Negative experience: This particular location left me very disappointed. The inside of the store was extremely dirty, with trash and cardboard scattered around. The smell was overwhelming—like stagnant toilet water—which made it uncomfortable to even stay inside. Honestly, it felt unsanitary and could pose a hazard or danger for customers walking through. A place that handles so many customers and families should be much cleaner and safer. I hope management addresses these issues quickly, because in its current state, this store is not welcoming at all and shouldn’t be open!!!

Negative experience: Lex the Manager is very unprofessional. I walked in and wasn't greet until five minutes later as she was on the phone (assuming her boss) complaining about one of her employees going on a rant. Be more professional and take those calls in the back and don't air out your employee issue in front of your customers.

Negative experience: * Edit Dec 2022: The manager made it a horrible experience. He is rude and demanding and anytime I have him as my cashier, it’s the same. * Went in to exchange my Xbox controller and cashier (Francisco) was very helpful. Even as I was browsing he checked up on me once or twice and let me know what was on clearance. Definitely my fav GameStop location

Negative experience: Horrible "pre order" experience orderd a game the last week of October told me it was going to get here November 6th. I show up to the store and they had to send an email to the distributor. Called back a week later they told me they were going to pick up my game from another location, I show up the next day and they forgot to pick up the game and it sells out all over town. Really unacceptable how game stop takes care of there guest. Its like playing cat and mouse with this store.

Negative experience: The gentlemen that was working at this location ( Lee Trevino - ElPaso) didn’t know much about release dates of games nor did he have any knowledge about any of the four games I had in mind to purchase for my kids and myself that evening. I had to look it up on my phone to correct his guessing he seemed very bothered that he had to check his computer to take a look for himself. He didn’t seem to know or was too lazy to help with what it was I needed to play the Just Dance games and jus said I could use the regular controllers after me telling him I was looking for the Move Motion controllers (who would want to use the regular controllers, that’s the whole experience with that game which is dancing along with it). He was just incompetent and seemed to just want me to leave the store as soon as possible. Need better customer service there. I ended up leaving the store with none of the items I had drivin there to buy and drove straight to Best Buy and found every single item I needed to make my kids weekend better. I’ll never shop at one of these again regardless. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Negative experience: So I bought a pre-owned Xbox Series X Play and Charge Kit for $20 from this store, drove all the way over there, picked it up but when I looked inside it was an off-brand charging station that had like individual battery cylinders and a mounting board which is not at all what I wanted. What I wanted was a Microsoft brand that had just one square battery and a micro USB cable, no charging station. So I went back inside told them I had the wrong one but they said that when I buy a pre-owned one it doesn’t mean I get the item that I actually wanted and can be whatever they decide it could be. This is fraud and misrepresentation, if this is nationwide policy it could be a RICO violation but I doubt that would be the case. The product in the bag was again off-brand and looked like it had been used for more than the one month the product I wanted has been out, yet they decided that it should only be $5 cheaper than the superior brand item. I bet they paid the previous owner like $3 for their used item and tried to flip it for a big profit because it was very cheap and I hadn’t seen rechargeable batteries like those in years. If they want to resell it it should be for $10 max not $20. What is also wrong is that if you look at much similar items to the one they tried to sell me such as Dual Charging Station for Series X by PowerA, it does not have a pre-owned option, if you look at another charging station such as the Dual Ultra Slim Charger for Xbox Series X by PDP which is probably the actual brand they tried to sell me it also doesn’t have a used option, there is also not a used option for the Play and Charge Kit for Xbox Series X by Power A nor a used option for the Play and Charge Kit for Series X by PDP. HOWEVER, there is still a pre-owned option for the Xbox Series X play and charge Kit by Microsoft at this store. Why don’t they have a pre-owned option for the four other off brands but the pre-owned option for Microsoft? When I buy an item I expect to get that item, it would be nice if they had a pre-owned option for the four other brands because that would be more accurate. Someone is lying. It’s not nice to drive all the way to the store and fall victim to an attempted fraud. Make sure you call beforehand and see if they are actually selling what you want to buy instead of the four other more accurate options. I have a question, if I buy a pre-owned game optimized for the Series X will I get an Xbox 360 game? No I won’t. If I buy a pre-owned Xbox Series X controller will I get a knock off off-brand Xbox 360 controller? No. Someone is lying.

Positive experience: Friendly staff made getting my PS5 easy and effortless so kudos to them for that, only issue I had was that they never called about my preorder and the time they were opening which was earlier had to find out this info from friends and then from calling other gamestop's in El Paso so that's why I'm giving them 4stars other than that was ok experience hope they fix their preorder issues in the future though otherwise that's definitely gonna be loss of sales for their company ‍♀️

Negative experience: Terrible terrible service I waited in line for Black Friday for a red camo contrólele for PS4 the lady was asking everglne what they were getting I told her I was waiting to get a PS4 controller. She didn’t bother to ask what color or to inform me that some colors are not available. Then her and employee were not apologetic whatsoever. If they had been more apologetic I would have bought the other 150 dollars worth of merch I was getting, but they were just very “matter of fact” about the whole thing. I hate game stop and Black Friday was the little glimpse of hope I had for them. Never shopping here or any other game stop again.
