Negative experience: Fatal yesterday I went to buy a Nintendo Switch two and when I paid they gave me a box I came happy I got home and it was a used Nintendo switch and they sold it to me at the price of the new I went to return it and they didn't want to return the money in cash now I'm waiting for a refund waiting for the money to fall back into my bank account Bad customer service and by the way they want to sell you used old things at the price of something new they are not fair with prices and second-hand things I think it's something unfair to everyone I don't recommend it

Negative experience: I often come to this GameStop for the most part some of the employees are ok I guess..but there is one this lady is rude and disrespectful and to top it off she’s a bad lier her name is Brianna and she definitely needs to be fired I am surprise she has lasted this long

Negative experience: Terrible customer service by a super rude employee- who was female African American and had a short cut hair cut - did not provide her name. She was disrespectful to a kid in front of us and gave them the middle finger … I’ve come here many times myself and have not had a bad experience myself. This behavior is inexcusable though - I’ll be going to other gamestops in the future- the Rosevelt location is better managed

Negative experience: I started coming here since 2021 or 2022 I was just happy just buying and getting gift cards for Roblox. They trying to tell me to saved up money but I was confused on what they said and over time they started arguing & give me attitude. And stop coming here and until 2023 The man with glasses told me to leave and giving me attitude even though I was trying to get help but I didn't had my phone one and that when I stop coming here. Besides you don't have to be mean at kid or teenagers that why I will stop coming here.
Fantastic experience: Nice set up,pleasant employees who were able to handle my request while I browsed the store.When they have card drops they have a new system of taking people order so they don't have to wait in the cold

Negative experience: My previous experiences have been decent however what happened today is really unfortunate. I looked online and received a quote for $315 for iPhone 15 pro trade in. I went into the store and the clerk told me the same number after evaluating my phone. When she begins cashing me out at the register she said they changed the amount to $266. I could sign up for a free GameStop membership and receive an extra 10 percent. I agreed since it was free and it would increase my total closer to the original amount they offered. My offer went from $266 to $267. One dollar more. I explained that is not ten percent that is only one dollar more. She said that the membership is $25 so I got it for free. It's not free it cost me $25. Pointless argument but the bait and switch once in the store is crazy work. I get it online prices I take with a grain of salt because it's not in person but once I am in the store that shouldn't happen. I get a new phone every year or so and I sell my old one to GameStop like clockwork. I'm going to explore other options moving forward.

Negative experience: This place is a joke, I brought a controller in and the man helped me find the rubber piece that is compatible. I took it home, opened it and it didn’t fit the controller. I took it back and they told me because it’s open I cannot return it But they are the ones that told me it was the right one so of course I’m gonna open it. the manager was there and wouldn’t help simply saying it’s on the receipt. Because everyone reads their receipts. I will never visit this place again. Horrible customer experience. This corporation will be out of business soon, Amazon way too easy to do business with. Shame on me for trying to support a local store
Negative experience: This is by far the most difficult store to get a hold of over the phone. Ive also had employees here give me bogus info regarding the pro membership. Overall it fulfills it purpose but if you are in-between gamestops, travel elsewhere. Update 3 months later: if you can shop elsewhere, do it. This place is dookie in person and over the phone. I came in for a quick purchase and it took so long to get situated I ended up just walking out. Only 1 associate on a release day for multiple categories.
Negative experience: Went to game stop today for a change of a controller and headsets ,by the time they finish their make up story about policy not ale to get a fresh controller, now mind I have warranty on both electronics as soon as I get this used pre own controller I notice some weird ,so I guess there employee are trying to scam people for real ,and Diallo your words didn't satisfy me a bit ...
Positive experience: Aside from the unwelcoming and slightly rude female associate, the male was very pleasant to interact with. He gave nice small talk and was very polite. I just went to pick something up but from what I seen the store was clean and seemed well stocked.

Negative experience: This was my favorite Game Stop until me and my girl went there and they told us that the PS5 pre-order was sold out, and you would think that after you signed the pre-order paper way back in February that guaranteed you a pre-order spot for the PS5 that they would have called you to inform you that the list was open before they sold-out. But they didn't, this is bad business now I have look around for a store that's has some in stock when it releases, if any store have any!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this Gamestop for a long time and have had my fair share of bad employees, but not anymore. This is one of the nicest and friendliest Gamestops around, very helpful and usually has everything I'm looking for. Even the few times I've not found what I was trying to find, the employees were super helpful in trying to find either another store near me or trying to get it shipped to this store. I would absolutely recommend this place.
