Fantastic experience: Dude this guy is awesome and the pricing is great! I had a problem with my light gun and it wasn’t working on the game because it just kept spazzing all over the place and he managed to fix it. And he did a really good professional job putting it back together! Definitely the go to Guy for wanting to get stuff done and is super knowledgeable. Can’t sing enough good appraises about him!

Fantastic experience: The Game Peddler is hands down one of the coolest game shops around. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and actually takes the time to help you find what you’re looking for. Great selection of retro games, consoles, accessories, and collectibles at fair prices. The atmosphere is welcoming whether you’re a hardcore collector or just getting back into gaming. Definitely worth stopping by if you love video games and gaming culture.

Negative experience: 10:38 a.m. on a Saturday and not open even though they're supposed to open at 10:00 a.m.

Positive experience: Decent shop, good variety. The guy working there was kind of loud, but not bad otherwise

Fantastic experience: Great shop, I’d say the best used video game shop in the state, if you’re looking to sell your old games this is definitely the place to do it. The owner seems like a nice, honest, solid dude, he always offers me a fair price when I’m trying to sell something, and I never feel like I have to haggle, or like I’m being taken for a ride. The shop is clean, organized, and has a great selection and everything in the store seems priced appropriately (at least to me). I don’t imagine I’ll ever go anywhere else.

Positive experience: Not bad selection. High prices. Console systems only. Older consoles for sale at high prices.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing place. I've been shopping with the Game Pedler for decades. Great value ,selection and prices.

Positive experience: Another good retro game store. Great conditions and reasonable prices but some higher prices. Trade-ins accepted. They have rare games to sell at times but they go fast. Also sell game accessories and Blu-ray movies. And offer repairs on discs.

Negative experience: The store is great for old stuff, however the owner is garbage. He sold us a BROKEN PS2 and then when he finally realized its broken said he could try to fix it. He tried and was not successful, told us he didnt have another PS2 in stock and we could wait to see if he got another one within the next few months. Heard NOTHING from him so I called back to get our money back.. He told me he NEVER IN HIS 20 SOMETHING YEARS HAS JUST LEFT A CUSTOMER HANGING. He basically accused me of lying and said he needed to think about it because he never would do that(he freaking did do that) we were moving out of state and trying to get it taken care of.. long story short we are out hundreds of dollars because we bought a bunch of ps2 games as well as the console. So if you ever get a broken console, just tell him you want your money back right there because if you wait he will forget and keep your money. Very dissatisfied with the customer service throughout my whole process with that. Especially because I had to call for any info throughout the whole process.

Positive experience: The Owner was Pretty Nice! Plus I got 2 REALLY Good PSP games for a FAIR Price! Just wish he had a little more Obscure like NGPC and WonderSwan Color! Plus Atari Lynx!

I had been looking for a good while to find something in great condition with all the paperwork and they happen to have it. I forgot the gentleman's name but he was very helpful and was happy with everything. Highly recommend!

This guy knows his stuff, is super friendly, and genuinely passionate about gaming — he gave me the lowdown on some hidden gems and made me feel like a VIP. I walked out with sealed copies of Krusty’s Fun House for the NES and the GTA V Special Edition for PS3 — talk about a score! Fantastic experience: Owner was really polite, a bit quiet but he was really respectful. Came in to buy Resident Evil 0 for GameCube and a harvest moon game for the Nintendo switch, he even recommended a couple local game stores such as game changerz as a good place to find more GameCube games. Overall great place, doesn't smell, isn't overpriced and not ran by a nitwit like world game store. Come here!

Fantastic experience: Thought the prices were great for their games found alice madness returns in great condition for 30 bucks (mind you this game is usually 40 to 50 online on ebay) so to find that game at that price is awesome also got my wife the original snow white on Blu-ray (also was 15 bucks for that) so they sell movies as well give this place a shot its a small cozy place and the owner was chill as long as you listen to the refund policies and don't act entitled he's chill

Fantastic experience: There’s usually an older gentleman here, so I’m not sure if there’s other workers. He is very helpful and knowledgeable about a lot of things and honest about his prices. I recently bought an old Gameboy in beautiful shape, very clean with all the stickers, upc codes and even the manuals for $99. He told me it was a great deal and that he probably should charge more but that’s what he stickered it at when he got it in. All parts and whatnot are original and I appreciate him not up charging (like other stores do) because he could’ve very easily charged way more. Things are very attainable for people who want an older game or system and wish to share these joys with their families, friends or just themselves! I highly recommend this store.

Positive experience: The only bad thing I can say about Game Pedler is the lack of parking. This is one of the BEST video game stores in the Salt Lake area, and I've been to them all. Negative experience: Went to check it out for the first time since they moved from valley fair. Went inside the guy inside waited a minute or so to greet me and then after that just went in the back. Looked around for a minute decided I was going to buy something so I went and waited by the counter where he walked back beforehand and after waiting 2-3 minutes for him to come out I just decided to leave. If they don’t want my business so be it I’ll go to the Game Changerz down the block where they actually care to help their customers. Only good thing I could say is they had a decent amount of items, even if half of it was overpriced.

Positive experience: Love the contents of the store. It is as people say as a reasonable portion of the items are more in store than online and that's my only complaint.

Fantastic experience: Gamepedler has been around since I was a kid, I can remember all the mall locals over the years, South Towne, Fashion Place, Cottonwood(torn down years ago, sadly) and Valley Fair. I've, honestly, never had a bad experience here. Sure, I've had times ice not found anything, but that's what you get with a used game store. There is always stuff going in and out, and other times, I've struck gold on finding something, personal gold, like games from my childhood. Parking isn't great, but that's also why we have legs, park nearby, pay the place a visit, you may find something awesome. Also, this place is run by one dude(to my knowledge), Greg, he is a stand up guy, so if you get a bad experience, remember he is human, he uses the same trade in systems as every other game store that deal on retro merch and pervious gen consoles, he does get in brand new stuff as well. So don't give him a bad time or 1 star rate his establishment, his has been, is, and will be the only GamePedler, and is Utah Original, locally own.

Fantastic experience: My N64 was not working and we took it down to have it inspected. After multiple troubleshooting we were ready to give up and buy a new N64 on the spot. The guy at the store refused to let us buy a new N64 until we had exhausted all possibilities. We ended up finding out that the ram was needed to be replaced. Luckily he had one in store and only cost $13 vs. what the N64 would have cost. This guy is awesome and a prime example of what customer service is. We are never going anywhere else or buying anything game related online without coming here first. This guy needs a raise!

Fantastic experience: This guy has been in business for some time now. Used to have a shop in the West Valley Fair Mall. Now moved to state street in south Salt Lake area a few blocks north of 2700 south small shop but I think he likes it that way. Good friendly service he had a TV running the Simpsons on when I walked in. Prices looked pretty fair.

Fantastic experience: Every time I visit this store, I'm always surprised by the good lineup of classic games available. The owner is also very nice, making this a good store to visit regularly. If you're specifically looking for classic NES, N64, Sega Genesis, or other cartridge-era games, this store is absolutely worth the visit.

Negative experience: First timer it's Tuesday February 16th 2021 it's 10:24 a.m. and the shop is still closed but it says it opens at 10:00 a.m. waiting 5 more minutes if they're not open will never come back here again false advertising.
