Negative experience: SCAMMERS!! Specifically the manager Rayne. Sold some games and got a SUBSCRIPTION I CANT RETURN AND DIDNT WANT as payment. They will tell you the “subscription is a discounted price for the day” and “you WILL get more money for your items if you buy it”. They are crooks here and GameStop deserves all the trouble they have. Criminals
Negative experience: Kendra was rude, they get upset when I didn’t get the warranty. Had the audacity to look at my trade balance and say that I had enough for the warranty in a rude way. The warranty is optional, and I take care of my consoles so NO I won’t be spending $50 on a useless warranty. What I have left on my trade card should not matter.
Negative experience: When you preorder pokemon they won't call/email you when it arrives. The original date it was supposed to arrive got pushed. I just kept having to call and they made it seem like I was dumb for asking when it would be in? They treat you like garbage when you even ask about anything. The girl in there is unprofessional. My first time preordering and they treated me like an inconvenience. I will never go back to this gamestop.

Negative experience: Wouldn't even give a star to gamestop. Bought a switch oled for my birthday, didn't like it. Brought it back. They told me i couldn't return it because i only had 7 days to return it. I bought the pro membership so i would have 30 days. Was only 5 days over 7 days. I could trade it in for 60 dollars in store credit. I paid 300 for it plus the 25 dollar membership. They are all crooks. Then got the stick drift trade deal brought my ps5 controller in was told i would only get 20 bucks towards a new one. Total false advertisement the ad says something different. Wont be shopping at any GameStop ever again.
Negative experience: Return policy broken! I went to return a new mario kart 8 for the switch, I chose to return it because I never opened it and a used Pokémon game for switch as well. All bought within 30 days of return. When I went to return the games Emma did not allow me to return a unopened game stating " we only return new games if they are defected. If not, you will need to trade it in." And forced a trade. The Pokémon game was returned with no issues besides her poor aditude. Once I found out I was getting $24 for a brand new game that I wanted to return i told her I wanted to cancel and I was denied of that and was handed over a $24 gift card. I read the recipe and it states "unopened, new software and hardware are returnable within 15 days of purchase. Pro members may return unopened, new software and hardware within 30 days of purchase." Which makes me very disappointed in my local game stop how can an employee get away with breaking the return policy. But there is a brand new Mario kart 8 for switch that is now "used" so some one grab it Very sad ive been a pro member since 2013 and today was the 1st time game stop has disappointed Don't waste your time at that location if Emma is helping she won't follow policy and find ways to pocket money.
Negative experience: I swear this specific gamestop makes their own hours ,it's not a holiday or nothing.store was supposed to open at 11.there are five other people besides myself waiting and it's been 30 minutes and the door is still shut..this is not the first time either..not just me but a few other people are aggravated that we have to wait 30 minutes after opening and no one is still here to open up shop..
Negative experience: Waited 10 minutes with no employee to assist in getting one Funko, just left and didn’t come back. Jess was the only one working and nobody to help. Crazy!
Fantastic experience: One of my favorite GameStops to go to with my bestie! They usually have stuff that we are looking for that doesn't seem to be at other GameStops. Everyone we have encountered there has been super lovely and informative if we have any questions.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. When we walked in and asked about Switch 2s the lady behind the desk said "ok I'm un-boxing stuff rn". We thought we were getting help when another gentleman walked out from the back and said and started helping us. We asked about traiding in a Switch 1 and answered all our question but then when we ask if we could do that he just walked away and said "ok, that's super". Sat around for 15 minutes while both of them ignored us. Then the lady behind the register pulled out a switch 2 non bundle. We thought she was going to help us but she just put the box under the counter and walked away. The said they only had the Mario kart bundle and there was no one in the store. They didn't want to do their jobs and they didn't care about making a sale. We walked out of the store and nobody even noticed.
Fantastic experience: Most times I don't like going into Gamestop's, but Adam is probably the most genuine worker I have ever seen at one. Engaged in some great conversations and ensured my time there was superb!

Fantastic experience: I went to this game stop and I purchased a Jada toys ruyu figure and a zoro figure and boy have I have fun posing these guys. They are very possible to do what ever you want them to do the customer service was amazing. They were so nice. They are awesome and I really recommend this game stop. Best game stop ever!

Negative experience: This gamestop in particular makes me want to never support any GameStop. Employees (not all) here have exceptionally terrible customer service. On top of it they have lied to my face, rude, and lazy. I get better service at Walmart and that’s a really low bar.

Negative experience: Rude, lazy, lying employee. Went in 15 minutes before closing to buy 1 thing and the employee working lied about having a game in stock. I would have been out before they even closed.
Negative experience: Went in today tried to buy two controllers clearly marked $9.99 price tag on product. Ringing up at $12.24 brought to their attention. Manager came over told me sorry the price $12.24 We forgot to take off the sales stickers from December. I literally have been coming to this GameStop since it opened over 20 years ago. I have spent a lot of money at the GameStop no more, not surprised it’s going out of business lost a customer over four dollars. Whoever that manager is needs some retraining. I bought my PlayStation 34 and five there plus my Nintendo switch and two switch lights. If you got a problem with what I say, look up my name in your system and have the manager call me. The store manager’s name is Nate and he is the one who helped me. Do not go to the store. What a joke.
Negative experience: I have gone to this location just after 6 O'clock 2 times in the past week, and both times they were closed. Very frustrating when it says they're open until 8 online and on the store front.

Negative experience: Was sold an Xbox series X with a Xbox One controller and off brand HDMI cable and defective disc drive. Went to exchange it and the exchange price was $40 less than the return price. The associate, Rachel, didn't see an issue with putting not the full amount I paid toward the exchange console I was getting and seemed exasperated I would even want the full amount instead of a different amount she made up. Maybe she just didn't explain what was going on with the tax well enough. Either way, I won't be coming back here.

