Negative experience: Overpriced, small

Negative experience: TERRIBLE!!! On a Pokémon pack release day I waited for over 2 hours PAST the store's scheduled opening time and nothing. No workers announced they wouldn't be opening. No sign was put up.

Fantastic experience: Great employees at this gamestop, and I really don't want to call out the many stores that have really really horrible employees, so I'll just show my appreciation for the ones that are awesome like this particular one!gamestops

Negative experience: Super small and under stocked. I purchased a year warranty for my kids' headset, and he opened his gift to try it, and he was disappointed with the broken "new" product. I returned it to this store for an exchange, and they said that this is officially a new product, and my year warranty is immediately voided after this transaction... what a scam.

Fantastic experience: All gaming and collectible enthusiasts welcomed with good attitudes, friendly customer service and tons of info!

Negative experience: I brought a "sealed" game to the counter. Turns out it's the last copy and they'll sell me the opened box with the game for the same price as a brand new game. Wow. What a deal!

Fantastic experience: My home GameStop store for 5 years. I'm not sure if Macie is still with this store, but she was the nicest and kindest worker here. She helped a friend and I get some PS5 bundles back in 2022. I pop my head in once and awhile to look at any pre-owned games or (now hard to find) Pokémon cards. Small, but slowly growing, used Nintendo DS game selection.

Negative experience: Says it opened at 12 and nobody is here! I was trying to squeeze in a little peak between my lunch break but that was a fail. It’s now 12:30 and no one is still here!! Update your website

Negative experience: Kept multiple items that they didn’t give me trade in credit for, about $100 worth. Basically, got robbed by the employees. I didn’t notice until I got home and saw it missing from my receipt. They didn’t even inform me, they just kept it “for free”. That’s crazy lol… I also signed up for GameStop pro, but was opted in to auto-renew without my consent. Apparently this policy differs for each store. This store in particular has sleazy policy, and sleazy employees. Won’t be going back to this one

Fantastic experience: its just fine complaining bout some "won't let me return it" but u didn't even read that it says 7 day return policy and that it says the return policy is only for certain games

Fantastic experience: Use to pop in here every week after school to buy and pre-order Dragon Ball figures. There was an employee there named Macie who was really cool and helped make sure the figures arrived on time and she would put any figures on hold as well. Don't know if she still works there but she was the figure plug.

Negative experience: Bought 3 games here yesterday, 2 used and 1 new. We wanted to try the new game and see if we liked it, therefore I asked about the return policy and was told there's a full refund before 7 days. So we came back today to return the new game since we didn't like it, and was told the return policy is only for used games!! We were scammed and were only able to sell it back for less than half the price, and that's woth the membership bonus. I will NEVER shop at gamestop again, we are in a digital age and nobody seems to care about physical copies anymore.

Negative experience: Been here a couple times for recent releases, and those experiences will keep me from returning to this location. Employees acted like I was interrupting their hangout when I walked in, and one of them audibly trashed talked the other for talking to me and hyping the game I was purchasing - as an ex manager for GameStop, I was appalled by the notion of an employee saying anything that would make a customer feel ashamed of their purchase. I made a pre-order that day, which was a mistake, because that meant coming back. The day I came by to pick up my pre-order, they were closed (gates closed and lights off) long before their posted closing time, and the next day the one employee they had was just hanging out with three people just loitering at the counter. It was uncomfortable. As someone who has witnessed the fall of Hollywood Video, Blockbuster, and Borders, this is the type of service that will drive your customers to better services and in this day and age, Amazon is a worthy replacement.

Negative experience: Wow u guys scamming people , I bought the crew motorfest , and I found out that I can just download it on my ps4 , and I try taking the game back and they was not let me get a trade or Cash And it says on there website they give cash or trade I am confused

Negative experience: Showed up to the location at 615 pm and the store was not open for business. The hours listed say nothing about closing the doors until 640pm. A waste of gas and time. If I could give 0 stars this would be the scenario. Last thing you want to do is wait for someone in 105 degree heat when you get off work because the business is not properly ran. This is unacceptable for a franchise retail store.

WE GET HOME AND THE GAME DOESN'T WORK ITS BLINKING OFF AND ON SO MY HUSBAND CALLS THE STORE AND SHANE ANSWERS AND HES BEING RUDE AND SAYS WE CANNOT EXCHANGE THE ITEM THAT HE HAS NO MORE TELLS US TO GO TO THE ONE IN ARDEN MALL SO WE CALL THE ARDEN MALL ONE AND WHO EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE DONT KNOW NOTHING AND GIVES THE PHONE TO HER MANAGER WHO IS ALSO RUDE SHE JUST AUTOMATICALLY SAYS NO SHES NOT DOING THE EXCHANGE AND WE BASICALLY ARE STUCK WITH IT!SO WE CALL THE GAMESTOP BACK AND TALK WITH SHANE AGAIN WHO SWEARS THEY DONT HAVE ANYMORE TO EXCHANGE FOR US. Negative experience: Gamestop has no ps3's, ps4's and no interest updating their inventory! Can't get a PlayStation in Sacramento from gamestop? Yea that's sad!

Positive experience: The staff are good knowledgeable people. But gamestop as a company isnt too great. They sell overpriced broken items. Bought a broken controller for 60 bucks, be sure to save your receipts.

Negative experience: Trade in prices suck, manager tried to talk to me out of my return after I made it clear I didn't want the game. They get upset if you ask for a used game that you could buy new, so that way you lose on the great return policy of used games. I'd rather buy digitally from now on if I have to pay full price.

Negative experience: Sadly this ends my official relationship with all Gamestops. Went in to purchase Ace combat on the release date, remind you this is Gamestop, a place ONLY for video games. Was told (on the release date) I wouldn't be able to get this game until 3 days after the release date because preorders took precedence over my request. They only took stock on pre-orders! What stops me, and all other customer from just digital download or Walmart? No wonder all Gamestops are going out of business, what terrible business practice, I was shocked!! I always came here to support my local shops, but never again!! No support here!!
