Negative experience: Terrible location. They never want to answer the phone. Im literally on the phone now writing this review. I've been on hold for 50 minutes waiting to see if someone would pick the call back up. Horrible service. You can tell the positive reviews of this location are all friends and family. Game Stop should close this location down. These employees are just sitting around in there doing nothing.

Fantastic experience: The store had everything I needed and while I was there I received excellent if not even better customer service from 3 of the most beautiful lady’s excellent energy and proper manners and attitude. I would definitely be recommending and coming back just because of them thanks ladies for taking care of your customers. The the names that makes this visit worth my while are, Domi, Dani, Arleen plan to see you all next week thanks again

Fantastic experience: Was looking for a Nintendo Switch 2 for awhile, and the Brickyard GameStop saved the day. Demetrious was a real hero, and helped me to purchase my new Nintendo; he even helped me save money on a screen protector and a two year extended warranty. Great store, great atmosphere, and great staff. Highly recommend this store in your in the Chicago land area.
Fantastic experience: This location is easily the best city. Everytime I walk in this store they make me feel welcomed and help me with any inquiries I may have. The staff here is absolutely top tier especially Demetrious who always goes above and beyond.
Fantastic experience: Very professional, the store is huge compared to the other gamestops. Very very nice staff, and it's a shame they were broken into a few months ago. I would always recommend going to this one, especially instead of the one on Toughy in Niles.

Negative experience: Cashier was to busy trying to flirt with the ladies at the register then take care of the rest of the customers in line. I put back over $100 worth of material and left the store. Ill go to the Gamestop at the Harlem and Irving Plaza instead.

Easy purchases, very big store to explore but I feel like the Employees are gate keeping most of the products and even hiding stuff to avoid being sold to the public. Heads up for collectors, I would avoid this place as they hide things from you. As a employee has confirmed this to me within that store.

Negative experience: Bought there PRP plan I just used it and I was given joy cons that Clearly weren't cleaned nor working The ZL button is mushy (no maintenance) and my left thumb grinded a bit when I held up and just popped off. the website says that wear and tear doesn't count in my state so why was I given anything at all let alone something so unusable and disgusting was this a joke?

Negative experience: Don't purchase protection plans here they change them after you purchase them making them useless, basically stealing your money. Go elsewhere.
Negative experience: Stolen item Purchased a game online to pick up in store. Was never able to pick it up but someone at the store checked that it was picked up. Went into the store was told by Dominic there was nothing he could do and to call customer service. Customer service was a pain to get a hold of but basically told me someone at the store more than likely stole it and that they need to do an investigation. It could take up to a week to find out what their reply is or I could go into the store and have them look it up. I informed Ernesto at customer service that Dominic told me there wasn't anything he could do. Will edit when I hear back from gamestop
Positive experience: The store overall is ok , they usually have all games ,and everything else related to the store , but the service is kind of słów one person is on the register and the other two just walking around and act like they doing something while people wait in the line for at least 30 min or more

Negative experience: I went there recently. The guy there wasn't able off the top of their head to answer my question. That's ok! I can wait until you can find the answer out for the both of us. No. The kid didn't even try to figure it out. Ummm... Ok? Then I asked what the return policy was in case I jumped into the deep end and bought the accessory. He told me that I should go and find out the answer for myself before buying the accessory. Ok? Thanks for the "help," I guess. I ended up going to the Best Buy at the HIP and they were able to get the answers I was looking for. Shout out to them. Best Buy got the 70 dollar sale because they actually cared.

Positive experience: This is usually a great location. I had some wonderful help getting a game last minute as a Christmas present. However, despite the holiday hours being the same as regular this Monday, they have closed early. I accidentally purchased two copies of the same game, one was at this location. This is my third attempt and I am really frustrated that I can literally see two associates in there that obviously don't care about the business they work for. They decided to close at 8:30 (when I initially got here) or possibly earlier. The holiday hours clearly state that it's supposed to be open until 9pm tonight. I guess I'll try again tomorrow... ? Also, despite the two associates doing nothing in the store, no one answered the phone. I tried calling twice. Super frustrated right now.

Negative experience: Selling consoles only as bundles for 750$/800$ when stand alone console is 500$ and not available anywhere is great business strategy to bump the sales but very inhumane and selfish. That’s why I would rather pay 1000$ to someone reselling them online instead to a greedy corporation.

This manager took the best care of us I have ever experienced at a GameStop location and I am a frequent shopper. I wish I could give him ten stars. Negative experience: Wouldn’t let me purchase something between 10-12 on Ps5 launch day which I get. I explained I couldn’t come back later though and wanted to at least cancel my preorder for Demon’s souls and get it somewhere else. Mind you, there is absolutely no customers in the store and they couldn’t just let me cancel my preorder which would have taken a min at most. This is why ppl don’t like shopping at GS, awful customer service
Positive experience: My Nephew lives this place. There staff is always friendly and helpful.
Negative experience: Walked in to check out some games and buy at least one. There were two employees, and myself in the store. At no point did either rep even acknowledge me or ask if I needed help. Both guys just stood behind the register looking at videos on their phones and laughing. I actually stood there staring at them to see if they noticed me, and nothing. I just walked out and got a game from target across the plaza.
