Fantastic experience: This Game Stop location is usually in stock and always nice and tidy! They add fun things for customers like sometimes coin macines, and people there are helpful. The most helpful there is Joe! He is kind and will go out of his way to help you or explain a product, etc. He's a really great guy that genuinely seems like he wants to help customers!

Negative experience: Closed early at 8:45 came all the way from Ogden to pickup a copy of final fantasy 1-6 since it was the only store that had it. Very unprofessional they were just stating on the phone inside the building.

Fantastic experience: The store manager is so nice she helped me trade in my PS5 and pre-order the Switch 2. Also, the rest of the staff were very nice too and helped me with a PS Portal trade-in that took a bit. The Switch 2 release was awesome and ran very smoothly. I’m hoping to be back for the Pokémon ZA midnight release

Fantastic experience: Was there to pick up the Switch 2. Shoutout to Gwen and the rest of the staff for getting everything organized and getting everyone their Switch 2 systems. It could not have been easy to get everything ready, but they made the process very smooth and painless. The store also has a great selection of new and pre-owned games and accessories.

Negative experience: This place is absolutely useless they don't tell you anything about their policies I was a day late from being able to return something I've never really been to GameStop so I had no idea hey everything you need to return anything is on the receipt it would've been cool for them to tell you that oh ya be careful they aren't above selling you a game that doesn't work at all since they won't check it either I used to love GameStop but honestly I wouldn't go back even if you paid me so disappointed they are disrespectful and rude and don't care what happens to the customers product as long as they get their sells

Negative experience: Came in and asked for one month of ps plus, the guy rang me up for it. When I was walking out of the store I noticed it was a gift card, I told the guy before I left that you gave me a gift card and not ps plus. He said my bad unfortunately I can’t refund that. What a scam GameStop has become. There is a reason I have not repurchased my pro subscription with them. I’d rather shop from third party from now on.

Fantastic experience: Had not been in a GameStop in years. They have changed them up. Still lots on current games new and used but more open space, more other things besides games. Staff was curtious and knowledgeable. Made me want to stop by more often and see what they have.

Fantastic experience: I had a good interaction here today. My preorder of a game at Best Buy had fallen through as they oversold. I was able to reserve the final copy here and it was ready for pickup within an hour. Employees were super friendly and knowledgeable.

Negative experience: Do not make an online order at this location. They will cancel it and you will be out the money for a week! Kyle the store manager doesn’t care either. I went in and asked if I could make an online order for in store pick up and the employee said “It may let you.” So I did and to my surprise…it did let me!!! So I made the order. 20 minutes later, the order was cancelled. I checked my bank and I had been charged. When I called, they told me the policy was one per person. Yet they let me do more online! Kyle didn’t care that his employee told me that I may be able to complete the transaction. He just cancelled anyway. Absolute joke. Stop shopping at GameStop and let the store die finally.

Negative experience: We went into a GameStop to look for a game, but that location didn’t have it and told us to go to another location that did. We went there and they said they didn’t have it either, and that we should have called ahead to se if they did. They then suggested we go to this one, but to call them and have them hold it. We called while on our way to have them hold it. When we called the guy very rudely said they weren’t holding for the holiday. The holiday is over. We drove 20 miles to get there, and the guy said that he just sold it a couple of minutes before we got there. Then tried to tell us to check the store we had just came from. When I told him that they were the ones that sent us to his store, and were the ones that told us to call ahead to have him hold it he got even more rude about it. Between this experience and the slow decline of customer service quality at almost every location after nearly 20 years has made me decide never to shop at GameStop again. This all transpired around 2:30 pm on 12/27/23.

Negative experience: Started a return online, says I can do the return in person so I stop by this location just bring the return confirmation. I show up and they start coming up with crazy reasons why I can’t return the game, first the shipping box wasn’t the original (it’s just a cardboard box I used to transport it), then its because it’s an online purchase and I have to go to FedEx (huh?), then the edition of the game has a digital code inside (the game is unopened and still sealed), then more than 7 days have passed since I purchased the game (it took more than 7 days to ship to me) so they demanded to see the shipping confirmation. What? I showed them everything they asked for. So finally the “district manager”, Carlos says they can finally process the return but nope! There’s a system problem that they can override and they give me a customer service number. Honestly I don’t remember the last time I returned an item to GameStop but my goodness! Pray that you don’t have to. What a circus. Ohh and the reason I was returning it is because abuse it got damaged in shipping.

