Fantastic experience: I had an ok experience here. I put in my card for psa and the employee gave me the card sleeve to put it in (it was stuck btw which worsened my grading). I guess I put it in a bit too shallow and he pushed it deeper into the sleeve pretty roughly which really pissed me off. Receiving it back was very nice though. Very nice women working here. They also put vaporeon and charizard in the chairs and they looked like they were playing cards together. Very cute for them to do that. But I really like this GameStop (except that one man). Just make sure you’re on your cards 100% of the time.

Negative experience: Don't waste your time, money or gas with this location. Ordered something online that was in stock just for me to have to call 5 times and almost 3 hours later finally someone picks up the phone to tell me they canceled the order because now it's out of stock which doesnt show that it was canceled in the app. What a joke, I wont be renewing my pro membership anytime soon. Best to stick with Target & BestBuy
Fantastic experience: I came in feeling a little overwhelmed and under-informed, but Ms. Naomi completely turned my gloomy day into sunshine! The store was neat, clean, and very well organized, with clearly labeled discounted items that made shopping easy. What truly stood out, though, was Naomi’s superior customer service, patience, and genuine kindness. She took the time to help me understand everything without making me feel rushed or pressured. I honestly wasn’t planning on becoming a Pro member, but thanks to her help and professionalism, I walked out with a Pro membership and even placed some preorders. Because of Naomi’s outstanding service, I’ll definitely be bringing my friends and family back to this location. She made the entire experience memorable
Negative experience: Im verry unhappy with the service l was provided at gamestop with the employee named Kyle he charged me a an extra twenty five dollars for a game stop pro that I never asked for.

Negative experience: I had an extremely frustrating experience at GameStop. I called ahead about trading in a game and explained my situation in full detail. The employee on the phone assured me there would be no problem at all. After driving over 20 minutes to the store and waiting in line, I spoke to the same salesperson I had talked to on the phone. At that point, he suddenly told me he could no longer help me purchase the game. What made it worse is that they literally had the game in hand and still refused to sell it to me. This was after I had already clearly explained everything on the phone beforehand. The whole trip was a complete waste of time. I ended up going to Best Buy and was able to purchase the same game for much cheaper, with no issues at all. I’ve spent a lot of money at GameStop in the past, but after this experience, they won’t be getting my business again. I can’t believe customer service like this is acceptable. Below i added some pics of what the sales guy looks like for future reference.
Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with the employee named Ash. I came in to do a trade in. After waiting in line behind 2 people i was told to stand to the side because the trade in “takes longer” after waiting for another 2 customers to be helped i finally decided to ask when she would help me because the line was getting longer. She was extremely rude and told me to go to another store although i had been waiting before the customer she was helping. Not only that she told me this was the stores policy. This was a major inconvenience to me. A complaint was filed. It sounds she needs to work on time management. If i could give 0 stars i would. The Pembroke lakes square is a much better location and the employees are much more friendly.

Negative experience: ⭐ 1 star (would give 0 if I could) Went in to purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 and the store manager refused to sell it to us unless we also bought additional games we didn’t want. This is not store policy and is an unfair sales tactic. He was rude and unprofessional, and since he’s the manager, there’s no higher authority in-store to escalate to. Save yourself the frustration and go to any other GameStop, this location is not worth your time or money.
Negative experience: Cashier tried to force upgrade my GameStop account ($25 dollars) to buy $60 dollars worth of pokemon cards

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointed with the Service I had a very unpleasant experience at this GameStop location due to the behavior of the manager, Luis. I was trying to purchase a new game, but he attempted to sell me an opened copy while insisting it was “new.” When I declined, he sarcastically offered to “make it look new” by putting it in a clear plastic bag and sealing it with tape—completely unprofessional and unacceptable. When I asked for his full name to report the incident, he sarcastically replied, “Luis the manager,” as if mocking the situation. His entire attitude was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. As a paying customer, I expect honesty, courtesy, and integrity—none of which were demonstrated here. This experience has made me reconsider shopping at GameStop entirely, and I certainly won’t be returning to this location. I hope upper management seriously looks into this.

Negative experience: I called this location on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at approximately 2:20 PM to inquire about a product, and I was extremely disappointed by the customer service I received. The gentleman who answered the phone did so in a noticeably rude and dismissive tone. When I asked a question, he responded sarcastically and, rather than offering assistance, asked in an impatient manner if I planned to ask two questions. This kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially for a customer simply seeking information. A little professionalism and courtesy go a long way, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking during this interaction. I hope management addresses this, as it reflects poorly on the store and brand.

Negative experience: This store has been the closest to me for over 15 years and I have reluctantly going here because of that but my last visit here, will be my last. The manager has some of the worse customer service skills I have ever seen. They refuse to help overall and if they try, they make you feel like a burden. If you need a gamestop, do yourself a favor and go to the one across from the Pembroke Lakes mall.

Fantastic experience: Haven't been to GameStop within the Publix Commons Plaza since 2018. It has really changed so much. The last purchase that was made from there was Neon Red/Neon Blue Joy-Con Nintendo Switch Console for $499.99 using my debit card. I'm so glad to have done that purchase.

Negative experience: Honestly the worst GameStop I’ve dealt with. It’s a miracle if they answer the phone when you call and they choose to close and shut down everything at 8:50pm although they’re open until 9pm so they can leave early and not be held up late. If the store says it’s open until 9pm then service should be allowed before that time period. Just a very poor customer experience and very lazy unproductive employees and management.

Negative experience: Just learned that Sharice is no longer working at this location. This is a huge let down, as she was the only reason I shopped at this location. I had a few interactions with the Store Manager and every time I dealt with him, I felt as if I was being a burden. Aside from me feeling like I was bothering him, it was a very transactional experience. This location is closest to me, but if I continue to shop at GameStop, I will be choosing a new location or just purchasing from Target instead. What a huge let down.

Negative experience: Placed a online order for hollywood their website put it to this store. I called and called and called so many times nobody picks up. And customer support over the phone is horrible and the wait time is atrocious . Do yourself a favor and never ever ever I mean ever spend your money here. Why pay them to give you a hard time? Why are you going to pay to be inconvenienced? If you're gona pay a company the least they can do is help and try to make the experience less of a hassle. Instead this company makes it extremely difficult aggravating and just not worth the time wasted. I spend 3 hours trying to fix the issue myself online. Calling paypal. Trying to refund the online order that was sent to the wrong store. That's 60 dollars of time I could have just went to work and made the money. Ordered on amazon and call it a hassle free day. Yeah I hope gamestop goes out of business they clearly dont want my money.

Negative experience: I share a account with my best friend so naturally the account and preorders are in his name. When I came to pick up the game I preordered I couldn’t pick it because I needed my receipt. That’s fine I understand that but I have all the account info from the phone number to the email and password. When I ask to please call if they want to verify that my friend knows me all I got was “no can’t do that.” And “There’s nothing I can do he needs to be here.” Terrible customer service. Cashier didn’t even try to help out in any way or try to at least call to check.
