Negative experience: I bought an Xbox elite controller series 2 yesterday from this location. I bought it preowned so I asked what I could do in the event the controller doesn’t work, I was instructed to come back to exchange it. Today I go back to the store, an hour after they open, and there’s a “ be back, at lunch “ note on the door. They were gone for nearly an hour. So finally someone comes to the store, and I go in to get assistance with the controller. The lady tells me there’s nothing she can do to help me and rushed me out the store. I spent over $100 bucks yesterday and to not be taken care of for whatever reason I think is extremely unfair. I will not be coming back to this GameStop.

Negative experience: I WOULDNT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY A USED PS4 or PS5 FROM THIS LOCATION, THEY SOLD ME A 1TB PS4 THAT HAS NON-STOP BEEN NOTHING BUT TROUBLE SINCE DAY ONE THAT IVE BOUGHT IT WHICH WAS IN JUNE 2023 IT HAS BEEN TELLING GIVING ME A CORRUPTED DATA ERROR ON EVERY GAME THAT I TRY TO PLAY, I HAVE WENT AS FAR AS DELETING THE DATA FROM MY STORAGE ND REDOWNLOADING GANES TO UPDATING THE SYSTEM SOFTWARE ND REBUILDING THE DATA BASE ND STILL UNTIL THIS DAY IT IS GIVING ME THISE PROBLEMS.THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT SELLING THE PRODUCT ND NOT THE CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION.
Negative experience: Whoever the blonde, white girl is that works at the newmarket location is extremely rude. Very unprofessional. If you don't want to be at work, call out. Don't take your attitude out on customers.
Positive experience: Prices are getting to high. Most clearance items are over a year or two old. Customer service was on point. Clean and stock.

Negative experience: We actually had to report the worker who was there she was rude to my husband he called me bc she had frustrated him so he went to the car an I handle it professionally of course. Other then that we've never had a problem with the workers

Negative experience: Avoid this GameStop at all costs. Where do I start.. It regularly opens late and closes early. The girl at the counter is absolutely terrible at customer service and juggling customers. I’ve been in there twice in the last six months and both times she was the only one working in the store. The first time I was in there she couldn’t figure out how to take my PlayStation 4 in as a trade-in and then proceeded to get into an argument with me. I took it to the store in Cunningham Dr and they quickly helped me with no issues at all so I’m not sure exactly what her issue was. While I was in there she literally turned away four customers telling him that she couldn’t help them . She didn’t even try to answer them. She just told them to go away basically because she was frustrated with my transaction. The next time I went in there was a few days ago to pick up Horizon. I was really surprised to see that she was still there. At any rate I had a gift card which she did not know how to use and while I was in there she dropped the customer that she was helping when I entered the store to help me for some reason. This made me very uncomfortable and I kept telling her to please help the guy ahead of me. She refused. Knowing my previous encounter with this person, I basically just paid cash instead of using my card for the game because I was very uncomfortable waiting for the gentleman that she had put me in front of and I was confident she was not going to be able to figure out how to accept a gift card. At any rate go to any other GameStop except for this one because you will be frustrated by the time you leave. The one on Cunningham Dr is so much better and those guys are pros. Whoever runs this place is losing alot of business because of this employee. Don’t believe me? Just secret shop her and you will quickly realize how incompetent she is.
Fantastic experience: 100% customer satisfaction! Rebecca was very helpful and even went out of her way to make sure that all of my girlfriends data was saved and transferred. That was a relief as she just completed the story line in her new game. Thank you again and I will be returning to this store!
Fantastic experience: This place helped me tremendously the 2 people at the counter were nice and courteous And they took their time explaining to me about a game called Justice 2022 for playstation for playstation 4 I have never played a video game before so there was a lot of explaining to do and these 2 At the counter got it to a tee. Thanks to them my 6 year old has the game he wants and the special controllers needed to play it. (I would have missed that one altogether)

Negative experience: I am a GameStop regular. While I live in Williamsburg and frequent the two GameStop locations there, I sometimes visit this GameStop because my wife works down the street. Unfortunately I don’t receive the typical great service here that I do at my home GameStop. The employees are rude, condescending, and dismissive. I feel like I am being pressured into pre orders and purchasing warranties for my game every time I make a purchase. Items are frequently mispriced, but management will not honor prices for items as marked. This bad service culture is mirrored by the staff due to their manager, who is just downright nasty with customers. He has been rude to me and other customers during my visits, and acts like asking him a simple question is a huge burden to him. So much for customer service! It’s a shame that this GameStop fails, where so many others succeed. With service like this, I might as well just go to Amazon or another online retailer.

Will not be going back to this GameStop especially when there are ones closer, friendlier and with better selection.