Negative experience: I went here twice recently at different times. The first time I wanted to get a new mmo mouse. I asked the rep there how the ones they had compared to the LG G600 MMO mouse. The rep told me "I have absolutely no clue I don't play PC games so I couldn't tell you." I'm sorry if you work at a gaming store maybe you should know basic info like this. The second time I went in was a week ago. I had called them and asked if they could take my first gen switch. No one on the phone told me I needed to bring any of the accessories. I walked into the store and was told that my switch was heavily damaged. The same rep who told me that he didn't know the difference between the mmo mice. He then turned to his co worker and said "Well its your call, but I wouldn't take this she doesn't even have the charger or dock and we would lose money if we took it. It's your call but I would take a hard pass on this." I was shocked at how unprofessional they were towards me. I have since told everyone I know not to go back to this place. It's a joke.

Fantastic experience: Austin gave me the best customer service I could have asked for. I had a hard time finding a game that I wanted. I walked into the store. Rather than just telling me they didn't have it, Austin looked at his system, found the game I wanted at the store nearest my home, he called that store, had them hold it, and gave me his card. When I arrived at my destination I gave them Austin's name as well as mine and I didn't need to explain anything. Austin was fantastic and I am coming to him for all my gaming needs. I highly recommend his store. The service was beyond fantastic. I am becoming more loyal to GameStop because of the amazing service I received.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Austin. Dude was really great to work with and showed me some Diablo 4 trailers, which of course led to me pre ordering. Dude didn’t feel like a salesman but someone who truly wants me to enjoy my games. The receipt didn’t print out right the first time so I couldn’t do the survey for him. Fantastic experience: Full disclosure, I don't like Gamestops and got dragged there by someone else. However my most recent experience was AMAZING and now this is only Gamestop I will shop at for the rest of my life! Is it a special Gamestop? Nah. But it has a super special employee- Austin with the beard! He provided the BEST service, was incredibly knowledgeable about the games and system we were asking about, and he was hilarious. Even when giving bad news, he was amazing. Oh, and he's bilingual, so he's amazing in Spanish too! If Gamestop doesn't have this Austin, I don't want it.

Negative experience: Bought a $200 gift card here. The clerk didn't load the funds. And the store won't do anything about it. Someone doesn't do their job and the customer has to do all the work. Don't stop in when Austin is here. He is too lazy to earn his paycheck.

Negative experience: When I see items for sale on shelves, and the store associate confirms they're in stock, I expect to be able to give you money in exchange for them. Multiple copies on the shelf. NONE in stock, unless you include the one that was on hold. My recommendation: don't put cases on shelves for games that are out of stock or all on hold. When they are on shelves, the store associates will assume copies are in stock for sale. Gamestop was really losing their touch these days. This location, specifically, was my go to location for years, but it's just not worth it anymore. My brother and I wasted our time looking for pro day deals today, and we didn't know that the only way to find deals was online until we asked someone specifically specifically. Neither of the attendants would tell us what was going on until we asked. That's really the kind of thing you should lead with when a customer comes in the store, and it used to be long ago. Just say, "Thank you for visiting gamestop on our pro day! You will find our in-store deals here, but some things are online. Scan the QR Code for details." Then, instead of spending any more time staring at our phones to look up deals, we thought we would head out after asking one more question. I wanted to know the value of my Destiny Taken King edition PS4 console at trade in since part of the pro day was an extra $50 towards certain consoles. They actually said that gamestop in general is not offering trade ins for that PS4. He said gamestop may have too many of that PS4 and that's probably the reason why they aren't offering trade and credit for it. Or it could have been that it came with a digital only game (even though the original bundle came with a physical Destiny with code for DLC, and Gamestop takes games with used DLC codes all the time). I looked online later, and that edition of PS4 is a is available for trade and credit.

Negative experience: Every time I come here I am never greeted as I enter, I am always given sass when I ask questions. They have items on display that aren’t actually in stock or available to purchase. I come here often and after recent issues I’ve had at this location I’ve been going to others in the area and I am treated so much better. I returned to this location to see if my experience has changed but it hasn’t. I left two star cause I still got what I needed at a decent price. I won’t be returning to this location.

Fantastic experience: The customer service is awesome trevor is the man and the manager is super nice and will help with any questions. As always due to bills and life having the extra money for the newest games is a struggle.
