Negative experience: Came 25 minutes before closing to trade in a few items. Was told that there system was down which I could tell was a lie. Called corporate right then was told no systems were down. They then locked the doors and closed up early.

Fantastic experience: It was good experience they was helpful and I got my game for a good price with 3 games as well they got good deals on ps5

Negative experience: They literally close when they want. If the store says closes at a certain time expect it to be closed 45 minutes prior and locked up

Negative experience: They don't answer phone. Guess they don't like money. Also I paid for 2 games that weren't in stock. They to me be at my hose in 4 days. 4 days turned into 8 days and when it finally come to my door I left the city for work. While at work in a different city I bought the same 2 games as the purpose of buying was to play during traveling. I tried to return on the 16th day when I got home they said no it's 15 day return policy even though I didn't get the game for 8 of those 15 days. Plus they messed up the ship date. So I have 2 sealed games on my shelf with a extra copy of each. Lastly i can't tell you how many times they were like I will give you 2 dollars for your game.

Fantastic experience: *update* The manager reached out to me. After a very good conversation; she was able to locate the game for me and apologized for my trouble. It refreshing to see someone take responsibility for a customer’s experience. I don’t know what’s more incredible GameStop’s ability to constantly disappoint me or me giving them additional chances. While looking for a copy of Pokémon Sword plus Expansion I was told that this store had a copy in stock. I called the store and a gentleman answers and tells me that they do have it in stock. I drive down and then I’m told that they don’t have it. The African American gentleman with braids then attempts to explain to me that had I used the online tool I would’ve been able to check inventory and not waste time. I explained to him the online tool doesn’t work for this specific game hence why I CALLED and drove down to this section of the city. His response is oh then if you want to waste gas driving around that’s your choice. I tell him it’s not a waste of gas had he actually given me accurate information. His response is for me to just buy it digitally.

Positive experience: This is a store you have to watch out for So on Xmas I bought the Xbox for my son. They made up a bundle that made me pay 800 for it. I needed it for Xmas so I paid for it the employee charged me for a 100 dollar gift card then pocketed. it lucky I looked at the receipt had to take an hr ride back up there to get my stuff and he acted like he did not know what happened ....Then yesterday I bought some card had a 5 dollar coupon he used. But he put that I gave him 500 but I only gave him 50 so he had to do the transaction over and I lost out on my 5 dollar coupon..up the stars went back and got it fixed gave me my money back off my next purchase

Negative experience: dont speak to dean: when i came with my ps4 they said they didnt want it and when i said why they he throws it on the floor and breaks it and says after its broken dont go to this gamestop when dean is there

Negative experience: I did a pre order for a playstation remote nobody called me or left me a voicemail, i called the store and the associate didnt even ask for my information, i told him i pre order he replied that what remote was it i gave him my number and he stated that that remote already came out that there is nothing the could do, this is unacceptable you ar e really quick to take peoples money, but to give the merchandise you really unprofessional. They need to do a new hiring, the staff dont know nothing specially Al all the questions i was asking he was answering i dont know. They also need to do better with calling the customers when they pre order. They dont follow up. I will never shop at game stop again to bad toys R us closed down. That was my game spot.

Even if the staff us utilizing all the registers, your in line for a good 15 minutes if you're lucky. Go to the one down Aramingo in Fishtown. That place, you're in and out. No God awful wait time of 15 minutes plus.
