Fantastic experience: An overall great experience. Mike was very helpful and in a good mood. Always down to chat and gives pointers to games you might like or even points you in the direction of local shops that can help you out. The shop itself is clean, well put together and organized. They carry retro titles which is always worth a quick look at for a collector or the occasional nostalgia chase. They even had Ps5 pros on hand which I havent seen in other stores lately. Highly recommend shopping here.

Fantastic experience: Love this location. Moved into the area a few years ago and this is my go to for life. The employees are great, knowledgeable, and friendly enough to talk to about games and cards, sometimes we get lost in conversation. The only time I go to another location is when this one doesn't have what I need. Always a great experience here!

Before shipping, a female employee called me to make sure I was fine with generic cases since they did not have the originals with covers. This shows a high level of service where most would not even bothered calling. Much appreciated! I wish the locations near me were run with this level of professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Real nice location of all Sacramento area GameStops. Layout is more similar to the golden age GameStops, wide floor plan, it's been my personal favorite shop for my gaming needs for that reason alone. I really hope their corporate office adapts their floorplan to as many stores as they can. The cheat code to a great trip is a stop at the nearby 7-11, El Pollo Loco, or Smart & Final. The old store on Madison Avenue looked a lot like this one does today. But, all GameStops in Orangevale are long since closed down. Collectibles are abundant, so this location is perfect for all the fans :)

Negative experience: Nice store with good personal but said they will have lunch until 3:30pm and now it's 4:28 noone inside and the store is closed, I needed a presend for my friend and now I can't get it

Fantastic experience: Recently purchased a Nintendo Switch console and games from this location. I was assisted by Mike. He was WONDERFUL! He really took the time to go over ALL of my options and gave me the best price! He even took the time to tell me how the downloads worked, new vs used gaming options, and showed me how to get the best out of the system, and how to access free downloads. I got a BOGO deal on 3 games buy two get one free, $25 off for purchasing in store, and an additional discount for signing up. I purchased the Nintendo Switch new from Target the day before and RETURNED it because of the AMAZING deal that I got at this Game Stop location. I highly recommend purchasing from this store. Say hi to Mike, amazing service will be coming your way . I found a game I did not even know I needed off his recommendation!

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to the area and love gamestop so I was super happy when I found out I had a local one. Mike and Tanya were working when my wife and I came in looking to make a trade. We were about 16 dollars short when mike realized I had promos with my rewards. Tha kfully he took most of the difference off so we could walk away with a new game that we are very pleased with. Amazing service and amazing people.

Fantastic experience: Very nice staff. I had some silly questions, but they were very kind to me and helped me out. It was great to be able to ask my questions and feel welcomed (sometimes the gamer community can be so toxic). The parking lot is a bit odd but the staff and game selection is definitely above par for a gamestop. If you're nearby and looking to grab something, I'd definitely recommend this location.