Fantastic experience: Great selection of modern and vintage games. This store even had a few GameCube, Wii, and WiiU games for sale in the pre-owned section, including some that are extremely rare and hard to come by. Staff was courteous and helpful, even though a theft occurred while I was there in the store.

Fantastic experience: I live right across the street and it's so nice having one so close. The employees are very nice and helpful. They even let me know about military discounts which I never knew before. If you live near by I definitely suggest stopping in :)

Negative experience: After reading other reviews on encounters with “Nate” or Nathanial or whatever he goes by I figured I would chime in as well. This guys treats customers terrible and thinks he is some sort of an authority figure because he’s a manager at GameStop. He told a clearly non binary person, “have a good day, SIR!” And the young adult left the store in tears. He also does returns and ADVERTISED sale prices at his discretion, when asked, he replied “if you don’t like it you can leave.” Something needs to be done about this employee, he’s a terrible person and treats customers awful. Ive made a formal complaint to corporate which has been escalated to an upper level corporate supervisor, should take 3-5 days to hear back but I have an email from corporate documenting the encounter as well as the ticket number for the compliant so hopefully they do something!
Negative experience: Bought a 120$ headset only to find out the mic didn’t work when I unboxed it. Brought it in 3 days later with the receipt, warranty, and all the components. Said I can’t get any money back or even trade it back in for an identical product cause they didn’t have any in stock. Essentially bought faulty hardware and when I let them know it was broken they said it’s not their problem. So you’re taking a gamble buying any console or accessory from this place, if it’s broken when you unbox it’s your problem even if you pay for a warranty. Try a place with sensible costumer service and return policies rather than this glorified scam operation.
Negative experience: Writing under an alias to protect my identity. I discussed multiple times with the manager that I needed To sell a console for cash And multiple times he quoted me a price of $200. Ended up leaving the store with $140 because I need to pay bills. This establishment is absolutely terrible and the people working here are a joke they Have no idea how to do business or communicate.
Negative experience: Employees tend to buy the new games off the shipments before they even hit the shelves for customers so whats the point of even going to a gamestop anymore.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a lot of GameStop’s, and this is honestly the best one! They have a great selection of anime figures and their Funko selection always has the newest Naruto pops! Got a sweet Nagato and Naruto figure today that I haven’t seen sold in any other store.

Fantastic experience: A regular Gamestop with friendly staff. Get your games, collectibles, and accessories here. If you are looking for a certain product, the staff usually know what they are talking about. You can do pre-orders here also. I also saw One Piece cards here once.
Negative experience: Nathaniel was Soo rude to me. Commented on my weight, was mean to a transgender in line behind me and overcharged me for my product. He argued with me stating that I can't read. It is a good thing I am an attorney. I want to speak to the CEO. This person needs to be managed and trained to be a gentleman even if he doesn't feel like it. Shame on him. I will only return to seek justice. Refund me immediately.
Fantastic experience: I’ve never actually had a good experience in a GameStop before! Other store screwed up my Xbox X order; Nathan not only got me squared away, but brought his team over to show them what mistakes were made and how to avoid them. He’s a good dude, and you should pay him more money.

Fantastic experience: I have been a pretty consistent customer for a while and I always feel really taken care of! I had the pleasure of working with Nathan (sorry if I butchered that) tonight. It was an hour to close and this dude was all about giving me the best experience! He did the ole sales pitch of ‘buy the warranty and such and such’ but he did it so very naturally. Felt like a sales pitch but like didn’t if that made sense. Was honest and he gave a real opinion about what he could, and let me know if he couldn’t. Super cool dude and he basically made me a customer for at least the next year. Thanks Nathan you are a g. Go here if you can? If not your loss is a truly authentic team of passionate gamers/and such.
Negative experience: Just had a very unpleasant experience. Was told 2 different things by 2 different people and was charged an extra $40!
Fantastic experience: First time at this location. I picked up the [highly sought after] Pyra & Mythra Amiibo today, a day late [oops] (7/22/23 ~4:30 PM). The man helping me with my order was friendly and also had a great sense of humor. Visit was brief but enjoyable, at least more so than some other locations I’ve been to. Thanks! Although the item is highly sought after and was insanely limited in stock, I managed to snag one and the order went through very quick with no problems.
Fantastic experience: The guy was very friendly, he went and checked to see if he had any figurines in the back room because I couldn’t locate the ones that I needed on the floor. Unfortunately they didn’t have them, but he showed me where there would be some socks with the characters on them.

Negative experience: So the GameStop in Broodway town center in Colorado springs just told me even though they sold me a game that didn't work would cost me more to replace because they would have to ship me a new one. Negative experience: They don't accept online returns. The online return packing slip told me to take the slip and the item to the store to return it. The store says they don't accept returns on items sold online.

We were never told that the warranty has to be in the email(which I never received). Why can’t you accept the paper receipt which has all the information in it for the warranty.

Negative experience: This particular GameStop and their current employees have lousy customer service skills, they all need to be properly trained in customer service. Avoid this location, full of low wage haters! But with unemployment running rampant, I guess they hire whatever they can get! I highly doubt they'll get any good help, what can you expect when they pay their employees $12 an hour!

Positive experience: I find this gamestop to have excellent service in comparison to others. Erin helps me just about everytime I go in and gamestop couldn't ask for a better representative. Not a fan of the pretentious gamer attitude at the citadel mall location after going here so many times. My only beef with the store is that it could use more merchandise. Game stock is fine, but it seems like less in collectibles than other locations.
