Fantastic experience: Passed by this GameStop location earlier this afternoon. This is My first time going to this location in Roseville. I came in to sell ten Video Game discs. I noticed two people were at the register and I was waiting in line. When I walked up to the register, the worker Sierra was really nice and kind. Out of the ten video game discs, only eight of them were accepted which means 80% of the video game discs were accepted and the two other video game discs were denied. The service was good. I received almost $16 for the refund. By the way most of the video games that I sold were purchased more than a decade ago, some of them 2012 and 2015.
Fantastic experience: Great! I know all the hype for new pokémon, but nice to go somewhere and get 2 x 3pk blisters of OBF. Been an online guy for a minute and it's been abysmal, I'm sure you all know. Decided to get pro member and even go to a free Batman Rebirth figure with comic book sealed. Been playing PTCGL online and the clerk gave me some free code cards, too! Really appreciate the quick nerd out. May the 4th be with you!
Negative experience: So there was around 70 people in line for a pokemon drop and you got about 70 items so you decided to let everyone buy 2 packs, lame
Fantastic experience: Really nice staff and usually have extra collectible stuff like figures and plushes. The staff is always nice enough to remember me and let me know what's coming up and recomend a good preorder.
Negative experience: yea the reviews were right about this gamepstop. Came in to see if there were any pokemon cards for my twins boys and i asked what the limit was and the obnoxious rude employee responded “2”. I didn’t mind that but I asked how come other gamestop’s are different & both employees responded that they wanna give kids a chance to buy. which ok good for them right.. as i grabbed my 2 packs i went up to the guy who kept responding to my question to only say in a rude tone “im on lunch”.. made me feel very uncomfortable and just weird. I don’t understand anyone who’s on lunch to take there lunch at the register and act like they are working. Idk but i left my packs there and just dipped. Very rude employees who just make you feel uncomfortable. I don’t feel comfortable or safe to bring my kids into this kind of environment at all. This gamestop doesn’t feel very welcoming at all.. please save yourself the time/drive. plus it reeked of a bad odor
Negative experience: Would give 0 stars if possible. This place is a joke. And Gamestop seems to be heading downhill pretty rapidly. Completely incompetent staff. They don't care to be there, as previous reviews said. I also met the employee who stated he hated this job, it was too much to ask of him to stock shelves etc. I think he was the one who handed over my graded PSA cards to someone who was not me. My cards were lost in November. They are worth good money. Not only have I not been reimbursed for my grading fees. I have yet to be reimbursed for the value of my cards. Let alone my time after making 5 trips, 6 calls, an email chain to their online customer service center. Still nothing. It's been a week since I called saying I need a refund NOW for at least the 5th time since January. Do not waste your time and money in this store. They are garbage.
Positive experience: Wrong parts twice.
Negative experience: Hands down one of the worst Game Stops I've been to. Upon entering the store, the person working didn't greet me or my wife, nor did they talk to us the entire time we were there(maybe 20 minutes). While we were browsing the store, a friend of the associate, who apparently was also previously an employee, came in and the two of them started talking. My wife and I ended up finding a few items and an unmarked item to get price checked, but the employee did not acknowledge us and kept talking to their friend. The associate was saying they don't care about the place, should've just called out, and was "looking for another job anyways". This store should've closed down and the one on Pleasant Grove should've stayed open.

Negative experience: Terrible experience there with their staff. Today. I came and gave them my phone number to return something and they neglected to sign out before they process another person's order. When I went up to the front desk to ask Sierra SL what was going on, she was extremely rude and refused to help me even though it was her error. Mistakes happen all the time, it's how you handle them that counts. I tried to call GameStop corporate and you can't even get through on the phone to them. I feel like my personal information was compromised and neither the GameStop staff at the store or corporate is willing to do anything or help. My suggestion to anyone that's considering going to this GameStop, just walk next door to Target. They have better prices and far better customer service. Very disappointed with GameStop. I contacted them to try and give them an opportunity to rectify the situation. They have no interest in doing anything. If I could have given them zero Stars they would have gotten zero. Avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: Ganestop has a new sleazy way of buying controllers from customers. If the controllers are not charged they label it as defective instead if paying the normal cheapskate 30% value, they will offer 10%. just because they don't keep systems to properly test peripherals. I know they do that on purpose. The two clerks weren't too bad though.

