn't either.

Negative experience: Went in asking about a game and the guy working there was so rude, didn’t even look me in the eyes just kept doing what he was doing. Answered with “it’s out of stock”, no intention to help me in any other way or offer an explanation or validation. Someone should really talk to the workers there and see what’s going on with their attitude.
