Negative experience: Horrible costumer service. Called all day yesterday, no answer. Called 1 minute before they opened, no answer because “they weren’t open yet” , so they must have been super busy already! As if 1 minute is really a difference... I’m giving this review because how I was spoken to when someone finally answered the phone, he was not professional whatsoever. Clearly doesn’t want business , so why did you guys hire him? Barley Answers questions, didn’t know how to speak to customers. Do you really want this guy employed? On this date 5/7/26 , whoever is on staff, preferably the one who answers the phone or who is behind the desk, this won’t be the only complaint, might as well find another job because they will fire you! If there is no consequence from GameStop, hopefully this specific location shuts down! Always rude behavior and horrible service. Never going to game stop again. Especially this location! Mark this review, the location won’t last for much longer because of this nonsense! Next time speak as if you want to sell a product to a customer, to me it seemed like you hated your life and didn’t want to work at all. Yikes! That doesn’t look too good for GameStop!

Negative experience: Normally I wouldn’t write a review. People don’t read them and they aren’t always accurate to what happened. I’m using a fake Google account to post this and won’t come back to this posting. I had a terrible experience and need people to know. Long story, sorry. Most of the employees at the gamestops I frequent are great. They care about what they’re doing and they care how they treat people. I went into this GameStop a few days ago, and had the nastiest experience that I ever have had. The manager Brianna (I think that’s how it was spelled) was very much talking back to customers in a very rude manner. Telling them that even though the prices on the items say one thing, they’re actually higher prices and that they could pay or leave. That was actually terrible. And then today, I came in to the one across the street to get some things, and she’s being super aggressive physically and verbally to another employee here. I didn’t comment on what happened because it’s not my place, but this is not the first I’ve seen from this lady, and I know it won’t be the last. This is not the kind of attitude customer should see and hear, nevertheless any employee. Someone needs to take her job away from her. This isn’t okay, and as it’s happened two times that I have personally seen, I know it has happened before to multiple other customers and employees. Remove her from her job, she is not capable of speaking to people in a calm manner, as is evident by her past behavior. I genuinely hope people see this.
Negative experience: ⚠️ SCAM ALERT ⚠️ I would NOT recommend this store, Never come here. They overcharge and from my view point they use dirty sales tricks. Today, I went to buy Pokémon keychains for my 6-year-old son who collects them. There was a sign that said “Buy 2, Get 1 Free”. Only 4 keychains were left; one was a duplicate. My son picked the three unique ones. At checkout they suddenly said one keychain “doesn’t qualify”—the exact same type, label, price, size, just a different character (a Snorlax). The employee mumbled something, then hid in the back. Super shady. They forced us to take the duplicate it if we wanted the others two. Worse: every keychain was clearly labeled $10.99, but they charged $12.99 each. When I pointed it out, the cashier shrugged and said, “Sorry, that’s not the price.” (Photo attached—you can see the $10.99 sticker plain as day.) My son cried the whole way home because he didn’t get the Snorlax he saw and had in his hands before this happened. Steer clear of this place!

Fantastic experience: I went there as they first opened. Charles was there, and he was very nice and helpful. Not too annoying or anything,but just enough to make me feel comfortable without pressure. I bought a couple things there Charles was a good employee was my impression. I recommend this store.

Negative experience: Terrible experience today at GameStop. I brought all five of my kids and waited in line for over an hour early in the morning to buy Pokémon cards, only to be told that I was the only one allowed to purchase them. The employee said that for my kids to get cards themselves, they would either need to be 18 years old or have their own GameStop accounts — and apparently also show up alone? I asked for clarification and got conflicting answers: Do they need to be adults? Do they need to be there by themselves? Or do they just need an account? The response I got was that they need to be adults with accounts. That makes no sense. These are kids’ cards. What kind of policy punishes families for showing up together? We woke up early, waited in line, and followed the rules — only to be told we couldn’t get the cards we came for because my children weren’t technically “individual adult customers.” Extremely disappointed. GameStop should make their policies clearer, and frankly, they should use a little common sense.

Negative experience: When to the store to sell two games and….. Today’s (08/12/24 @4:25pm) employee seemed to have a very bad attitude that even my 13 year old stepson noticed it. If you don’t consider yourself a people’s person, you just can’t work in customer service. Period!

Negative experience: The cashier at this location was acting very suspiciously. He was socializing with a man who was hanging out on the side of the queue, and each time a different shopper checked out the cashier would collect this man’s email information so that HE could receive points off the transactions of other customers (including myself) Not to mention the cashier hardly acknowledged me while ringing my items, all the while he was just boasting to the man of what they were doing. It was very unprofessional and I’m going to assume it’s something not approved of by GameStop so I’m writing this in an effort to report him (if it is, I have to say that’s a pretty low bar to meet an e-mail quota.)

Fantastic experience: Very clean and organized GameStop! Huge selection on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch products along with a smaller PC selection of products. They also have a few clearance areas with merchandise which was very cool to see. Staff were friendly and make great conversation while we checked out and browsed the store. Would go again.
Fantastic experience: I've been a gamer since ColecoVision so Ive played a lot of video games and have been to a lot of gaming stores. I am very happy with the selection of games and consoles that Gamestop has to offer. I really appreciate their selection of pre-owned games and refurbished electronics. I have the Pro Rewards card which allows me to save money every month. Love it!

Fantastic experience: Possibly the best Gamestop I have frequented, certainly better than the one by my old house. They have a great variety of themed goodies for gamers, geeks and pop culture fans. Shirts, figures, etc. The stock of games is good, and the prices decent. Store is well-kept and easy to look around. All the staff I have interacted with are friendly and helpful. Some even have good knowledge of the gaming industry at large and can help with questions. I have done multiple trade-ins and it has always been smooth. They will also let you know about upcoming releases or stock, and look up other stores if they do not have what you want. Great service, good products, friendly staff.

Positive experience: Please stop Closing your doors earlier than the time stated and chosen by your corporate office, every other store in the mall manages to follow it's open and closing, why does this game stop fail at it? They all stay open right down to the minute that they say they close but you guys don't. If there's a corporate reading this please tell whoever is closing the store early to knock it off and be a big boy this daily extra 10 minutes is supposed to be open. then I drove a distance to get here and I just made it 10 minutes before the way I see it false store info cost me money.

Fantastic experience: I brought a return for a system I bought at the GameStop across the street. I had a terrible experience at the GameStop, but had a wonderful experience here & I always have. Julie was awesome! She totally listened to me, got me to renew my PowerUp Rewards membership in a pleasant manner, and was absolutely wonderful. Always have a great experience at this GameStop and any time I’m in Citrus Park, I will continue to go here versus the one across the street.

The selection is that of a regular game stop. Maybe slightly less due to the size of the store. But they seem to do a good job fitting almost everything they would have in a full sized store.

Negative experience: As a former GameStop employee I'm a little frustrated. I put an item on hold only to have them put the wrong item on hold. That wasn't the issue though. Once they put the wrong item on hold I went to pick it up only to find out they couldn't sell it to me AFTER THEY ALREADY CONFIRMED MY REQUEST TO BUY IT ON THE WEBSITE. When I used to work for GameStop high demand items became available for sale from pre orders 24 hours after the release. I understand it may be a 48 hour policy but for a high demand item? No thanks. I drove out of my way just to be told no. I've never written a negative review in my life but I've never had a GameStop waste my time, gas, or money on tolls just to deny my money. Needless to say I won't buy anything from this specific GameStop since the workers don't seem very good at having their requests done properly.
