Negative experience: Spoke to a manager named Sabrina and ahe sounded like she did not really want to figure out what happened to the yearly program they have for $25! I renewed it on my last purchase of Oblivion and exchanged a control! which she did not mention! So I want to know where my $25 went and how this specific store can refund it or look into what happened with the yearly credits I should receive!!!! So disappointed!!
Fantastic experience: Keyla, Keyla, Keyla. A true gem to the company. She was soooooo sweet, she took her time with us, she didn’t rush us but most importantly the connection we actually made with her. Her passion for Pokémon shined through her. She answered all of our questions and educated us on the different packages GameStop had to offer regarding Pokémon. By the time we knew it we were sharing family photos with her and Pokémon stories! She was a freaking vibe. She gave us the benefits on renewing our membership & ALL THE PERKS with it! We walked into that GameStop hoping to leave ASAP, once she started helping us….. I wanted nothing more than to stay! Before leaving we even shared a hug! Great job and we will see you again! I promise!️✌️

Negative experience: Crap customer service, the asst. Manager Sabrina is absolutely worthless. Cancelled a pickup order after 2 days when hold is for 3 days. Then all my points and giftcard did not get refunded.

Negative experience: Horrible service, wouldn’t let me return a game a bought less than an hour ago. Made me trade it in and gave me very little back. No wonder game stop as a whole is on its last legs.

Negative experience: staff will argue with you if you don’t want to get pro, and one even said if I didn’t want it I shouldn’t stop at gamestop. Horrible service, and they are part of the reason I buy games digital rather than deal with this nonsense.
Negative experience: Really bad customer service I was trying to buy 3 play station to my 3 kids and the lady told me I can’t that because it was sketchy that’s what her Manager told her nobody deserves to be discriminated when I when there I was with my 1 yr old and I told her I wanted talk to to her manager, and she said that there was no manager, so she called him over the phone and she said that he said it was sketchy I ask her for the number to complain about it and she gave me the wrong number . Nobody deserves to be discriminated.
Negative experience: It's a small shop but has a decent selection of items. Most of the employees are great and very helpful but one was overly aggressive in upselling the GameStop Pro membership. I get that it's probably a metric that is tracked and used in their evaluations. However, watching the same guy belittle and berate customers until they bought the membership or be condescending to those who refused was very off-putting. Even those customers who were politely declining the upsell were still met with harassment and snide remarks. It would have been a five star review had this not occurred. For future purchases if shopping at GameStop I'll make sure to go to a different location and I do recommend the same to others.
Fantastic experience: Game stop is a wonderful place to shop for games and if they don't have a game you want the are very wonderful people that they check to see if the other GameStop's might have them and if they don't they will help you by giving you a place that might have the game your looking for

Negative experience: No point of pre- ordering should’ve told me to have my receipt was never informed wasted my time probably encouraged people to pre order to meet quota cause when I went a lot of people didn’t have receipts
Negative experience: That was attending was kind of rude, she said I HAD TO WAIT.Not to mention i had to wait 30 minutes to just pay for one game. I understand that she was alone but she could've say to me she can open the other register to charge the game.

Fantastic experience: They have a large selection of pre-owned games. Walked in and immediately found what I was looking for and even some really cool older games I didn't even know about. Been playing them ever since. Very clean, organized, and I found the staff to be almost as easy to speak with as say a family member. Everyone was laughing and having a great time. A good spot to take the family and shop around.
Positive experience: This GameStop is amazing and it’s a big building but it’s always dead, like I understand everything is overpriced but what can they do? But I do think they should have more merchandise for games.
Negative experience: All pokemon items, EBT and booster sets are overpriced, GameStop changed just to make $10 more. Will not be returning.

Negative experience: Was there Friday morning and the employee was extremely rude. He assumed I didn't know anything about controllers and started talking down to me. Then when I proceeded to try to grab a controller off the rack he continued to make comments like " well obviously we don't have that one because the box is empty." Please talk to your guys about respect.
Negative experience: Why they open a new game and put it in the shelves? The box get scratches and then they sell it like is a new game and if you are buying for a gift is basically used and damaged they need a better way to display the new games and don't open the new ones! And if you want to return the games they said you open the game and is used! Is not fair

Fantastic experience: I have been a LOYAL Gamestop client since the 90's. I grew up in North Texas and I ONLY buy new games at Gamestop because there a videogame store. They have to suceed. I don't do ONLINE reviews. I have been inside over hundreds of Gamestop locations Worldwide. My brother William pre ordered an Xbox Series X on Day ONE. I know he camped out but there is a reason why. This staff is organized,knowledgeable,honest and professional. They we're so caring to everyone that camped out. I have never seen a store ran this well. Way to go Jorge,Ian and Edgar. This is truly an amazing staff!!!

Negative experience: I bought a brand-new controller recently because mine had broken, and after I purchased this $65 controller about 2 weeks later the controller sticks completely started to drift on their own (I am not aggressive with them). I called back asking for a refund completely denying me help. I guess I am at fault for not purchasing insurance but what annoys me is this controller said "Brand-New" no controller should do this after just 2 weeks use. What happened to the reliable customer service this company used to provide?

Positive experience: Not as amazing of a store as it once was - the GameStop brand has steadily lost its steam over the years. No singular GameStop is at fault for this, nor the company at large. Put simply, the chain has failed to maintain it's appeal to the market. I hope to see them integrating material outside of simply video games, such as tabletop and board games, perhaps even comic books.
