Negative experience: Haven't shopped at gamestop in years, finally buying my daughter a ps5 and a handful of games for Christmas and after waiting in line the employee decides to come up to me and tell me they're closed 5 minutes before 9. I understand you close at a certain time but after already being in line and being the next customer up with a $600 plus sale waiting, I can see why gamestop is not the brand it used to be. Literally went next store right after to Abercrombie and was still able to make a purchase there.

Fantastic experience: Came in for Pokémon and Jay behind the counter was awesome. Super kind and she was happy to talk cards with me for a bit. Great experience!

Negative experience: I want to bring attention to the misleading tactics GameStop uses to get customers to sign up for their Pro Membership. Promises made at sign-up, such as promotional codes or discounts, are not honored, and canceling the membership is an unnecessarily difficult and frustrating process. I filed a complaint, but based on my experience, I doubt it will ever reach the right people or lead to any real change. Beware: No matter what they offer you, do not sign up for the Pro Membership. It’s designed to lock you in, making cancellation an exhausting process filled with endless customer service calls and obstacles. GameStop needs to be held accountable for these deceptive practices. I urge them to address this issue and make the cancellation process transparent and hassle-free.

Negative experience: My family will never visit this place again. The manager was extremely rude and didn't want to help until customer service was called and we explained why we were being treated the way we were. Just before we left the manager said he never wants to see us in his store ever again..so much for customers 1st...

Negative experience: The lame employee working at 12:30 on Wednesday Dec 13 was rude with an ugly attitude. Called a day earlier asking if this figure was in stock as the website showed 2 in the system. The employee said nope that they were for pre orders only. I placed the order on the site anyway for pickup the next day as it still said 2 in stock despite what they claim they have to fulfill for preorders the site is allowing me to purchase them. Not my problem if someone decides to linger on their pre order. I went to pickup the figure and the guy at the front checkout was so ugly about “You shouldn’t even be able to order this” “I don’t know why they let you purchase this” and gave me the ugliest bent figure. I kindly asked if I would be able to get another one as the corner was all bent and I knew there were 2 in stock . Instead the lame employee just threw the figure in a giant bag and shoved it at me with the receipt. Glad they’ll be out of business soon

Negative experience: Employees are not properly trained or educated on what to do when “the system goes down” there is nowhere near enough manpower to address more than 3 people in a store causing disorder and chaos to check out and more importantly, I’ve waited over a month for a refund on an item for pick up that was cancelled. I’ve called customer service 3 times, received a “trouble ticket” number that leads nowhere and every associate I speak with has no idea what is going on. GameStop used to be an awesome company of dedicated devoted and informed people and now it’s become an outsourced, unorganized and incompetent disorganization where no one knows what is happening.

Negative experience: This place is trash, the workers there only seem to like to talk to men, because I was at the register looking for help, and the employee looked PAST ME and greeted and spoke to 2 other MALE customers, and didn't even acknowledge my presence. I waited to see if his customer service skills would eventually kick in, but he continued to ignore me, so I went to buy my elite controller and accessories in another store.

Negative experience: Tried to sell two games, first game i had, they are not taking anymore for the xbox 1, but they are taking the same game for the ps4. Then they started they couldnt use my ID because its expire. Normally I would understand, however I work at Speedway Gas Station and right now we are allowed to except expire IDs for age restricted products. Again AGE RESTRICTED. I mean come on, im selling a game, not buying beer.

Negative experience: Wish I could give this gamestop less than 1 star horrible customer service employees are exremely rude and are too busy gossiping behind the counter and using their own personal phones instead of actually helping or attending to customers going to start doing my purchases for video game software at Walmart (sells same products cheaper) or Best Buy to get better customer service and deals

Fantastic experience: Great Gamestop location; the employees are very friendly and are very helpful. Today I went to other Cielo Vista's stores and all of the workers ignored me. Which to be fair, is a typical reaction regardless of where I go (my girlfriend says that I have a "too unapproachable demeanor" but its how I always look). Everyone except me gets asked if they need help. Anyways, this Gamestop had a lot of options and a young lady who had pink hair (I do not recall her name) actually went out of her way to help me. I put customer service before price, and this Gamestop deserves a 5/5 for both categories.Thank you, Gamestop.

Negative experience: Went to this store at the mall and purchased Dishonored 2 as a gift..... the incompetent staff member gave me an empty case....! You know how embarrass that was for me..... seeing that kids face having opened an empty case....! Like the cruelest joke ever because they hire incompetent associates.....!
