Negative experience: Aniyah talked me into the insurance coverage for an xbox controller. She stated that if for any reason I needed to bring the controller in and exchange it that if a new one was purchased it would get replaced with a new one. As it happens this is not the truth, gamestop policy is to replace it with a used one. Elijah was awesome through out this process, other than his ear piece was to loud and i could hear his manager not being polite. So yes it does suck and the fact that this was the way you handled it is why I escalated this to the corporate level. Update. Cherry on top is the used controller is broken. The L3 button doesnt work. Yall got saved by the customer based and repaid them by treating them like trash.

Negative experience: ⭐ 1-Star Review I recently had one of the worst retail experiences I’ve ever had between two GameStop locations, and I feel compelled to share what happened. I traded in three games and received $10.50 in store credit. I then purchased two games — one for $34.99 and another for $14.99 — using my own money. However, I was sold the wrong game for my console. When I went back to the first store, an employee named Shane admitted the mistake and directed me to another GameStop to exchange it. At the second store, things got worse. While trying to do the exchange, I witnessed a strong-arm theft — someone near me ripped something off the wall and ran out. This was extremely disturbing, and I felt unsafe and shaken. An employee named Jack was on shift, cursing and acting unprofessionally toward customers during the incident. Amid all this chaos, he gave me the $17 difference back for the correct game. Unfortunately, the game I was given was damaged — it had visible scratches, a watermark, and no insert — and it wouldn’t even work in my console. When I went back again (yes, again), Shane was now at the second store. I tried to return the damaged game and told him how upset and unsafe I felt during the earlier theft incident. Instead of being understanding or helpful, he dismissed my concerns and said he couldn’t process my return. Even though this all happened within one day, I was told I’d only get store credit instead of a refund — even though I originally paid in cash. This whole ordeal involved: • Two different GameStop locations • Three separate trips • A faulty product • Unprofessional employees • And a disturbing in-store theft I’ve been left with no working game, wasted time and gas, and a lingering feeling of being disregarded and unsafe in your stores. I’m still waiting for a proper refund and a response from corporate. GameStop — your return policy, customer service, and in-store safety protocols need serious attention.

He told me to come to the store and I explained it further more , he looked up my account, plugged in my kids PS5 controller and he came up with a Solution. I didn’t feel rushed at all , Zach Please continue to do what you do, continue to smile and provide amazing customer service. It’s rare to find genuine & kind people especially in customer service. Not only did you make me happy but you made my kids happy Due to my protection plan I was able to get a new Controller for them. You’re awesome man!! Keep it you & I’ll definitely be back to see you Zach. Thanks once more❤️

Fantastic experience: I went in just to kill some time and left with a perfect game! The staff are so friendly and make sure to help everyone out. They are also so very knowledgeable, I mentioned my system and they were able to chat with me about different games and upcoming releases. Will definitely be going again!
Negative experience: Store to be open at 11am. Been standing outside since 10:45 and it's now 11:10 and they are still closed. What's the point of saying you're open and yet you're closed. No excuse

Positive experience: I hated parking for their place. I had order something online and the kid told me that it wasn't the store. But he quickly figured it out and sent me on my way. The toys were great here but more expensive then you can get online I think. But employees were nice, the store was clean, shaving customers. And sell stock. The parking is the real pain
Negative experience: Honestly I've been in the area for all my life. This store use to be real friendly and helpful all the time. The past few times I've been in or attempted to go have been awful. Store manager is questionable, staff is rude with customers at times.

Negative experience: WORST Gamestop I have ever been to. They had 1 employee working who was brand new. Took 45 minutes to help 2 people in front of me, was on his personal cell phone answering calls, and texting. When I got to the counter with the Ps4 controller box I was holding for 45 minutes in line, he THEN decided to tell me they had ZERO in stock. When he clearly saw me standing there holding it and waiting THAT LONG. Terrible experience.. this establishment needs better management.

Negative experience: Ehh they're ok but i was told that in order to trade in my perfectly working 360 slim with 250gb on it i needed to have a Wireless charger with a battery pack. That not cool considering a have 3 perfect condition wired controllers with the system
Negative experience: This is an alright GameStop, the staff gave me a hassle over buying a game intended for persons over the age of 18 to give to my 17 year old brother. I am well over 18 and they would not let me purchase the game.
