Fantastic experience: For some reason the archetype of brick and mortar video game/card stores is a messy environment with inconsistent costumer service. Thankfully, this is not at all the case with Video Game Exchange & Comics. While there is ALOT of stuff to look though, it is all organized in a clean and orderly fashion. As soon as I walked in I was met with a smiling face asking me how they could help. I appreciate their attention to detail and love for the art of retro games. All of my of “good” experiences at GameStop don’t even hold a candle to this one experience here. I’m happy to call this my favorite game store. I will be recommending this place to everyone looking for retro games and other physical media.

He is always so helpful and know how to always help me out when I want to buy something. The prices are great and they have everything ranging from posters to consoles. Fantastic experience: Video Game Exchange & Comics in Colorado Springs is such a hidden gem. We stopped in and ended up buying a Pokémon Evolution pack after spotting it—couldn’t resist! This place is packed with nostalgic treasures, and it’s honestly so fun just walking around and seeing everything they have. The two working on our visit (we’re pretty sure they’re the owners) were incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even better. You can tell they really care about what they do. If you’re into video games, comics, or collectibles—especially Pokémon—this spot is absolutely worth checking out. We’ll definitely be back… and their dog… so cute.

Fantastic experience: Im from out of town so when I heard about this gaming store I had to go and check it out. There was more then video games. They have movies, music, comics, cards, books some kpop a little of everything. Great service.

Positive experience: A very dense little store with all kinds of stuff - games, DVDs, CDs, comics, etc. I do wish they were a little less broad and dropped the movies so they could expand the game selection a bit and possibly improve organization. I had a bit of trouble finding things I was looking for. It has a bit of an 'entertainment flea market' things going on, which is good and bad. The staff was super friendly, great people, but a little bit much - I think I was asked 5 times within 30 minutes if I needed any help. And I did, and I got it, but man, that was a lot.

Fantastic experience: I have been a number of times over the years and they have a huge selection of games from old school up to modern releases. I traded in some of my older games and picked up Luigi's Mansion 3 while I was there. They also sell trading cards, DVDs, collectibles, comics, and a few other things besides games which is quite impressive. I highly recommend stopping by if you have even the slightest interest in gaming.

Fantastic experience: Being one of 3 options in Colorado Springs, I’m glad to see these guys shine. It’s a low bar competing with Entertainmart which never has a super great selection and Midnight games who puts disc destroying stickers on all of their games, so being just an honest little game store would already be enough to earn a 5 star, but these guys go above and beyond Great and honest staff, great selection (they consistently have rarer titles), and great prices! Every game I’ve bought from here has been in great shape at great prices. I’m not much of a card or comic book person, but from the conversations I’ve overheard they also go above and beyond with that! My only nit picks are: I wish they had gaming merchandise (plushies, figures, etc) in their stock, but with the size of the location I can see why they don’t. Original Xbox games usually have their case swapped with an Xbox 360 case. Very minor thing and they’ve always swapped the case upon request. (Edit: this is because they prioritize pristine looking cases! Can’t really blame them there!) Overall a great little store.

He did not need to do that. He was above and beyond helpful. Would recommend this store for sure. They really care about their shoppers.

Fantastic experience: Came in looking for rockband stuff. They had the games but not the guitars so they suggested another spot. Still bought a few games from them cause their prices are great. They treat customers very well and they're knowledgeable about their products. I would sacrifice my first born to them if I hadn't made the same promise to the deity in my attic.

Fantastic experience: I went in 15 minutes before they closed, and the folks inside were so nice. I had a few questions about if I needed to worry about cartridge batteries, and one of the owners assured the batteries were good and explained the replacement process. Really great prices and cool Gameboy selection! So far has been my favorite place in town to shop.

Fantastic experience: This is an awesome store! The owner, Patrick, is extremely respectful, and he happily shares his expertise and participates in the discussions brought to him. His collection is extremely impressive, with Funko Pops, games for all consoles, comics, K-Pop material, and more, all at an extremely good price. I was able to buy albums for both my friends at very low prices, and I bought a figure that I have been looking for at a low price as well. Personally, I feel very welcome in the store, despite being fairly new and loose with collecting. I plan on returning, and advise everyone with an interest in video games of any age or other content previously mentioned stop by; even if on vacation, this is an awesome spot that I would not go past.

Fantastic experience: Great prices, knowledgeable staff, kind owner. At first I came in here and expected to be belittled or gatekept as a collector for my age but surprisingly was not. They prices and deals are top notch and they can even custom order certain brands for below retail price. The game selection for retro consoles is amazing, and they do not mess around with collectibles. Always a treat to visit this shop, and is doing amazing at countering the people who make the retro collecting scene hard to be in.

Fantastic experience: Best shop of its kind in Colorado. Patrick and Connie are both incredibly kind and helpful and Kianna (the puppy) is one of the best dogs I've ever met. Every time she's there I end up giving her more scratches than looking around. I know this store is an important part of the city for many including me. The selection and variety is solid and they are always getting new items. Highly recommend stopping by.

