Negative experience: Very sketchy way they handle football card release they say it’s not available online yet someone had an order ready for pick up and on top of that there’s no limit for scalpers seeing that they had 2 for pick up that were pulled out of the bottom counter and he took the 2 remaining mega boxes on the counter taking 4 mega boxes of the topps chrome football and they couldn’t give me an explanation as how they were able to reserve them

Negative experience: Literally just walked in and back out , 2 workers 1 customer in store.. While no one greeted me . the boy worker proceeded to get behind the register ( still without saying anything ) ,, only staring at me as I walked in

Fantastic experience: This GameStop is a 10/10. We were trading in some old consoles, some of which were having battery errors booting up, and Jordyn helped us for around 2 hours while they rebooted (our Switch was dead from months of no charge). He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire experience. He worked until the store had to close to make sure we made it out with our new console and our items successfully traded. Others would be frustrated with that experience, but employees like Jordyn make all the difference in what could be a stressful situation, turning moments like this into a easy-going situation instead. Amazing store and amazing employees!

Negative experience: We went to this location, because I work over night and it is one of the few earlier opening gamestops near us. I brought my son for the most recent Pokemon release. We got there at roughly 7:15, and waited since the stock at this location was low. We were number 2-3 in line with only one person there before us. I have my own pro membership and my son had his own pro membership with his own money. Multiple people pulled up and talked with myself and the guy that was first. After seeing that there was a 2 per member limit and 3 of us were there these people left to look elsewhere. So around 9:30 people start showing up left and right and after discussing they decide to stay for the less desirable release we had decided not to get. So then comes the issue, the employee shows up and comes outside to hand out numbers for order, after discussing that we both had memberships for this purpose and had been waiting the employee then tells us we can only use one membership because it wasn’t fair to the people behind us. Granted they shows up 3 hours later and this is the only way we can ever find Pokemon at close to msrp, honestly idgaf if they didn’t get any in this situation. My son (8) then got visibly upset because this is one of the things he looks forward to, ripping packs with me on the hunt for cool cards. So I asked if this was policy or her preference and she gave no answer. We ended up stopping at another GameStop close by, because at this point I was furious. The woman at this store happened to have 2 packs left and let us purchase them both and then told me that no where does it say if he has his own membership and money we can’t both purchase a limited item and that the employee at this store just decided to do that themselves. After this won’t be coming back here, but awesome job to the GameStop on Jefferson Ave. your employee rocks and she gave us a pack with a cool charizard!

Another store said they had the item I needed for my son’s gift, but they didn’t — thankfully, this location came through. The staff was kind, quick to help, and made sure I got exactly what I needed without any hassle. It turned what could’ve been a stressful situation into an easy one. Great service, and my son was thrilled!

Positive experience: This location has lost some of its spark after the recent turnover of staff , they are trying but no one can replace Zach. They are doing their part in pokemon scalping by limiting the purchase of product. The only complaint I have is the above market pricing for a retail store when it comes to such thing as 27.99 booster bundle being sold for 39.99. That is quite the upcharge from the retail price. The other thing is they no longer offer a discount for veterans, they took it away the discount which was disappointing but the active duty discount is still in place I believe.

Fantastic experience: Shae was awesome. Went in to trade some random games and came out feeling confident in myself. He has a very uplifting and caring spirit. The way he explained his Switch 2 launch night plans was incredible. He has integrity for his work place and takes it seriously, and still manages to keep everything fun. Gamestop, look to this guy to give a raise or a promotion! As a former manager myself of a fast food restaurant, I can say this is the type of person I would want as an employee and manager. I will for sure be visiting again!

From the moment I walked in, he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about gaming. I was looking into PlayStation 5 controllers, and Javon provided me with detailed information about the DualSense Wireless Controller – Chroma Teal and the DualSense Wireless Controller – Chroma Indigo, explaining their features and differences. Not only that, but he also kept me informed about upcoming drops, which was a great bonus! What stood out the most was his expert advice on upgrading my gaming experience. He took the time to understand my needs and successfully convinced me to purchase a PlayStation Portal, which I hadn’t even considered before. Negative experience: Not happy. The store can't even bother to change their hours on Google. I had to submit to change it myself after I was highly disappointed while trying to pay off a pre-order tonight.
Positive experience: I’ve been to this location at least 25 times and all of my experiences have been pleasant but now I just went to try to buy the new Pokémon 151 ultra premium collection, and the associate claims that the system is down and he cannot sell me the product nor let me trade in a game I bought for my wife four days ago. I witnessed this associate let a family trade in a Nintendo switch. The associate claims he will call me back when the system is working but I doubt it if he does, I will change my review.

Positive experience: My experience was alright and it may have just been a simple misunderstanding. However I came in about my PS4 overheating and wanting to exchange it for a new one. Simple task really, I enjoy gaming regularly and didn't want to damage any of my equipment with this hot PlayStation. I don't know if it's because they heard it was a Limited Edition Destiny PS4 and, me eager to get right back to my normal gaming routine as a chance to slide this gross beat up generic version of one into my possession and out of there's. I wasn't given a chance to look at the condition of the PS4 before the gentleman behind the counter slid it away from me and taped it up. Now normally not seeing the condition would've been fine because I've only been to this GameStop and it's neighbor in Peninsula town centre the for as long as I can remember so, I have built what I felt was a trusting relationship. I was sadly mistaken it seems because, I walked out of there with a disgusting stained PlayStation that looked like the bottom rubber foot piece was either glued back on or surrounded by nasty crud. I myself kept my Playstation very clean and virtually scratch free. Now when I found out how poor of a condition this PlayStation was in I immediately not even 10-15 minutes later came back and was extremely upset trying to keep my cool where I was then told that I could not have my playstation back nor could I have that specific one shipped out and fixed then sent back to me. It was considered defective and they could no longer help me. I wouldn't budge and eventually I got my PlayStation back but did not, get my refund for the warranty I just renewed on the PlayStation I almost got swindled into taking home with me. I'll give them credit for trying to work with me at the end but that PlayStation should've never made it out the door in my hands like that. Beat up sure; patches of nasty built up crud or a potentially tampered with PlayStation no way. I came in at about 6-7pm on December 28th and I probably won't be coming back to this location because that was frankly disgusting. Oh and a sidebar the cashier even agreed with me that he would've also been upset if he saw the PlayStation in that condition but still hardly helped me. They tried with no real success and left me very disappointed.

Negative experience: This post isn't towards the store but I can't figure out how to make an online complent. I order a controller on December 14, 2020. On December 20, 2020 I received an email letting me know my package will be delivered on December 22,2020. I waited all day nothing. I called game stop customer service and they insure me I would have it by December 24,2020. Well here it is December 29, 2020 and no controller. I have called customer services and they say UPS can't find my address. I called UPS they send it was transfered to USPS. All I want is my package. The took my money but don't have any information on where my package is actually at.
