Positive experience: Store has always lacked good service. Enjoyed the wide variety of selection, but the workers were never astute. Last time I was there years ago, made a trade in for cash rocket science. Bring in a mint condition ps4 I didn’t want anymore. The cashier must’ve been new cuz she had no clue. Had to ask her manager how to cut it on, how to assess the pricing, wasn’t familiar with the parts. Just completely ignorant. Even made me think I’d get more money referring to the store credit. When I began saying I need cash. Had to report it online cuz of the bad experience though I ended up getting the money. But it embodied how poorly the store has been ran my whole life. Surprised they lasted until 2024 especially in this society. Will be missed

Negative experience: Horribly ran business, cashier smacked on an apple the whole time she talked to me while the manager stood there doing nothing. After bringing items to trade neither the manager nor the cashier told me the value of my trades until I asked. Then they tried to offer $13 for $70 worth of games. Negative experience: A young man with braids cursed me out today 5/11/22 he had braids and glasses on over a food delivery for no apparent reason ..To be honest he need to be fired for threatening a frequent shopper like myself at this store on 69th street UpperDarby Pa. 5/11/22 His co worker that morning was Laetrice she ordered food that I delivered. I will take up some legal actions with corporate to file a suit against his belligerent act towards me delivering food with my wife standing next to me at the time..My Name Is Aaron I feel threatened because I'm An Asian American with all the Violence in our city towards Asian Americans.

So I left. Now at 69th st GameStop, that cashier was focused, helpful and extremely courteous. This review was soley based on the Springfield Mall location. The 69th st location deserves 5 stars.

Positive experience: They only have one employee while there is a line. I know there is someone in the back watching cameras they need to be up front helping especially when busy.

He shouldn't be working here, we were very nice and he was dry and my boyfriend went to shake his head and he said he dont shake people hands it's dirty and the most disrespectful way. He had a nasty attitude and just very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I didn't have much time to get their pre ordered game but the helpful staff that me in-and-out as quickly as they could say they me a great deal it's on getting me to my other destinations without any problem nothing beats friendly people who will help you everywhere you make out that's the only way I can explain the staff at this particular location of gamestop it's a little farther away from where I now live but it's still worth a trip

Positive experience: There isn't much reason to use GameStop these days; that being said, this location is fine. Not great, not terrible, but fine. The staff I encountered today weren't too bad, but I think they took their training a bit too literally, as they kept trying to recommend me things I clearly stated I was not interested in. The location is fine. On a good day, 69th Street is an alright place to be, and the store is fairly clean. Nothing spectacular about it, though. The store is rather small, however, which limits how much they can put on the shelves. Keep that in mind. Overall, it was probably the most average experience I've had at a GameStop.

Positive experience: I had to purchase a PS3 controller. I realize that this is a used controller, however, I would have expected to have been cleaned a lot better. This controller was grimy on the outside with lots of dirt and food stains. I used a Lysol wipe to clean it up on the outside. The price of the controller was higher than what was on the website which didn't make me very happy. Also, the clerks inside the store were not very pleasant. They all seemed very sour. You could do a lot better if you want people to actually come to your store more often.

Fantastic experience: The gentalmen that work here are amazing! I went there (they were the 4th game stop I went to because the other 3 couldn’t help me) and I got there maybe 5 minutes before they closed so the door was locked. They told me they were closed but the manager was nice enough to let me in. The 3 gentalmen that night (they wrote their names down for me and I still forget them) went above and beyond customer service! I was a manager at a GNC for 5 years so I know what Customer service is supposed to be about and these men exceeded it! Thank you for putting up with me and doing everything you could to get me what I needed that night! You guys were truly so helpful and amazing!
