Negative experience: Very disappointed with the customer service at GameStop. The employee clearly mentioned that there were 2 copies of the game available, but after barely checking the section for a second, they simply said they couldn’t find it and asked me to come back later. There was no patience or willingness to actually help. A much better effort and attitude towards customers is expected.
Fantastic experience: My Grandson brought earphones for his birthday he really enjoys Game Stop & the knowledgeable salesman about everything in the store. We'll return highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Morgan F was beyond helpful!!! She opened the door right at 12pm and I spent the next hour asking her so many questions. She was so patient and knowledgeable as I navigated my purchases. As someone who is getting back into gaming but also has a 5 year old nephew who is into gaming, I wanted to make sure that I bought the best console and games to maximize the experience and Morgan was amazing!

Negative experience: Sold multiple fully purchased Apple Watches here on Black Friday that I got from Walmart for cheaper price then they buy them for and game stop payed me for about 4 watches then put report out that someone was selling fake watches to them so they shut down trade in orders all Friday and I also have receipts and u can verify the watches are real on apple,com but employers had to call there regional manager and he denied me they are as ting like the watches are stolen or fake but they were purchased at Walmart and verified on Apple ’ as 100% real I would watch out for this place they also tried to say my watch wa a se it was a se 2 which they pay 225 for on website u can look it up don’t they these places keep ur receipts they will claim you have fake items just bc u sold a high amount. To them

Negative experience: Purchased Fallout 3: Game of the Year for the Xbox 360. Came home, it had only one of two discs. That's fine, shit happens. We tried to call them to ask if they could rectify it, it took 18!!!! calls for them to pick up over the course of two hours. When they finally picked up, they told us we'd have to go to Eastgate or Milford one. When we went there, they said it's because the Manager sold us the non GOTY version and thus only gave us one disc. (The case says Game of the Year on it). The Milford branch got it sorted and didn't even make us pay the $5 difference, which is awesome.
Negative experience: I traded in my 2 game systems and both of the employees said they aren’t able to do cash trade-in only venmo for trade in and told me it would come in 1hour and when i called to ask they then said at the latest 24 hours to come and it’s now been 2 days and i can’t even get an answer from the store.
Negative experience: Edit: came back today (7/23) at 4pm, was closed early. That's 3 out of 4 last times I've tried to come. No wonder GS is on the way out, you can't spend your money here if you wanted to. Closed early. Seems to be a pattern at this location. Very frustrating.

Negative experience: Gamestop shouldnt be a business , just shop at Amazon or Walmart. You’ll save money .
Negative experience: An employee said to her coworker to “make sure nobody steals that box” as it was only myself and another customer in the store I didn’t think that was a very professional thing to say as I’m holding a box of cards waiting in line to checkout. I don’t know what I did to deserve that comment being made. I gave no inclination that I was going to steal anything. I hope she learns not to judge people by how they look and realises that was a hurtful thing she said.
Negative experience: Showed up during prismatic evolutions release on 1/17. There was a line of 20 people. When we were let in the store they only had 5 elite trainer boxes, and 3 other products which they had 6/8 of. Only the first 4 people received any products even though there was a set limit of 2 product per person (should of been 2 items in general). I find it shameful that a renowned franchise only was able to stock enough product for 4 people. The only other conclusion was that employees set aside stock for themselves which in turn disregarded loyal costumers which is equally shameful. I find it most likely. Was a waste of time waiting an hour before open today. Will not be returning, the Kenwood location seems better ran and stocked. Change my mind.

Negative experience: The cash trade-in value at GameStop has notoriety for a reason and the only good thing from it is that it's fast, and this location is timely with trades most of the time. Employees do their best here but it's clear that nobody is prepared enough for some inquiries or things such as trade-ins, and anytime I go in it's always just one person by themselves which makes it hard to do literally anything if there's any more than two people in the store at the same time. No consensus on important customer policies so if you get screwed over it's tough luck. Employees look exhausted to no fault of their own almost all of the time.
Negative experience: Place is awful service and awful prices. Stick with Ebay. Brought in 5 Xbox One controllers that they told me to bring in. Not only did it take 3 separate times to look up my controllers but they also had to switch cashiers because of being “overwhelmed” (All had stick drift they were aware) they offered me 8 dollars a piece for them…. Cool, whatever they dont work ive been here for over an hour and just want to go home. But the sole reason for going there was to get a replacement controller. I purchase a controller with the 35ish bucks they gave me in trade ins and still forked over another 25 out of pocket for one of theirs. Not only does the controller they sold me have stick drift (like the 5 I just traded in) but they also will not take it back. Place is going under and it makes perfect sense as to why. Stick with Amazon, Ebay, etc… Cannot wait till GameStop goes out of business.

Fantastic experience: On November 1st at 4:11 PM EST, I had the pleasure of interacting with an outstanding employee named Hunter. Their customer service was exceptional, and they went above and beyond to help me. Once Hunter graduates, GameStop will lose an incredible team member. I hope the company does what it takes to keep him around. Highly recommended!

He kept my i.d another time and wouldn't give it back. I have to waste more gas going to get my i.d. he wouldn't give to my girl after I called. Negative experience: Online says they open at 10 on the official website and google ( i just submitted for a change on google), I waited 30 min before calling corporate, and they also said they should open at 10. 4 hours later, I went back, and the employee inside said they opened at 12, and its been like that for 3 years. While waiting at 10, I saw 3 other customers pull up and leave. There is a sign on the door meant for the hours, but it is blank. This store has no respect for its customers' time.

Negative experience: My wife came by to pick up a gift for my daughter and I that had already been paid for. The sign on the door and website said they opened 10am-9pm. There was no indication anywhere that they opened later. A sign in the door or anything. There were employees inside the store and one of them rudely just held up 3 fingers indicating that they open at 3pm. She waited 2 and a half hours for that. We now just want a refund and cannot get ahold of anyone at the store by way of telephone because no one will answer. We are just out that money and we are not rich people. Quite an inconvenience. Corporate office won't even answer.
Negative experience: This place is awful. I ordered a gift to pickup in store and nobody was there two hours after the store was meant to open. I came back after eating lunch and shopping around with my kid, and when I got back, there were employees there but the doors were still locked. The guy held up three fingers indicating they weren’t going to open the doors until three. I left. I’ve been trying to contact them to get a refund since I paid for the merchandise but still don’t have it in my possession, but nobody will answer the phone. Absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. This place is garbage.
