Negative experience: Went with a group of friends for a Pokemon drop and waited hours, was first in line and did it the right way, open hours comes around and the employee at the time lets us know that there is a certain amount available, we said that everyone can get one if everyone just buys one, but I was locked to buy my 2 per person, as soon as I told the employee I will be taking my 2 per person he quickly hits me with an insult, this absolutely the worst way to speak to a customer, I would recommend that this person seriously reconsider his approach his paying customers because this is an absolute disrespect way to greet and attend them.

Fantastic experience: I went for a specific game but wasnt in stock but found another location that had it. Informed me on their pro membership and answered alot of console and other video games I was interest in. Friendly and quick to help with my transaction

Negative experience: Poor selection for just about everything. Out of all the GameStops here in El Paso, this one is by far ran the absolute worst. Save your time and money if you're considering this location and just use Amazon or GameStop at the Basset center. Whoever is in charge of inventory should be fired. Fix your staff and management or this location will be a Spirit of Halloween by 2027. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Negative experience: The in-store only releases are a mess. The amount of items the store posts compared to how many people actually can get an item does not add up. It should be one per person, but maybe it's not in reality. We will avoid this location.

Negative experience: Yesterday I went in to sell my PS4 pro Star wars edition. Some fat guy with glasses named Sebastian was at the front counter took my PlayStation and stated he was going to look at it and give me a price. After about 5 minutes he told me he would be able to give me $20 for my PS4 pro because of a dent on the cover of the PlayStation. I told him it was not a dent it was a burn mark from a blunt. I then told him I had Madden 24 inside the PS4 but he had already packaged it for sale when I wasn't going to sell it. I then told him no thanks for the $20 disrespectful offer. I then took it to Cash America next door the pawn shop and they gave me $55 for it. No questions asked.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience shopping at this location. There were 2 employees and it took them about 15 minutes to simply process ONE return for ONE customer. There were about 7 customers in the store and they seemed overwhelmed. Being that it was a few days before Christmas they should have had better employees manning the store, IMO.

Negative experience: I tried canceling a pre order of a game that’s only been out for a week. Was told “i would need to transfer the money to GameStop card” as an ex employee who worked at GameStop in El Paso till a month ago. This is not a policy that GameStop has unless it’s been on pre order for a long period of time. If the people at GameStop tell you this don’t ask to speak to the manager you should ask for the distract manger jon.

Positive experience: Was told by Raymond the game warranty was free and he'd include it with my purchase. Check the receipt once I get to the car and sure enough, I was charged for it. I understand y'all got numbers to hit but stop sneaking things in by lying or misinforming customers. It's less than two bucks for the warranties on games I purchased but that's still shady Otherwise, this store had a good selection of games. Will be back to check it out again but, I'll pass on any additional "freebies" going forward.

Negative experience: I went in to purchase a PS5 and a game, with what was available in stock I would have paid $650 and had to go elsewhere to get the desire game but the guy decided that I wasn't allow to purchase the PS5 without an active membership, so instead of the hassle of dealing with the inconvenience, I walked over to Walmart, got the PS5 and the desired game both for $600.

Fantastic experience: We are from the northeast and keep neglecting this game stop. But this one is just as good as the others. Got a 50 dollar keyboard for 60% off. Just what my baby boy asked Santa for Christmas . Good sales that day. We will be back for games definitely.

Fantastic experience: Tried to buy a game on release date. Told me if I didn't pre order the game there was no extra copies. This store enforces their customer base to pre order under the threat of not obtaining a copy. Went to media exchange, Walmart and target all of which had copies. Funny a video game store doesn't have extra copies. The game was TLOU2. Used to shop at this store but under new management it's become useless. Edit : the store has gone under new management and is back to its amazing glory of helpfulness and welcoming atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: My son and I were looking for games for his Nintendo Switch and the gentleman at the counter, Isaac, went above and beyond to find those games for him. He called the other stores that had them in stock and had them hold them for him. He picked them up himself and called when he had them available at the Transmountain GameStop. That is great customer service.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. They took our trade in and ordered a ps4 controller. Went back the day it was suppose to be ready for pickup. They don't know where they ordered the remote to, refused to lookup old receipt for a better copy for our records because it would take too long for her even though we physically had a copy in our possession for her to reference. The trade in amount was for $50 we paid extra for expedited shipping and insurance. So we gave them $50 worth of our property and we paid $34.47 with debit. For a total value of $84.47. Was given a 1800 number with a wait time of over an hour because the burden of waiting should be put on the customer. They then locked the door immediately after we left and said the would be out for lunch for an hour on the door sign. Associate never gave option to check gamestop.com which we discovered as an option for ourselves. It took less than 2 minutes to pull up the information that it in fact is suppose to be delivered to the store. Something the associate herself could've done, or offered as an option. Will literally buy anywhere else but gamestop in the future for our gaming systems and games. Continued to wait on 1800 phone to make sure a complaint filed against store.

Negative experience: Chick was freaking out about letting people in. Not all of view it like stopping operations because of store volume. Restaurants n gyms are an acceptable though. Wouldn't take questions from people eating outside, I would have walked too
