Negative experience: This guy seemed like he didnt want to do his job. I asked him if they got a game and he didnt even check he just said “no”. He ignored me and gave me attitude! Never coming back!

Fantastic experience: Omar and Eric literally went above and beyond to help me today! I wish I could give 500 stars! To make a long story short, GameStop in Gloucester is trash! They sold me the wrong item before xmas for my son and we didn't realize til xmas morning and my son was so sad. They treated me awful and never gave an apology upon returning it and ordering the correct item and then paying $10 more to make it $130 in total. A week later, received the item ordered and on the shipping label it said what I ordered and come to find out it was the same wrong item AGAIN! The call center is horrible and after spending 2 hours on the phone with them and not getting anywhere, was told I had to pay to ship back. Came to the mall today to shop and went in for advice. Not only were they very professional and knowledgeable, they helped me RETURN my item here and FINALLY get what I've been trying to get since before xmas. Please corporate listen to me and give these men a RAISE! I will now only come to this gamestop and live over an hour away bc it's worth the drive! We love ya'll!

Fantastic experience: The guy working the counter was super nice, and super friendly. He even gave me a left over steel book someone had left, because he heard I collect them. I’m super happy! And will DEFINITELY come back soon!

Negative experience: Purchase a new game at this store for my son. His mom told me that she was buying a new ps5 console. He just opened his gift 12/28 games where Purchase 12/10. Just found out she purchased the digital edition, so the games I purchased was disks they said 5 days returned policy.

Fantastic experience: I have always received very pleasant and friendly customer service experience every time I come in.

Negative experience: Tried to return a headset for a credit. 9 days old. The manager literally told me he wouldn't take it because it's too much trouble. I had no issue returning it at another famestop around the corner. Just go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Always clean and very well stocked

Negative experience: Only thing to say if you don't want limited type of cheep collectables that's overpriced or own only the 3 most modern type of gaming machine (no computer items at all) even then it's very limited.

Negative experience: Selection is very limited only modern games system, and games and starting to take the look of a sports store less and less of a game store only select merchandise. Not a wide variety.

Negative experience: I was so disappointed that on Christmas morning two out of three games I bought for my boys didn’t even have the disks in them.

Negative experience: Overall an ok place to visit. What I didn’t like or appreciate I should say, is that when I made a big purchase. The store associate Timothy said I couldn’t occur any points for my purchase for whatever reason. I knew that that information was wrong. Upon speaking with the store manager John he undoubtedly vouched for his associate, as he should. still I felt that my concern was a burden and frustration to him and he did not want to make me feel better about feeling like I got scammed out of points.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service went in to buy story of seasons pioneer of olive town and animal crossing socks a manager his name is Jon rung me up for a different game he just assumed that I wanted animal crossing game and didn’t tell me they didn’t have the game I wanted I went back the next day to get a refund and he argued about it with me for about 10 minutes and then I finally got my refund tax included

Negative experience: Not open to look around but just pick up. When they tried to use the Slogan "We are essential" to stay open...they were closed. Now they are slightly open for pickup they don't want to open....makes no sense!!!

Fantastic experience: For the up and coming New Switch upgrade promotion with GameStop I was curious on how the process works, and what I could do to secure a new system. I called into this GameStop and Josh and Vince, helped me out with any questions I threw at them. I am looking forward see them to get my new switch. I got some amazing over the phone service! It is definitely hard to come by now a days. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: This GameStop at Patrick Henry Mall in Newport News is wonderful! My eight year old son wanted to buy a used XBox to play WWE on and all the staff went out of their way to help him pick the right console for him and the right WWE game for his age. Top notch!
