Fantastic experience: The staff here are the most helpful group of individuals. My son and I started to master set 151 at a recent show, have been in store 5 times since and every time I have the best experience. The staff go above and beyond everytime and prices here aren’t going to break the bank!

Negative experience: Called this morning to confirm stock and price of One Piece EB-03 Booster Boxes. Come to find out later in the afternoon, prices had be increased by almost $100, and is way more expensive than TCGPLAYER. Other local stores have them for fair prices, will not be shopping here again for any product.

Negative experience: Be careful of this gamestore, while their selection is good and they always seem to have product ,their prices are generally worse than scalpers prices even when receiving product at or below MSRP from a distributor. The pricing of new items like ascended heroes is actually higher than scalper prices you would find on Facebook marketplace or elsewhere. Staff is nice enough and the venue is clean, also their trade days are a positive , but their gouging of their own community doesn't really let me rate this any higher.

Recently I didnt recognize a charge on my card from there st. pete store, when I brought the issue up they did a great job of assisting me in figuring out the issue( I purchased in tampa lol). Love m&m I definitely will be back for more table top and collectibles needs.

Positive experience: James, and most of the staff are great, but this is the 4th time in the last 5 times I have been to the store, that they had no stock out due to doing an event over the weekend. As a customer, if the store is open, I shouldn’t have to assume that a show went on over the weekend. This store has multiple locations and should have plenty of stock to be able to keep the store front running while still being able to do these shows. To be told, oh come back later in the week when I do not have a flexible schedule is not cool and I will most likely have to take my business elsewhere. I normally go to this store due to its close proximity to my work, but I do not live in the area. I specifically drove to the store today for my birthday even though I was off work because I do like the shop, even though I have other LGS’s closer, but to have this happen today was very upsetting. It’s just a regular thing at this point now and it’s unfortunate.

Fantastic experience: This place is the greatest gaming center around. Sunday there’s Magic The Gathering games, the staff is very knowledgeable about all the games they have. The walls are lined with video games and machies of all types. Check out the photos for a virtual visit. The rest of the shop is the atmosphere. From basic gaming needs to advanced premium single cards from MTG, you can see the shop is full of things you will want to play and games with other players in a safe controlled shop. I’d recommend a visit with your friends and favorite gamers to see the wide selection and quality of their shop. Voted online as the best MTG shop around. I believe it. The helpful staff guided me through a great visit and knew how to talk the talk. I traded, I bought, I’m definitely going to visit again. They have cold drinks to quench your gaming thirst. Come visit the best MTG shop in town you will love it, I do.

Fantastic experience: Nice atmosphere, I got exactly what I wanted out of going here, and then some.

Negative experience: I came to this place for the first time to buy some retro games and Pokémon cards. They had a pile of Pokémon cards—mostly valued at less than $10 each—that I assumed was open to the public to look through and pick from. I assumed it was the same as any other store that has piles of items like records, CDs, video games, or posters, where people can browse and pick things up. One of the employees snapped at me and said that people have been stealing those cards and that he has been having issues with people going through them. First of all, there is no need to snap at your customers over them looking at a pile of $5-$10 Pokémon cards that’s on the display case. Second, if you’re constantly running into this issue of people assuming they can go through those cards, then maybe your system is flawed. Keep those cards somewhere out of reach of the public, like every other business does, or properly mark them as “do not touch.” I will give him credit for apologizing for “snapping” at me after his initial emotional outburst. The other employee was pretty chill and seemed unbothered. My nephew and I were looking forward to buying retro games but we had to leave due to one employee’s unprofessional behavior.

If you’re into One Piece or any TCGs, this is definitely one the places to be in Tampa! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone here to buy MTG cards and sleeves to build new decks and the workers are very informed towards the games they promote and the cards they are selling as well as being polite and understanding towards what you need. I spent a pretty penny on a card here that would’ve been worth prices that are equivalent to highway robbery at other places too.

Fantastic experience: Ask for James if you’re dead set on completing a binder with your favorite card, every single visit he would check to see whether that specific card is in stock. Very down to earth and easy to talk to. Offered great deals too. Without him my Giratina collection would never have been successful!

Positive experience: used to hold mtg events, and be a cool card store. not anymore, events are held at other locations, too busy doing trade shows. Now more about sports cards and memorabilia. Still has a cool video game collection I guess. no longer my lgs.