Negative experience: Went in grabbed super Mario deluxe they switched it for Mario party told me to add the sticker of a warranty in the case I went back to the car saw it wasn't the game I originally gave them to buy and they said they can't exchange it for super Mario because the plastic wrap is off I give them a zero star if I could they made me waste 65$

Fantastic experience: Evelyn searched for an item I left at the store a month prior. Eventually her staff found it. Just shows the amount of integrity her and her staff have at this location. This is all in addition to how kind, understanding and thoughtful she was. Great team!

Fantastic experience: I went to Gamestop to purchase Super Mario Odyssey for the Switch. They had a new and used ones in stock. The price online was $42.99 and in the store it was $59.99?? Not sure why the discrepancy but Janelle said that they can price match Best Buy who also had it advertised at $42.99. That saved me a trip to Best Buy and was a great example of excellent customer service.

Negative experience: I don't know why I bother. It's not isolated to this location, but it's continued existence as a business flabbergasts me. I expect it to change but it only changes to worsening conditions. Hardly any used games. Hardly any games at all! I get there's chip shortages currently, but this company doesn't even have the stones to show new consoles online as sold out. They hide them from the site entirely. As a company that relies on games being bought and sold, you'd think they could get more restocks. Don't waste your time.

Negative experience: Purchased a new copy of Persona 5 Royal for PS4 online for in store pickup. When I got to the store, received a very clearly used copy. They didn’t even bother to put it in new shrink wrap this time. Tried contacting GameStop customer service but no response. Unbelievable business practices.

Negative experience: I placed an order on Friday a couple hours after they opened. I came around 4 o'clock to pick it up and I was confused that everything was shut down. I tried calling the store twice and nothing. I was confused because the store hours said 12-7. Then a lady comes out and I question her what's going on and she was incredibly rude and judgemental. She said I need to come back another day due to staffing issues. Now its sunday and I'm calling the store like instructed but they have the hook off the line so they wont help any customers . I PAID FOR THESE PRODUCTS AND I CANt EVEN prossess a refunds because you cant get ahold of anyone!

Positive experience: GameStop continues to surprise me with their deals. I had never really been an avid console gamer, however I love the old school Genesis and Wii, surprisingly there are still Wii games sold on floor at almost every GameStop around me! Staff was very nice and store was kept fairly clean. Only knock on the rating is due to the prices of the old Wii and Xbox 360 accessories, $35 for just a Wii remote? eBay has them for $10 with motionplus. Not the best place for console accessories, but one of the best for games.

Negative experience: I was doing a return and the girl didn't want to help me, she said she looked up the last 5 transactions and the items weren't on there. Returned other items with my phone number and my membership number then gave me a gift card. Problem was she didn't ask for my ID! Anyone who knows my number could steal the games and do the returns for a gift card! They were getting ready to close so she didn't want to be bothered when I left I found the receipt and went back but the locked the door in my face! Don't go here!
Fantastic experience: Best GameStop I've experienced in years. Staffed by the best kinds of nerds who I can have a conversation about anything from Critical Role, to fighting games, to DS genre benders, to running DnD games, to current events. Every two weeks I come by to catch up with this crowd and though my gaming backlog is way too much for me to hit and hold a job down, their conversation always leaves me smiling. Perfect for waiting to get a haircut next door too. Come buy stuff from these folks: they deserve your monies.

Negative experience: So I come in for a 2TB harddrive that says 79.99 on the package as well as online 10-15mins early so I could handle other obligations, but they didn't honor the price that was on the package, pathetic. This location is always backed up too, I know GSTOP are all time hustlers but really?