A+++++ Update: they stopped selling vintage Atari 2600 games. This was dissapointing going into their store and not only saying they discontinued selling the games, but told me they have them on eBay. If you like Nintendo and beyond I guess it's okay. Vintage games are no longer an interest especially when they still had space where it once was to sell it.

Fantastic experience: The people that run and own this shop are very knowledgeable. They have no bone in their body to rip you off , they rather show you and value they have classic collectiblels. Also, have old school games that you couldn't find on any other shelf. they will tell you the best games that came in their hand as their receiving load. That's beautiful. I appreciate that. We've collected very valuable games in our hearts. In our souls, due to this shopping open forever, grateful thing place is very reasonble and have classics

The female staff worker is friendly and has the cutest dog in the whole world, the store owner is also very friendly and helpful. They also sell other things besides video games and comics, they sell movies, some toys and collectable stuff as well. If you are thinking about what video game stores to check out in town, don't even think twice... just come here! They a seriously are the best in town.

Negative experience: Asked about the legality of selling these 100 game Rom cartages. They block me on Facebook and delete my comment. I called them to let them know that that's not a decent way to do business. They then unblock me, dude calls me back and plays victim. Never answered the question. Always overpriced anyway. Will no longer get any of my business. Might as well re-block me.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with this store! I had some vintage video game equipment and brought it in. They were not able to take all of it, but I felt like I got a fair value for what they did want. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the whole process took about 15 minutes. While waiting for them to assess the quality of my stuff, I perused the shelves and was amazed by the vast assortment of games and collectibles they carry. I will definitely be checking this place out again if I ever want to get back into gaming and/or collecting!

Owner always has something to show you from their ever growing collection of games and consoles. Fantastic experience: Decided to take a look around today, as I have never been here before. They actually had something I was looked for, online, not 30 minutes earlier. Was not expecting a used amiibo section. I was just missing a color variation of the R.O.B. Smash amiibo. They had both and 2 of the one I needed. This was a very pleasant surprise. It was also priced well as I would have paid just as much online with shipping and everything. Thanks to this trip, my collection will be 100% complete after Sora is released next month. The guy was also super friendly. Highly suggest dropping by if you have not yet.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! The guys that work there are awesome. I brought in a N64 and 3 controllers as well as some games. They were very reasonable and gave me a very honest and fair amount for everything. I got $35 for the 3 games and $30 for the N64. They were going to give me more for the N64 but I bought a game. I highly recommend going here for all your game needs. If you are into card games they have a great selection of Magic and Pokemon cards. I'm sure you'll find your visit just as amazing as I did.

I keep coming back to this store mostly because he likes you to understand his logic behind what they sell and how they are priced. I tend to look over my game cartridges authenticity myself and so far have not found any fake or bootlegged games.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to quite a few stores like this and I must say this one is far and away the best. Staff couldn’t be more knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate. It’s a smaller shop square footage wise in comparison to others, but what it lacks in stature it makes up for in heart. This is the Samwise Gamgee of video game, comic book, and trading card game stores.

My second visit today was just as pleasant! I had brought in a scratched game and he cleaned it up for me. This place is awesome!! 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: When I moved out here I was looking for an indy electronic store, and this is it. It's small, but jam packed with comics, anime, movies, TV shows, games (retro, new and rare), board games, card games, figurines, toys, etc. I highly recommend this place, a lot of the trade ins are in pristine condition, and they take their time cleaning the products.

Somehow the owner manage to fit a walmarts worth of video games, cards, and collectibles in the store. Not to mention helpful, if there is a question you have about any of the games or products, they are happy to help you here! I was so pleasantly surprised to find this place.

Fantastic experience: The guy behind the cash register was super friendly and made sure if we needed any help to ask. I would just like to mention you can find plenty of hidden gems here. I found several games I haven't seen since I was young and I bought them. Very surprised how many games they have and DVDs for really fair prices. They have awesome selections for all consoles. I ended up getting Rocky and nickelodeons attack of the Toybots. Both fair prices and really fun games. If y'all want a suggestion for a game place to go I definitely would put this store on top of the list. Show em some love mane.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing shop, i just went to Pokémon day at this shop and it was sooooo COOL! He has a great selection of bulk for you to search through, pleanty of reverse halos and rare cards to mull through also. I stop in here every so often just to browse his cards. ** he also swapped out the battery on my Pokémon Gold and Silver (authentic only) so they would save again!!! - This guy is amazing! Kid friendly and the type of place you’d like to come back to, especially great customer service, which is not always common in a card shop / game store

Fantastic experience: This is an awesome store for retro games. I found more good quality games and less fluff than usual and the prices were also good, I didn't see any noticeable overcharging. Not to mention my kids loved the DVDs, comics, kids books, Pokemon cards and surprise goodie grab bags! The staff (or maybe it was the owner) was super helpful and knowledgeable. I'd bet that comics/cards/games is his passion. If I weren't in town only for vacation I'd be in there every other week buying something.

The games are a lot more expensive than what the casual gamer will want to play. However, this is a cool place to check out either way it's truly like a gamers museum
