Negative experience: Good thing they are closing. The employee at the front was incredibly rude and couldn’t care any less. Hopefully he doesn’t get transferred to another store.

Negative experience: Exchange happened on 2/21/2025 PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO YOUR RECEIPTS AS STAFF ARE WORKING AN UPSELL SCAM. The staff there currently work in tandem and are selling the Pro Pass but telling you it’s free (I’ll start by saying, I had intend to already renew). When the pro pass came up, the guy said ,”oh you don’t need to worry, it’s free”. This is not the truth. It still was on my receipt for $20 something. I noticed when I got home. I ended up returning my console same day (different reason) and the guy says,” don’t refund the pro pass” and the other guy goes,” oh he’s one of the ones that got it for free”. Again, it was charged on my receipt. They are working in tandem to upsell and lie to customers. Check your receipts.

Negative experience: Absolute horrible experience, went in to inquire about the new pokemon packs and the manager whom i discover is named "rali" thanks to another gamestop in town was extremely rude and demeaning saying "if you checked the sign on the door maybe you'd see we are out of them" and then proceeded to chuckle towards me and said in a baby voice "maybe if you check back in a week we will have some". Absolute jerk and worst representation of a manager ive ever met, will not be returning to this location for any future business and recomend the same for anyone else

Negative experience: Husband came in to ask about the new Mario Party Jamboree game. They had asked if we had pre-ordered it, which we didn’t. First employee said they didn’t have any in stock so husband and asked if they knew when there would be more in stock so we can check in the future. The manager stepped into the conversation to share in a demeaning tone that he is very particular about his pre-orders and how we need to do a better job at making sure we pre-order jobs we want. Didn’t really seem like a big deal the game isn’t in stock, we could buy it through download, my husband just prefers the physical games. Seems pretty unnecessary to lecture us for not pre-ordering the game. Hopefully other locations are much nicer when asked simple questions!

Fantastic experience: I wanted to leave this review for my mother, who was nervous to go into a GameStop to ask for help figuring out her new Switch in her 60's! My mother called me a few days ago telling me about a great experience with a sales associate that was "such a cute girl, so sweet and edgy!" I don't think my mom has been in a GameStop since she'd taken my brother when he was in high school 15 years ago. For her retirement, she was gifted a Switch to play the Hogwarts Legacy game that she's been admiring through my cousin. My mother is NOT the gaming type (I don't count Candy Crush), she's never touched a gaming console in her life, until she found herself with downtime and a desire to play Hogwarts. She's been OBSESSED with the game for months. So much so, that she decided to get my dad a Switch to celebrate his retirement this summer. She was having problems figuring something out so that they could both play at the same time (My brother and I couldn't figure out what her problem actually was and neither of us live in the Colorado anymore, hence why she wandered into a GameStop). She went into the store nervous because she thought she'd feel out of place and she wouldn't be able to communicate what she was trying to solve, but as soon as she walked out of the store she called me so excited about the experience she just had! She was able to get her problem figured out, and she also mentioned to the sales associate that my dad enjoyed playing Zelda on the N64 years and years ago, and the sales associate was able to walk her through the chronological order of Zelda games, and which one he should start with! So, she walked away with a working Switch, and a new Zelda game for dad. In my mothers words: "She was just so sweet and helpful that I couldn't NOT get the Sky Hammer game!" I'm going to assume she was talking about Skyward Sword... baby steps :) Thank you SO much for helping my mom out! I have a feeling you'll have a new regular in the shop. If she comes in again, tell her that her son's would probably love the 'Breath of the Wild' game ;)

The man here (sorry I didn’t get his name) was incredible and helping us select the perfect console and games. They truly went above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love this Game Stop. We've been shopping from here for many years now. We have always met the nicest and most helpful employees at this location. This shop has a good selection of toys and games. The awesome service is a huge reason why we are VIP members. Fantastic experience: I don't leave reviews, but I had to. I hate GameStop, I think they're a terrible company, especially when it comes to preorders and getting the games you PAY FOR. However, Lily and Margaret that work at THIS GAMESTOP are the only reason I still do business with them. They are the funnest, most amazing women and I love them. That's all.

