Negative experience: I went to this GameStop to purchase hello kitty game for Nintendo switch and I had other game and I went to check out and the sticker price on the hello kitty game case was 24 and it rang up for 40 dollars and the name of the game on the pad to tell me the total of purchase didn’t match the game I had in my had is so I ask gaege why it said 40 and not 25 and he just said oh well someone must of put the wrong tag and I can tell gaege didn’t want to honor the price the on the case was so I told I’ll wait on the game and so I looked up on GameStop.com to see the price and I showed him and gaege could was it must be a online price and the web page didn’t say it was a online price and Normally GameStop Honors the online price from there web site. Disappointing Experience at that GameStop and gaege wasn’t to friendly he needs to work on his customer service.
Positive experience: mediocre but ok for the middle of the mall
Negative experience: Worker showed up right at 10. Store not open at time listed. Saw him a deny a customer trying to enter the store at opening time.

Negative experience: Sold me two broken switch lites back to back just to scam me out of 33 dollars. Go ahead and just close down all the GameStops at this point. But it’s okay they added me to pro membership which I never asked for and haven’t shopped at a GameStop in over 3 years. So now I’m down two switches but aye I’m pro member now I guess
Fantastic experience: We had previously attempted to get a replacement for a recently purchased defective/warrantied headset. After a visit to a different store, and customer service call with no help, Luis at this location completed our transaction quickly and effortlessly. I will be coming back to this location just because of him.
Negative experience: I been a frequent customer of this GameStop for the past several years usually only looking for new Pokémon plush to collect and occasionally buying a game. Most times I've visited the store have been a great experience and enjoyed seeing Luis who was a cool guy working the counter and it was always a delight talking to him whenever he rung the items I'd find. However lately, visits here hadn't been as enjoyable especially not seeing Luis there anymore for some reason for the past 5 months. Instead the place is now run by 2 other guys who seem very weird and don't take their job seriously. One of the guys has glasses and long black curly hair worn in a man bun gives unsettling vibes as I recall earlier this year when me and my friend stopped by one afternoon and the guy appeared to be hitting on my friend while we were looking around which made him uncomfortable. Just last month me and my friend stopped by and I had picked out a Teddiursa and Treecko plush to buy. Everything seemed to be going smoothly as the dude scanned the plushies and I paid around $30 in cash for them. After I paid, the guy handed me my Pokémon plushies but didn't give me any chance back. I didn't say anything though as I didn't want to cause a scene or sound like a jerk so I just left. For anyone who visits this GameStop, be aware of these guys, specifically the one I mentioned.

Negative experience: Negative 5 stars. Cashier acted like an arrogant jerk when I told him I didn't want to sign up for his rewards program. "But you have the money for it. You're buying something right?" is what he told me. Re-train this man, his arrogant tone and trying to pressure me into joining your stupid rewards program knocked you down from a 5 star to 1 star review. You can thank him for that. Will never shop here again.
Positive experience: This GameStop is a nice spot—always clean and generally well-kept, which I really appreciate. The store layout does change from time to time, so finding certain games can take a bit of extra browsing. And lately, there seems to be more merchandise than actual games, which might not be everyone’s preference. That said, the prices are usually a little lower than what you'd find online, especially during their big sales—definitely a great time to pick up some deals. The staff is friendly, though a bit on the quiet side. A little more engagement would make the shopping experience even better, but overall, it's a solid place to visit if you're into games and gaming merch.
Negative experience: Went to this location that I go to all the time to exchange my headset that broke. According them when selling the extended warranty to me you can exchange them no matter what and I have before. This time nope. They would not and you can tell its a manufacturer defect because the headset snapped right where you put them on your head. The guy behind the counter was taking picture sending them to his manager which took forever to get an answer. Probably a lie they tell their customers just so they purchase the extended warranty but you cant use it for anything. Wont be back. I am also a PRO member that will be canceling.
Fantastic experience: Jett is amazing!!!! We came in just for help because we are old and dumb. Our son wanted a game downloaded on his Switch and we just couldn't figure out how to complete it. Jett had so much patience with us. Jett saved the day!!