I’ve bought multiple consoles as gifts and my friends and family love them. I was looking for Post Malone cards and Alex kept me in mind and called me the second he made the trade. Customer for life!

Negative experience: Went to this store recently and from what I could tell the more $$$ cards seem to be on market value, but the less expensive $1-$5 cards were priced about 3x over market value. They had 2 cards priced at $4 each… while market is at around $1 and some change. I told them I’ll do $3 for them both, WHICH IS MARKET. The workers told me no, and that if I went to other stores like GameStop, they would laugh in my face, and that no one would do 60% off a card. These workers don’t even look up current market prices for their cards like a normal card shop would. After passing up on those cards, the worker persisted on explaining why he wouldn’t accept my offer by saying that he doesn’t remember how much the card was bought for in the past and that he needs to make sure he’s making a profit off the card. This shop is a joke, card prices fluctuate, but I guess they don’t take that into consideration on their behalf. He ended the one sided conversation by telling me that “if you don’t buy the card, a kid will, and that matters most to me”. Okay. I’m sure a kid and parent will buy these overpriced cards unknowingly. So altruistic of you. Better off going to Oblivion Games on W Waters for market priced cards and workers with basic common knowledge.

Negative experience: Just go to UNLIMITED VIDEO GAMES or BONFIRE GAMES. The employees here can be really passive aggressive and strange... Prices are kinda hiked more than most places as well. IV been going here on and off for a while and I'm definitely done.

Fantastic experience: Quickly becoming one of the premier hobby stores in Tampa, with options for table top and video games at their monthly trade meets

Negative experience: Stopped by this afternoon to sell some magic cards. 2 guys were working. one of them priced my cards, between talking to customers that the second guy wouldn’t stop mopping to help. After about an hour the guy had to call his boss to see what he could spend. I was then offered $350 for about $800 worth of stuff. When I said “no way”, the mop guy decided to jump in and give me attitude asking how much I wanted, and what cards were actually worth anything. He wasn’t involved at all in the process but decided he should get involved now. At this point both guys are giving me a hard time. The first guy tried to tell me he was basically paying full value on the high end cards, which is nice and all but that means he’s paying nothing for the rest. Owner needs to let his employees do their job without making them call for approval, and the mop guy is a loose cannon. I won’t return and will be sure to tell others. Included is market price on just some of the magic an hour after the interaction.

Fantastic experience: My first visit I was taken care of by an incredibly friendly staff and was able to find what I was looking for complete w a strategy guide for my wife, as well as some new grips for my elite controller which worked out perfect! The last ones I bought for myself were loose and these are spot on it seems so far. If you’re interested in any TCG (Magic, Pokémon, etc) they seem to have a crazy selection! I’m not personally a collector but I think it’s awesome they have such a wide range of used / new options for games, TCG, and collectibles. Tables for games as well check w establishment for any events or tournaments.

Fantastic experience: Very cool spot, solid retro game selection and had a big space for TCG tables. Pricing was better for TCG stuff than video games imo but nothing was particularly unreasonable. Also had some pretty rare games in good shape. Definitely worth a visit, and I know lots of people have good things to say about M&M's other locations as well.

Fantastic experience: I don’t collect cards I usually always come for games cause I collect retro. However since the release of the final fantasy magic cards I was super interested to start a new hobby. Alex was the man he helped definitely with all my questions from which sleeved which cases I should buy( I got the Cadillac of cases) and just all around informative I had so many questions and he was as chill as can be. Definitely made stoked for this new journey of cards in the future I’ll definitely be back just cause he made feel good about what I was purchasing like he’s one of the bros. Positive experience: I’ve came here a few times and twice now the employees have been very cold towards myself and my boyfriend. The last time I was in, I wasn’t even greeted. Which normally it wouldn’t be a big deal but we were the only ones in there. Once I went to check out the employee sighed that he had to get up from the table and check me out. Every time I’ve been here I’ve found that the employees are quite dismissive of me and talk down to me which I haven’t noticed with other male customers present. I enjoy their vendor events but make sure to register ahead of time or you’ll have to wait in line. Hopefully the next time I come in the employees are a little nicer to female customers.

Fantastic experience: I was visiting, looking to get into the TCG - One Piece. My man Dee really hooked me up. Very approachable, respectful, & knowledgeable. He was like a gaming encyclopedia. Honestly, to the point where I’d trust his opinion over the forms and “googling” I had previously poured over. Thanks for the refreshing experience I’ll be back soon!