Negative experience: If I could vote ZERO stars I absolutely would. I pre-ordered Hogwarts legacy for my PS4 and when I upgraded the game to match my new system for release. I was educated and made to believe by SHELBY that this pre-order was in fact the DELUXE version. HOWEVER she was too distracted by her coworkers to actually see she downgraded my order. I go to pick up my game; On the day I've anticipated since they rumored the game... and to find out I was charged for the Deluxe, but not given the DELUXE edition. No, I received only the basic edition. Mind you I am LIVID. I tried to get Shelby's copy (since she messed up.. eye for an eye...)but was told by Lily that she had given her game to someone else Shelby screwed with! I was just told to call corporate.. Called them but good luck getting them on the phone.. There is no way to get a hold of them! The fact that I paid for everything and I won't even get the things I looked forward to... its incredibly unacceptable.

Negative experience: Not crystal clear on the return policy. Can return within 30 days of purchases on accessories but can ONLY GET IN-STORE CREDIT ON THESE RETURNS. Just shop online like Amazon, you can at least get your money back.

Negative experience: Upon entering in the store, an associate by the name of Cheyenne yelled for us to exit since they were at capacity. We walked out only to see 5 people enter and no one come out and tell us we were ok to enter. We finally made our way in only to hear the same associate, Cheyenne yelling about a customer as he was in ears length. Saying she thought he had stolen merchandise. The other customers came to his defense saying that he had not. The lack of awareness and customer service here at this location is beyond appalling and I can not fathom the treatment they have towards their paying customers. We will not be returning to this location. We will drive an additional 10 minutes to get the great customer experience that the academy location has always given us.

Positive experience: It’s sadly a degrading chain. I use to shop at GameStop all the time till online purchases became a thing. I remember waiting outside at midnight to get the latest release of a game. The best part is that you can buy the used copies at a discounted price rather paying full price online. Other than that it’s nothing special. The staff seem to be bored and show no emotion. The prices aren’t competitive and their trade in value is SO terrible. I’d stick to online purchases.

Negative experience: There is a limit on how many people can be in the store so I sent my son in alone because we had come to this location specifically for a collector toy he was looking for. He went to the shelf and picked the items that he was going to buy and only those items and inappropriately dressed the woman at the counter was yelling at him not to touch things and then took them from him and threw them in a bin and wouldnt let him pay for them. Just rude customer service....kids are people also and he had money plus I was right outside the window.

Negative experience: I sold $88 worth of games to the location at Woodmen and Powers in October of 2018 and held onto the gift card, with my credit, until Christmas time of the same year. When I went to use the card, the $88 credit was gone. I inquired about the date of the usage, knowing well the card hadn’t been used, and was informed the credit was used a week later. I’ll let your imagination run with that information... I pursued my issue with corporate only to be told I was screwed. I finally received my credit after 3-4 weeks of badgering them and threatening legal assistance. Haven’t been back since and do not plan to again.

Negative experience: Absolute worst, called 10 minutes before closing while I was at Walmart next door. I asked if they had a cable because Walmart was out, they responded yes and would hold it for me as I drove 2 minutes to pick it up. Walked up to the door at 8:58 and they said what do you want while holding the door. I said I just called about the cable. They said oh yea we have it but the register is closed, come back tomorrow. I said seriously they said yep. I realize the young girl doesn’t own the store or much of anything in her life however not a great way to do business. I hope the owner fires her.

Fantastic experience: The lady at the counter Haley, was super helpful and very very sweet and nice, I ordered online but wasn’t able to pay online, I had a bunch of $5 gift cards that I was wanting to use, and she gladly entered the codes of them all, all while being super nice and chatting with me while she entered the codes. He paid balance of $10 and then was told he would need to get bk in the line all over again. Unacceptable! Fantastic experience: This location provided the absolute best customer service I've ever received at a Gamestop. Anthony assisted me with my purchase and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. I had just spent the day searching for a Funko Pop figure that my husband wanted and this location put the figure on hold for me. I drove 30 minutes in the heat to get there, walked in grumpy and Anthony's outstanding customer service managed to make me forget about how miserable I was. Even while he did his job to upsell everything possible, I wasn't bothered or annoyed. He did it in a way that was catered to me. Usually the gamestop employees just shove those pre-orders down your throat. This young man needs a raise and promotion!