Negative experience: Horrible place to shop! They basically stole money fr9m my 11 year old son. He bought a converter for a PS2 on their recommendation. When the cable came in the converte wasn't needed. We tried to return it unopened and they flat out said no! Works place ever! Never shop here!
Negative experience: Went in because somehow I magically keep getting notifications from my bank that GameStop is charging me for a Pro account that I have already cancelled twice. Went to talk to a manager and got Assistant manager Janel. All she could do was offer the 1800 number and a bunch of excuses. When I asked for her manager to see if they had any solutions conveniently there wasn’t one around and she said she couldn’t relay my information to them or help me out to call the 1800 number. Poor customer service.
Negative experience: I've come here 2 separate times and each time they were not open at 10 like it is stated on Google. I've had to wait out side the store for over an hour. The last time i arrived, it was about 11:30 and there was a line out side but the doors were still locked. Change your hours if this is how it is going to be.. making me waste my gas
Negative experience: If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Came to this store to trade a controller out as i normally do every few months. Came to the store around 430 pm Saturday June 14th. Spoke to an employee named Paige. Couldn’t get her last name as she refused to give me her name and also refused to give me her managers full name and contact info or a time that I could come by and talk to him. Been a pro member with GameStop for over 10 years now. Never once have I ever had my picture taken to trade anything. The trade law she mentions only applies to fire arms in the state of New Mexico. After I explained what law she was referring to she got super condescending and started treating me very rudely. I definitely won’t be coming back to this store. GameStop customer service has gotten so horrible lately it’s ridiculous. Think it’s time I say goodbye to my GameStop subscription.

Positive experience: Took my cards for a psa submission. It took me three separate attempts for it to happen because they didnt have supplies. Omar completed my submission. He was awesome and treated my cards with care and respect.
Fantastic experience: This is such a great place to visit for TCG and games. Yes, most games are all digital but owning your physical copies is so much better. Consoles may go all digital and when this happens I am going exclusively PC. The employees here are helpful and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: The family and I love this GameStop location. The parking lot is handicap accessible and the store itself is laid out with enough room for someone in a wheelchair to easily navigate.

Negative experience: Went in to get Zelda preorder on 5/12/23. Associate asked if I wanted a warranty for my game. I politely said no, When I left the store I saw the warranty was charged on the receipt. And never got my preorder bonus.

Negative experience: I called and asked if they had a specific item in stock and after confirming I drove across town to get there to a sign on the door that said back soon. The lady came out and said sorry I’m closed gotta go on my break. After knowing someone just drove across town and sat in the parking lot waiting already for 15-20 min. Very inconsiderate, I get it take your break but you knew someone was actively in route and to have the door shut 15-20 min before you even go on break. Sounds like some oversight is needed here.
Negative experience: Been in line for 30mins now. 1 cashier has been helping the same person the entire time… as slow as possible. She hasn’t acknowledged the people in line and the other employee is stocking and ignoring the growing line. Left and went somewhere else after 45mins.

Negative experience: This store never has anything in stock. You ALWAYS have to drive to another location in Albuquerque to get anything you want. Maybe stock a few more games people want like the other stores in town do.

The location closed an hour earlier than the posted time and the employees sat at the counter chatting while looking at us coming to the door and checking the hours. We were looking to make a sizable purchase but i suppose with the ethics gamestop has as a corporate entity I can't fully blame the employees for wanting to leave asap.

All used items are overpriced or not in stock no controllers no mics no anything. Staff didn't even want to help procure items I've been trying to get. Go online save the trip don't go here.

Negative experience: I went to return four games I bought from there and they would not let me it without a mask even with a letter from my doctor stating I am at more of a risk wearing my mask because of my underlying health conditions. Terrible service from gamestop they should be ashamed of not helping customers with health conditions.
Negative experience: They let my child (19) order and pay for game without me (member) present. Then refused to give my child (19 yr old) the game he paid for. Then QUARANTINE happens. I am now able to pick up the game myself. But the game that was RESERVED is no longer available at this location. So we have to go search another Gamestop who will call the original Gamestop to confirm we had pre order of a game that came out 4 months ago. If i could give negative stars i would.

Negative experience: This location straight up lied to me about the release of Doom Eternal on Switch, I went in on Monday 3/16/20 to preorder the game, I had two workers say I could come pick up the Switch version on Friday, I get there today and they tell me the game is delayed for Switch, with no real release date at all... I'm super disappointed and looking it up on the net showed they knew the game wasn't going to be ready on the 20th but they lied to me and took my money... Horrible,
Positive experience: Poor employee was left to work by himself, the line was out the door, everyone called in "sick" the day after Xmas. He was nice even though he was swamped. Waited 45 min in line.

Positive experience: Staff kinda acts like they know more and dont care about your opinion. The girls that work there have always been sweet and helpful. The guys too just with that ....but it's a gamestop what else can be said. Lots of selections
